We stayed here as a family of 5 and it was excellent. Very basic but all you need if you plan to be out and about all day. Fantastic location as walking distance to everything you need.

Room is basic but clean and spacious, value for money. Staff are nice and helpful. Great location. Convenient for shopping and lots of restaurants around

We stayed in a room for two with my girlfriend. It was good, though not the nicest play to stay. It is a cheap option that has installations according to the price. A bit old.The location of the Hotel is unbeatable. Really near to the top sightseeing places and the subway. You also have many restaurants and markets near it.In few words: a nice place to stay if you want to be in a good location and you are OK staying in a place with old installations and not spend too much money.

Place is about a 16 minute walk from Namba Station. It's affordable and close to Dotonbori. Room is pretty large as well. Other than that, the room looked old. Floors are cement, dust on floor, hair from previous guests, and smelly bed/linens. Stayed for 5 days and it appears they do not clean the room at all. Water changes temperature throughout shower and chair within room was lopsided. Smelt oily smells occasionally every day.. not sure if cooking exhaust leaks to the room or something. Probably would not stay here again.

Stayed here in a 4 bed tatami mat room on the 6th floor with 2 adults and 2 children. Location is great. 15 minute walk from Namba Station. Very close to Dotomburi area. 10 minutes from food market.|Room was very clean w small ensuite bathroom. Good shower pressure and shampoo/body wash/ toothbrushes provided. A complimentary bottle of water each was provided daily. The kids slept well on the tatami mat beds, but the adults found them a bit on the hard side! We had a balcony overlooking the street and we could open the door to let in fresh air. The rooms are non-smoking but there is smoking areas outside the lifts and we did find that there was a smokey smell coming into our room at times. We placed a towel at the base of the door and opened the balcony door and that alleviated the smell. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A good budget option for Osaka.

The room was fine, but not worth it's price, which in my opinion was deceptively written online. Having a laundry room was nice, but the dryer needed to be ran twice to get anything reasonably dry. Walls were so thin and I could hear loud groups enter the building throughout the night. Booked a non-smoking room, but the smoking areas were close enough that I could smell the smoke in my room and anytime I had to leave the hotel.

We stayed in the Hotel Naniwa for two nights. The location of the hotel is pretty good. It is very close to Dotonbori Street, but in a smaller street and hence quiet. It is also not too far from the railway station Namba and subway stations. The room is quite big for a Japanese hotel. Also the bathroom is big. Everything is super clean, the staff was friendly, the Wifi fast. We even had an own router in the room. The size of the bed is okay, it was hard but still comfortable. ||Probably a less attractive point for this hotel might be the interior design. It is not the latest fashion. Frankly speaking, it looks quite old. I am not a picky traveler, so I don't mind, especially when everything else is perfect in a hotel. But if you need a modern and fancy looking room, then better look for another hotel.
