(2.5 stars) For a quick’n’dirty Chinese feed in Wollongong, Miss Lee’s certainly looked like the place to be. Plus, it happened to be open on a public holiday… We made two selections from a reasonably extensive but terribly photographed menu of mostly Chinese dishes. Fire chicken with cheese ($13.80) is more of a whacky fusion entry. It takes an excellent Korean dish, buldak, and makes it, well, quite boring and bland. The signature spicy style beef ($14.80) does slightly better on the chilli stakes, teaming slices of cold roast beef under a Sichuan-spiced onion and cabbage stir fry with a topper of feathered shallots and fresh ginger. It wasn’t hot enough to really need one, but you can neck a Tsing Tao ($7.80) if you happen to disagree. Special fried rice ($12.80) didn’t hold enough interest to be labeled special: I think I only spotted one frozen pea. Despite some effort at the front end of the space with a mural—presumably of the Shanghai girls-inspired namesake, Miss Lee—the dining room is a bit of a long and soulless eating barn with too much white light, worn booths and tables, and mismatched chairs. However with all three of their banquet menus available for fewer than twenty-five bucks per person, I suspect the high Google ratings for this venue judge it on affordability rather than the quality of the feed.

Nice staff and clean restaurant. I usually buys cheap Chinese food at shopping mall and I realised that there is a huge difference between store and shopping mall. it’s really delicious! Price is expensive totally reasonable. Honey chicken was perfect but fry rice was good but I think they made a little rush? Something is missing when I ate it. anyway it was good

waiting time for dishes was long, takes about 25 mins for an entree to be served. In this case is the San Choy Bau. We orders sizzling black bean chicken and they gave us the dish with no sizzling at all. Not acceptable. The vegetables in the coconut curry is half cooked you won’t be able to swallow them. The steamed rice is halve cooked and very dry. Plus dish size is small

Amazing, Fabulous, Wonderful, Awesome at all the same time. The food are so tasty, big portions, SUPER CHEAP. They are very generous with portions, ingredients, they put many kinds of veggies and for seafoods, many kind as well.. provide container of rice, hot teas and water... Average dish price is 10-11$ but super big portions This big fish is 14.95 $ and the sauce is amazing

Awesome customer service. Food is 100% valued its price. Its a really great deal if you order a curry because you will get enough rice to eat with that curry for free. Order an entree, a mains and a dessert and still it won't be $30. Great place to dine in if you are in Wollongong. I tried their thin and crispy calamari, coconut chicken curry and a dessert called as Affogatto. It was overall a great experience and I will go back there certainly.

Miss Lee is a relatively new Chinese restaurant in the gong. The food is ok, the rainbow beef wasn't crispy but the flavours were good, seafood chow mein was quite salty as well as the pho. Servicing sizes are good so that's a plus. Service was the biggest let down, the waitresses had to be asked numerous times for things such as fresh chilli and the beansprouts/herbs for the pho as they kept forgetting. Definitely tailored for a Western palate it's an ok place for a quick meal.

The food was wonderful and arrived very quickly to our table. My friend was also very happy with the vegetarian options. The prices are also very very low and the portions are huge. Definitely will go there again 😍

**MISLEADING, ILLEGAL PRACTICES** Bubble tea is advertised as $5 (reg) + 50c for toppings, so I ask to order a Thai Milk Tea with pearls. There’s a sign saying from mid Dec all prices advertised will increase by 10%, which I can accept and understand. Once I get to the counter to pay, they tell me it’s $7.15. I asked why, given the advertised price + increase I’d expect it to be $6.05. They responded that that the menu prices are wrong. Not only is this misleading and inaccurate price display, ACCC laws specify that if there are multiple prices then they must honour the lowest one or stop selling it: https://www.accc.gov.au/business/pricing/price-displays I won’t be returning to this place, as the food itself is average but we enjoyed the good value of it (before price increase). Part of owning a business includes ensuring that it continues to be compliant with Australian laws. While I understand that it can get busy, the experience left a bad taste to the mouth esp when they refuse to comply with the law after being I formed of the fact.
