Sunday brunch and we walk in, it feels like a modern space, good energetic atmosphere with house music on the speakers. The food was a wait, unfortunately wasn't warm when it finally arrived, but it was thankfully very delicious. However it had been so much better warm. Service is alright, bare bones. We had a nice brunch, but we will go somewhere else in the future.

The brunch is definitely recommended. The burger for dinner is delicious and the pasta too. The donuts for desert are devined, but the Norwegian dream- a pancake is horrible. It is not a pancake at all, more of a burned pound cake of some sorts ( formkake). That one ruined the whole dinner experience. Great food and such a nice staff! Clean and nice toilets. A trendy and recommended place.

Bravo Miss Sophie!!! Brought 20 colleagues for dinner and wine and it is fun to experience that everybody praised the food, both cod and entrecôte! Great service, super atmosphere, cool music and as I said, beautiful food with great taste! I recommend this place with all my heart!

Good looking and truly tasty food accompanied by a nice, well ranged wine selection and a charming ambience, but Nespresso for coffee just doesn't complete the experience. The genuine bar helps it back on track, though. My advice. Skip the espresso and go straight for digestives if you want to complete your dining with Miss Sophie.

Excellent food and service and a very nice and cosy interior. Our (brit) waiter did an excellent job and service, this place is highly recommended and has an attractive menu of food and drinks.

Nice experience but overrated. Paid a lot of money for an avocado sandwich which had brown avocado and a hard boiled egg (which was supposed to be poached). Also very strange that they ONLY offer black coffee and no other barista coffees. Service was also disappointing. There are lots of other better places to eat brunch in Oslo.

After reading about this restaurant from a travel blog, we decided to celebrate my daughter´s 8th birthday there as a family brunch. When I reserved a table for seven persons online there was a comment section where I noted that it was a birthday celebration. Upon arriving there, my daughter excitedly told our waitress that it was her birthday and received a reply of "Oh is it?" with no congratulations back. There was also no gesture of a dessert or small sweet with candles to acknowledge her birthday as we have experienced at other restaurants. The food and wine was absolutely delicious, but unfortunately the waitress was not very warm or welcoming and did not hide her impatience very well. We also overheard her telling her colleague "Oh don´t worry, you can say whatever you like. They only speak English" - after which her colleague started speaking in very foul language. What they did not know is that some of us at the table, including my daughter, can understand Norwegian (and Swedish). Very unprofessional and a real pity as the food was excellent but the service very poor! Will not recommend further to friends and colleagues.

Yelp
Miss Sophie is a trendy, fun bar and restaurant that tastes just as amazing as it looks. The atmosphere was lovely, with a beautiful design and welcoming vibe. The staff was super friendly and made the dining experience as fancy as possible. We had the mussel and brie soup - to DIE for, as well as the Cod, which was equally amazing. If I'm ever back in Oslo, this will be one of my first stops!

Yelp
We should have known the service would be forced when the restaurant sent several text reminders to confirm we would show up and that we only had the table from 8-10:45 pm. Though the restaurant was only 25% full, the rhythm was off from the start. Admittedly, our table of 8 was not the most organized, we found our first waitress patronizing and showed no hospitality when we requested a platter of oysters to share amongst us. After much frustration on both sides of the table, we got a second server and she managed to take our order with more grace. The oysters were fresh and delicious, and our main courses were nice but nothing special. I am a tourist and was shocked at how unprofessional the evening started. If this place wants to keep customers they need to train their staff better so they know their bar and menu and show service.
