Very central historic quirky quaint hotel. Gorgeous room / suite with extra terrace indoors. Entrance is via intercom on a busy street which when arriving late should be better advertised as no easy access. Breakfast is very good with lots of fresh fruit. Catered to allergies too. We'd have benefited from a better check in experience hence 3 star on service. Walking distance to everywhere and opposite a bus stop to beaches and a unique national park with flamingoes.

We had a 2 week sail around Sardinia and spent a night before our sail here. So enjoyable that we booked it for the night after we ended our sail too. It starts with the entrance door which is a piece of art then you find yourself inside a building full of character. The hotel itself is really like a museum as the name suggests. Beautiful art everywhere you turn. Rooms are peaceful and uniquely decorated with different mediums of art. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and all the amenities you may need are available. The staff are so nice and polite. A delightful breakfast is served in a charming artful room. The front desk kindly recommended some restaurants and made a booking for us (a party of 6) at a very popular restaurant on a Friday evening. super! We will stay again anytime we're back. Thanks to al the staff.

Not sure about all the negative reviews, you come to Italy, sardinia and the old hotels are stunning. There was alot going on but that's what this hotel is all about, very chic and artistic. The staff was very accommodating and yes you have to walk up stairs or take a lift that was probably retrofitted back in the 30's because these buildings didn't have modern fittings and that's most of the hotels in Europe. We will be staying again and the price for this location was crazy cheap, didn't get to experience breakfast as we left early but certainly will explore next time we go. Thank you for great experience

The location of this hotel is great, close to restaurants, buses and most key sights but it is unwelcoming and cluttered. Seems like a vanity project for an art collector rather than a hotel. Best room in the place is the breakfast room because of the harbour/sea view but bad food, uncomfortable tight space for more than 4 people at once. We reserved a harbour room 6 months in advance but were given a dark back room because of “computer error”. Really, how about some human accountability?! I cannot recommend this hotel except for location.

This is a unique boutique hotel experience. The concept is a great one for artist lovers and those who crave something distinctive while across from the Port in Cagliari. Our room was stunningly decorated and a treat to come to. HOWEVER, it was unbearably small. I would recommend that you consider the largest room available. We had little room for our luggage and had to climb over things to get to the other side of the room. We are small statured people and it was still a struggle. The hotel is green conscious. Had great food, and the best coffee on the island. If you require dependable WiFi and internet, DO NOT STAY HERE. The connection dropped throughout our 5 day stay and on our last evening, the power went out for the entire evening, over a 12 hour period. For about 5 hours, the power came on and off, but kept kicking off. We were never provided with an explanation for it, just that our side of the building was affected and that they were looking into the situation. At 12 midnight, I demanded an explanation, and the staff person basically said that they were told the matter would be fixed by the city centre by 9PM BUT by midnight there was nothing that could be done according to the staff. By 9PM there was NO POWER to us until approximately 7AM and nothing was offered to us to make up for the situation. I asked for a refund for the evening but the working staff refused to accommodate us, they had no authority to follow through with anything. We had prepaid through our travel agent, who now tells us that we needed to deal with the hotel directly. Our time on Sardinia was a lovely dream come true, HOWEVER, this last night has left a real sour experience to our holiday.

This hotel was beautiful and we had an oceanview from the window. The room was spacious and is designed by a local artist. All the rooms have a different design by different artists. The breakfast was very good also in a nice atmosphere. The service is the best I had ever. Pietro the manager of the hotel is just the best. He parked the car for us at the parkingplace close to the hotel. Told us about the local bars best places to eat. (Nothing is too much to ask) The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had two showers newly renovated. What a stay! I recommend this to everyone. Thank you Pietro and hotel staff.

This was a wonderful place to stay as a solo traveler visiting Cagliari. Full service, always attended boutique hotel with a quiet and beautiful room. Breakfast was always fresh and lovely in a library with marina views. The location, for my needs, was perfect as a base to head out daily. My favorite shop for room wine and cheese (Sapori di Sardegna) was right around the corner but the hotel provided a nice snack assortment, wine and fridge of refreshments. I couldn’t be happier with the choice of this accommodation.

This hotel exudes timeless fun in a 1930’s Art Deco kind of way. You could smell the charm from a mile away. It was a great balance between cozy and cute yet comfortable and edgy. The ideal location for anyone up for exploring Cagliari at any time of the day. The price for this room was absolutely justified and I would recommend this to friends and family. Having traveled all around the world, I couldn’t believe the low cost of my room. The staff was very friendly, assisting with every need. Breakfast was served every morning overlooking the main square. (I think I could have stared out that window for hours on end.) There were endless amounts of art at every turn, always leaving you surprised and looking forward to what you were going to find next. The art above my bed takes the cake and will forever be a conversation starter! Check out some of my photos to see what I’m taking about!
