A very nice quirky hotel. Every room has its own style and designer. The staff is really friendly and goes above and beyond to help you. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom huge and everything is neat and clean. The breakfast is awesome with something for everyone. Bread, eggs and fresh vegetables plus fruit. Will definitely stay here when I visit next time!

If you want a safe place to stay in Cagliari, don't come here!!! I had problems with the accommodation and THEY CHARGED MY CARD 600 EUROS. Of course, I left the hotel as soon as I could. The next morning, I had a charge on my card and went to complain. The receptionist became AGGRESSIVE, RUDE, AND EVEN THREATENED TO HIT MY PARTNER. I'll start by recommending two very good hotels that are half the price of the Hotel MiraMare in Cagliari: Hotel Italia (€110 per night) and Carlo Felice (€90 per night). First of all, the elevator has a key, and they give it to you once you've climbed three flights of stairs with your suitcase. The customer experience from the moment you enter the lobby is terrible. I arrived on Monday, and after I had been in the room for 10 minutes, it was completely flooded. When I reported it, all they offered me was to put some towels on the floor. What kind of madness is this? Opinions on the decor may be subjective, but the reality is that this hotel has the feel of a brothel and sadomasochism (I've attached some pictures so you can better understand what I mean). Far from being an art museum hotel, it's a house of horrors, and I sincerely believe that its 4-star certification has been revoked or needs to be reviewed. The rooms are ridiculously small, the place is not at all hygienic for a hotel, and the amenities are just like the samples in magazines. It's shameful that they are so stingy. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THEY SHOULD CLOSE THIS HOTEL.

The hotel has a stylish design, and a decent location, but that is where the positives stop.||Several service and comfort issues let it down substantially. ||Only one toilet roll was provided for the entire stay, for two people for two nights, the others we snuck into our room from the dining room bathroom cupboard. Body wash another BYO, two tiny pouches, hardly enough for even a wash. ||The Wi-Fi was so slow it was unusable, and when I asked for an extra pillow I was told none were available. Ignore the alleged parking options or vallet parking, they have neither, and when you call tell you to park in a parking station, no direction given. ||The hotel is charging €3 for an in-room coffee pod, and tea bag, which feels excessive, especially when even small B&Bs include this for free. ||More concerning, we were locked INSIDE our room due to the deadlock not having an interior release, which raises safety issues.||The walls beside the bed had visible stains, detracting from the otherwise smart design, but tired look of the room. ||The air conditioning couldn’t be set below 20°C, even with staff assistance, which made the room uncomfortable in the middle of summer. There was no view (see pictures) and in bathroom both towel racks and shelves for soap were missing.||The night receptionist was so lazy and slovenly it wasnt funny, and really could not give a stuff about anything other than his food delivery. Also you will need to walk up four floors to get a key to the elevator on check in, no assistance provided. ||The few upsides, breakfast was excellent, and the staff who manage breakfast equally so. The location was also very good and central.||Pictures quite misleading however, see the ones I have included for the real experience.

Very central historic quirky quaint hotel. Gorgeous room / suite with extra terrace indoors. Entrance is via intercom on a busy street which when arriving late should be better advertised as no easy access. Breakfast is very good with lots of fresh fruit. Catered to allergies too. We'd have benefited from a better check in experience hence 3 star on service. Walking distance to everywhere and opposite a bus stop to beaches and a unique national park with flamingoes.

We had a 2 week sail around Sardinia and spent a night before our sail here. So enjoyable that we booked it for the night after we ended our sail too. It starts with the entrance door which is a piece of art then you find yourself inside a building full of character. The hotel itself is really like a museum as the name suggests. Beautiful art everywhere you turn. Rooms are peaceful and uniquely decorated with different mediums of art. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and all the amenities you may need are available. The staff are so nice and polite. A delightful breakfast is served in a charming artful room. The front desk kindly recommended some restaurants and made a booking for us (a party of 6) at a very popular restaurant on a Friday evening. super! We will stay again anytime we're back. Thanks to al the staff.

The location of this hotel is great, close to restaurants, buses and most key sights but it is unwelcoming and cluttered. Seems like a vanity project for an art collector rather than a hotel. Best room in the place is the breakfast room because of the harbour/sea view but bad food, uncomfortable tight space for more than 4 people at once. We reserved a harbour room 6 months in advance but were given a dark back room because of “computer error”. Really, how about some human accountability?! I cannot recommend this hotel except for location.

This is a unique boutique hotel experience. The concept is a great one for artist lovers and those who crave something distinctive while across from the Port in Cagliari. Our room was stunningly decorated and a treat to come to. HOWEVER, it was unbearably small. I would recommend that you consider the largest room available. We had little room for our luggage and had to climb over things to get to the other side of the room. We are small statured people and it was still a struggle. The hotel is green conscious. Had great food, and the best coffee on the island. If you require dependable WiFi and internet, DO NOT STAY HERE. The connection dropped throughout our 5 day stay and on our last evening, the power went out for the entire evening, over a 12 hour period. For about 5 hours, the power came on and off, but kept kicking off. We were never provided with an explanation for it, just that our side of the building was affected and that they were looking into the situation. At 12 midnight, I demanded an explanation, and the staff person basically said that they were told the matter would be fixed by the city centre by 9PM BUT by midnight there was nothing that could be done according to the staff. By 9PM there was NO POWER to us until approximately 7AM and nothing was offered to us to make up for the situation. I asked for a refund for the evening but the working staff refused to accommodate us, they had no authority to follow through with anything. We had prepaid through our travel agent, who now tells us that we needed to deal with the hotel directly. Our time on Sardinia was a lovely dream come true, HOWEVER, this last night has left a real sour experience to our holiday.
