Trailborn Grand Canyon Hotel Review | Hotels Above Par

"On-site at the hotel, this steakhouse is one of the best places to eat in Williams, even if you don’t end up staying at the property. I loved the bar’s dark wood and handcrafted jade tiles, while the dining room’s more subdued decor keeps attention on the bright yellow menus. Steaks are an excellent, obvious choice, rubbed with inventive spice mixes like black chili coffee, but the broad menu spans Southwest favorites and Route 66 diner classics, from vegan cauliflower tacos to smash burgers. The bar leans into agave spirits, and the must-order is the All-American old fashioned, poured with bourbon and smoothed out with a Dr. Pepper reduction." - Lauren Keith

This place screams Arizona! Wow This place is so incredibly delicious and it has everything I have ever craved while in Arizona - STEAK! Head Chef Paul is one of the best chefs on the west coast and this restaurant is almost like Arizonas very own “Bear” styled restaurant these guys give it their all, blood sweat and laughs. Factually this is the best new restaurant Williams has ever been graced with, so much so that if this restaurant keeps up the brilliance and uniqueness of what they are doing, it’s so good Williams property value will go up. Decor: brilliant, clean modern but with that rustic homey old school that’s got a lot of character vibes. Solid tables, solid chairs and perfect chunky plates Service: Truly so hospitable! The staff go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and having the best time. They bring a sense of elevated standards to the whole town of Williams like how it’s suppose to be done:) Food: the best steak I have had in Arizona. Chargrilled ribeye with the perfect marbling - yes please! The whole table got it and it was the meal of the year for us! Starting with the mussels which were divine, white wine and bacon definitely do work together in this combo and chef surprised us with the salmon dip which is next level delicious and every thing you needed but you needed a push - best salmon dip I have ever had, with the perfect sized toasted baguette bread and pickled onion and pickled jalapeño - delicious The ribeye was cooked to perfection and seasoned so well! It comes with a choice of the cut, a choice of the rub, a choice of the sauce and comes with two sides- I went for the Yukon gold mash with goat cheese, made me cry a little lol and I had the collard greens which tasted so good I had to make sure my mama didn’t get slapped - absolutely delicious with a bourbon and bacon cook on the collards it was a great balance but also wholesome! The Drinks: Finally someone in this area can make a proper dirty martini! And it’s here! All of those drinks your scared to order with the boys, don’t worry Miss Kittys has got you, except after you have a proper cocktail here you will have a new favorite - the bar has everything you would ever want or need. And it is one of the coolest looking bars I’ve ever seen:) Overall THIS IS THE PLACE!! Please do yourself and your loved ones a favor and go and try this brilliance of food that is nothing short of Art and love infused together. Chef Paul has done it again and he brings his Midas touch to all of his dishes and he reminds you of how food and restaurant experiences are meant to be!

If you’re looking for a great place to eat in Williams, Arizona, Miss Kitty’s Steakhouse & Bar is one spot that keeps getting better every time I visit. I’ve been here three times now, and each visit has been consistently enjoyable. The menu offers a nice variety—from burgers and steaks to creative appetizers and desserts—and everything I’ve tried has been made with fresh, quality ingredients. The service is friendly and attentive, the food is flavorful, and the atmosphere feels both welcoming and relaxed. Even little details like cloth napkins, good music, and comfortable seating make the meal feel a step above the usual. For a small town like Williams, it’s great to have a restaurant where you can count on good food, great service, and a pleasant dining experience every time. Whether you’re passing through on a road trip or you’re a local looking for a dependable spot to eat, Miss Kitty’s is worth a visit.

We decided to have dinner after a long day hiking at grand canyon and we were so happy we decided to try Miss Kitty's! I won the food draw with the salmon! Absolutely delicious!!! Id you are deciding between steak and salmon GO.THE.SALMON!!! Partner had the ribeye with collards and goats cheese mash - also delicious! Slightly charred and cooked perfectly medium rare. Bestie had the tri tip with fries and corn - cooked perfectly too. The blood orange margarita was on point - not too sweet which i appreciated. Mains were so good we had to try the desserts too. Green chile apple pie unusual flavours but it totally worked. My texas choc sheet cake was great - super rich and very chocolately. Rafael our waiter was AWESOME! Super friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. I always forget to take photos... sorry! Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I don’t eat at fancy restaurants. Mostly because I’ve been in the industry and when you pay fancy prices, you’re not always getting what you really want. What you tend to get is clout saying you went and really the cost per ounce never seems to add up. So for the wife’s birthday we made a trip up north to #Williams Az and we stopped in to see one of my favorite people and one of the most amazing #chefs I’ve been blessed with sharing a kitchen space with in competition. @solarborn at @misskittyssteakhouse I’ve been traveling up and down #i40 and #route66 for years and when I’m say it’s never seen anything like this place I mean it! Even if Chef Paul was my enemy I’d still recommend him and his team for a James Beard and a Micheline Star! Make the drive from far and wide and do your pallet a flavor! Bōn Apetíté! P.s don’t pass on the steamed Mussels!

Waited at the hostess stand for 10 min while many unhappy customers left… red flag one. When we were seated, the server informed us they only had one type of steak left and chicken. The server was very kind so we made it work - food came out fast. The equites tasted horrible. The meat was raw (see photo). The salad was good and fresh. The soup was delicious. Then as we got up to leave, after tipping 20% aside from the oattrious experience the employees proceeded to whisper about us. THIS DOES NOT HAVE A HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE BATHROOM. When I asked at the front desk, the woman rudely responded and we searched for the next restroom. It was extremely tight but we made it work. Very unfortunate- not the staffs fault but wow bad bad bad.

One of the best meals on our trip to Williams. We started with delicious hand-crafted Blood Orange Margaritas and smoked trout dip then two delicious juicy and tender steaks. Followed by churros with chocolate dipping sauce. Come hungry and you won’t be disappointed!! So good… best restaurant inn Williams!
