Sadly Bad Experience and poor service to solve problem. We did reservations for cinnamon tour and lunch (called to be sure), once arrive no one knew about our reservation and then they agree to do tour but cannot provide lunch, somehow they did not note the lunch request, I was with 2 small kids (3 and 6) at 12:30 pm, the worst part was that they offer no solution to the problem of lunch, in my view a easy to solve problem, but they show no intention to help, just care to not take the responsibility of the lunch request. Our daily planned ruined. Management needs to improve.

This place is unique and special. It is located on a hill top overlooking the Mirissa beach. We got to check in early. Lunch was superb and we were served six dishes. Rooms were clean and spacious. Sea breeze was relaxing and we spent the whole evening just relaxing.

I've been here for about a month.|Very good location. Amazing view from the balcony to the rice terraces! Perfect location - between Weligama (where I surf) and Mirissa (best beach!) |The owner is a very kind, smart and responsible guy - everything I ask for, he does quickly and efficiently!|I will definitely come back!

We were very disappointed to find that the hotel was closed when we arrived on Friday, June 21, 2024. We had planned to order food, visit the nearby Cinnamon Museum, and return for a meal while enjoying the spectacular view from Mirissa Hill.||However, it wasn't a total waste of time because the Cinnamon Museum turned out to be very interesting. We spent about an hour at the museum. It is well laid out and tells the story of Sri Lanka's cinnamon industry very well.

Have been returning here for several years and have always gone away wishing we could have stayed longer. The villa is lovely in every way with amazing architecture and art to make it a museum by itself. The staff led by Thilak, Aruna and Chef Mahesh are fantastic by ensuring we are well taken care of during our stay. The kids loved the villa and spent a lot of time playing with the house pet Tilly who is the boss lady of Mirissa Hills. Everything about this place is lovely with access to both Weligama and Mirissa. Look forward to coming back.

The tour was very well presented and informative. Ananda, our guide was very happy to answer all my questions and extremely knowledgeable about the subject. The tour started with showing us the cinnamon plants, flowers, seeds and how to cultivate and harvest them. From there we went to the workshop and we were showed the various phases of the making what we buy in our supermarkets. We found it fascinating. Remember this a cinnamon tour only, and the only things you see are about cinnamon. If you are not interested in cinnamon is probably not worth going. After the tour we went for tea at the hotel in the plantation. Lovely views. Really worth the money we paid.

One of the best escapes from the bustling tourist path. 'Tilly,' the in-house German Shepherd doggo, was the best companion throughout the holiday. Stepping into the master bedroom might give you the feeling of entering a mini-museum with showpieces not typically found in a bedroom. Nonetheless, the place is exceptionally beautiful, and the evenings are truly stunning. It's an ideal setting for a friends/family reunion, especially if you have the entire villa to yourselves.
