Mirror House-Tours by Appointment ONLY!

Very cool activity in Kuwait! Only thing I would suggest is not marketing it as a complete mirror house as the upstairs is largely normal except for a back room and elevator. But the ground floor is gorgeous!

I'll be honest, I was not expecting much from this visit! I didn't read any reviews, so I was floored and fascinated all at the same time. I was greeted at the gift shop by Lidia Al Qattans daughter, and proceeded into the reception area, the minute I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. Without giving too much away, only a visit could justify any review. Lidia is truly inspiring and well beyond her time, her creative genius and love of family is evident in every room of the house- she prances around magically with passionate explanations of her artistic endeavors evidenced yet again in the well crafted activities throughout the tour. This isn't just a museum, it is an experience and a deep dive into creativity shaped by culture, family and love. Nestled away in city, this mirrored masterpiece of a house stands out subtlety yet artistically inviting outsiders to discover the beauty, craftsmanship and creative genius of Lidia and Khalaf Al Qattan. Highly recommended, a must see!

What an experience. Highly recommend. A 2 hour journey with the lovely Lidia Qattan. An absolute delight. I loved every minute. Lidia moved to Kuwait when she married her Kuwaiti husband Khalifa (also a pioneering artist but now sadly deceased). The Mirror House was created by Lidia and is a private residence in Kuwait. I was left in awe of Lidia's work. The house is covered with mirror mosaics. Lidia entertained us with her stories and detailed information about each room. I booked the VIP PACKAGE as a solo traveller. You must make an appointment to go via the website. Complete the Reservation Health Form and wait for comfirmation on WhatsApp.

It's a very unique destination when in Kuwait, a remarkable place with a passionate artist/family Every story behind each piece of glass is beyond amazing Madam Lidia Alkatan and her lovely daughter will tell you an amazing tale about their lifework and you will go through a mixture of art and Kuwait history Highly recommend

It is an amazing place! The artist, Lidia, gave me a private tour of the house, and I had an amzing time with her. She is an extremely intelligent and passionate lady. Cannot believe that she is 85 years old, and still so full of life! The mirror works are beautiful and the paintings from her late husband, Khalifa Qattan, (displayed upstairs) are great. You rarely see such great paintings in Muslim countries. Lidia spent almost 3 hours with me, and I felt so privileged. Such an honor to get to know a great artist. Also, Lidia and her daughter showed me such a warm hospitality. Prepared cold drinks for a humid day, small snack for the road, and lovely souvenirs. Thank you so much! Definitely worth visiting in Kuwait!! They have a bit strick Covid regulations, but it was understandable, cause the artist still lives in that place. (It was private residence, and the artist is getting old. Her health should be taken care of.) Should be appreciated by many people.

Amazing place to enjoy histories directly from the artist / owner of the house. A beautiful lady full of energy!! A different point of view, just from the genius side! Thanks a lot for the experience!

This place was awesome! Toured this with the composer herself, Lidia Al Qattan. She hosted the party of two I was with. So much history and knowledge for this tour. I was blown away by the attention to detail and effort the composer took to make her fine art. I highly recommend this place (10/10). I happened to have toured this during their monthly market they had. Please buy your tickets in advanced and submit COVID information on website.
