Absolutely loved our mezcal tasting! Omar was so knowledgeable and gave us some really great tastings. I think we got 5 tastings. Such diverse flavors of mezcal, I definitely recommend this tasting! Mezcal making is such a craft, and it definitely made me love it even more afterwards. Omar was awesome, he gave us some local recommendations on where to eat afterwards. Easy to talk to.

We scheduled a mezcal tasting here and were super impressed with not only the venue and the mezcal, but also our teacher Monica who was absolutely wonderful! She was so welcoming, patiently answered all of our questions, and was just so much fun to be around. She added to the tasting with her own unique stories and experiences making it super conversational. Highly recommend!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our tasting with Andrea. We learnt so much about mezcal, the process, and the different taste profiles. Puchega and Cuishe were my favorites. We were lucky enough to purchase a similar bottle of Puchega from their shop downstairs…should have purchased more! Highly recommend.

We recently visited MisMezcales and had an exceptional experience. The owner graciously provided us with a mezcal tasting that was nothing short of fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable, guiding us through the origins and production processes of each mezcal we tasted. What made the experience truly unique was the focus on small-batch production from various small communities. It was fascinating to learn about the different methods and traditions that go into crafting each mezcal. The passion and expertise of the owner made the tasting both educational and enjoyable.

Met the owner’s lovely parents and had a wonderful time being introduced to new tequilas. Cannot say enough about how friendly and fun it was to talk with them. Anyone who is interested in mezcal and finding a special bottle will be thrilled with this shop.

A small mezcal shop to pick up a few bottles to take home. Most of their selection is craft and pricey but I love helping these small shops where you can see the passion they have for what they are showing you. I chose this place specifically because I heard they allow you to taste several varieties and there is a story for everything. I've never been a fan of mezcal but this trip has changed me. Stop in and mezcal is a great gift or souvenir to take home.

I don't understand if it's a shop or just for reserved mezcal tastings. We arrived around 6pm to find the door locked, metal door closed over. We waited because the hours state they are open until 7pm. We decided to leave and noticed about 4 people hanging around the door. We stopped and wondered if they knew the store would be opening. The owner came around 6:30pm and opened up the door, so we started to walk over. He closed the door and when we approached it was locked. Pure disappointment. We wanted to buy 4-5 bottles of mezcal to bring back to the states with us. We sure won't be spending our money here. Advertise correct hours!

I found out about Mis Mezcales randomly from a Reddit post since I was looking for an authentic mezcal tasting for my boyfriend and I. Many of the mezcal tastings in the area are run by a specific brand and I wanted to avoid that to get the most unbiased experience possible. Omar the owner of the store, ran the tasting. It was epic! We learned so much about Mezcal and his personal passion for the spirit shows. He had us taste Mezcals that he personally brought back from Oaxaca (and we couldn't purchase) but was able to steer us towards available ones that were close. He also allowed us to taste before we purchased! We will be back the next time we visit CDMX! Love Omar and Mis Mezcales!

Great little shop for trying Mezcal, We bought a few bottles to take home and a Raicilla to drink for lunch. Great location and great selection and a fantastic education.

Excellent selection of difficult to find mezcals - always worth the stop! They have a full range of agaves, from the youngest and most common to the oldest and weirdest (always a positive).

How fun!!!! We enjoyed Omar's tour so much. He was very knowledgeable and interesting. An hour length was perfect. Hopefully we will visit their location in Oaxaca soon as well. We live in CDMX, but had guests visiting who wanted to taste Mezcal. We can't wait to go back for another tour with future visitors, and recommend this to all of our local friends.

I highly recommend Mis Mezcales. I'm relatively new to mezcal, but enjoy it and have been learning more. Omar (the owner) was a wonderful host, offering his knowledge, along with tastes. This small shop has a nicely curated selection of mezcal and sotol.

My husband and I specifically made a pilgrimage here to search out new and interesting mezcals. The inventory, despite the shop's teeny size, is good and varied! I know nothing about liquor generally and the owner, Omar, gave me a good lesson on several different mezcals that he carries. My husband was offered sample mini-shots. Omar even bubble wrapped the bottles we bought to take back to the US.

It's a small shop but has a good selection of small batch Mezcals and Sotols (a Mezcal like spirit made from Dasylirion instead of Agave). The shop keeper Omar, was super nice and generous with both information and tastes. They also carry few artisanal food products from the Oaxaca region. Great place to score souvenirs for your foodie loved ones. Why Mezcal? I love Mezcal's range of flavors. They're basically made with 2 ingredients, water and agave, but agave comes in many varieties. Where tequila uses exclusively the blue agave, mezcal can use over of a dozen of the agave varieties creating a wider and more interesting flavor profile.

I tried the best meZcals of my life here wow. Mostly all because of Omar..... He explained us alll of the mezcal..... had us taste soo many and we had to buy so many because it was so good and so much information on all of the mezcal from Omar. If you are looking for a mezcal shop to buy mezcal THIS IS THE PLACE. I love Omar omg !!!! lol thank you Omar!

If you're looking for quality Mezcal to bring home, this is the place! Craft selection of different mezcals from all around Mexico. They make sure what they have in store is directly made by the growers that really know the agave plants. If you're looking for something in particular, the owner is very knowledgable. Will let you taste test almost everything beforehand to make sure you like it. Great in-store experience. We definitely learned a lot about the mezcal and the culture behind the popular drink.

Cute little place that gives you personal tasting. The staff guided me to Mezcal we can't find in the US. Highly recommend this place as a stop to enjoy tasting and carry home unique bottles.

Excellent small shop for Mezcal. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, will provide you tastes and make recommendations, and is very knowledgeable. Oh, and his English is quite sufficient. A great place to buy some lesser distributed liquors or to help you make up your mind.
