Misc Coffee

This has to be one of the best coffee shops in the city! 1. The Iced Pandan was incredible, the house made Pandan syrup is an art of its own! It balanced the espresso to perfection. Each sip lets you first experience the Pandan and then the hit of espresso. Unlike the sugary syrups used at at cafes this one is just the prefect balance. 2. The pour over was one of the best we’ve had in Toronto, perfectly balanced and took us back to the days when we could find a solid cup of pour over. Absolutely a must try spot for coffee lovers! Will be back for more soon!

I recently tried their coffee. The espresso was well-balanced, though the Costa Rica blend isn’t my personal favourite. Overall, it’s still good, but the space is quite small.

I’ve seen this café all over TikTok, it’s definitely aesthetically pleasing. I tried the much-hyped and overpriced pandan latte and was really disappointed. It tasted nothing like real pandan, it was clearly just a syrup mixed into a strong coffee, with no actual pandan flavour coming through. The barista who made it also served me the drink mixed instead of having me do that, noticed this after seeing photos of others drinks served to them differently. Maybe the positive reviews are from people who’ve never actually had real pandan before.

Cute new spot with gorgeous vibes and even better baristas ✨ Nice interior considering high ceilings + tons of natural light = chef’s kiss. They put us on their Concept Drink and it slapped.

Nice coffee shop with a cool vibe. On this occasion, I grabbed an iced mocha, and it was pretty good. I’d be interested in having a more standard coffee or trying their concept drink that was unfortunately sold out. The setup of the shop is interesting; it’s bright, and the staff were friendly. There’s seating inside, but not a ton.

Unpretentious little coffee shop with good vibes and clean aesthetics in toronto. Came two days in a row because we loved the coffee so much. Baristas were attentive and kind. The concept pandan iced latte is a must try.

This almost became my go to coffee spot, as everyone is warm and hospitable, and the coffee is extremely good. I come in today and realize you’re cashless. Unfortunately this will be my last visit. Cashless is classist and many people in the area are paid in tips; shame on you.

Cool design and very good coffee! They ask you for the type of beans you want for your espresso, which is really nice.

Yelp
Misc Coffee located at the corner of Ossington and Harrison St. (a few min walk from Dundas St. W.) is the west end's newest coffee shop. The space is minimalistic where the coffee counter is the focal point of the cafe. The pastel green coffee bar stands out amongst the wood and cement tones of the shop. The menu is simple consisting of mainly caffeine based drinks (espresso, espresso with milk, batchbrew, mocha, and hot cocoa). There are a few pastries for purchase as well to go with your beverage. I stopped by Misc Coffee on a Monday morning before 8am. The place was quiet. There are a few tables with a few seats to enjoy your coffee. Service was friendly and my cortado was made well. The space is calming and relaxing, giving it a chill vibe. It's a nice space to catch up with friends, read a book, or do a bit of work. Overall, a great new addition to the Ossington and Dundas area! I'm sure it's already a favourite among the neighbourhood!
