We are traveling from Florida and this was all the charm we were hoping to experience wrapped up in one delicious meal! The staff were friendly and HAPPY! The atmosphere was so charming! And each of our meals were incredibly tasty! Highly recommend! And don’t miss out on the homemade corned beef hash!

I live in Webster so I placed an online order then headed there. About 20 to 25 min ride. My food wasn’t even started when I walked in… They didn’t notice my receipt, which was fine. The cook was fast, but unfortunately, the food quality shows maybe too fast. The home fries were the ones that were sitting on the grill since before I walked in, eggs were OK, toast burnt, I asked for extra crispy bacon n there’s not even a little crisp. The waitress was super nice, I’ll prob give it another try sometime but def bummed, i’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time 😕

Google
4.5. Food is absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend the Crunchy French Toast, which is decadent and texturally interesting. Corned Beef Omelette is also amazing and fresh. Service is hardworking and timely. Atmosphere is crowded; expect to wait a little, but it’s well worth it. Looking forward to coming again.

So if you’ve never eaten here, you’ve missed out on the best breakfast you’ve ever had. They specialize in French toast and pancake artistic variations and omelets - if you can think it they have it. They make their own delicious corned beef hash - and they should. It is amazing. They have very affordable breakfasts to the tune of $5.50 for two eggs, home fries, and toast which speaks to their making sure everyone can eat here. You can spend up to $20 on their more creative meals. You should know that parking is difficult and the seating is limited but hear me when I say the wait is worth it. Come early if you want to avoid that. The menu is easy, they know what they are good at. You want to eat here. I come as often as I can.

Google
so good. wait times tend to be pretty long, but the food is well worth it. reasonable prices and large portions. their french toast is phenomenal 🙏

Google
Tiny old school train car diner. There was a line outside, but the wait was well worth it! Tons of fun options. Pancakes are huge and well presented. Food took a while to get but never saw the bottom of our coffee cups while we waited. The inside is peppered with stickers everywhere, made a fun game for the kids to try to find duplicates. My little one is already asking when we can go back.

Google
Unique breakfast spot! They stay busy but are on top of making sure you have hot coffee and are taking care of everyone there. We arrived at 1:25 and they close at 2pm on a Sunday. They had use wait right outside as there is no room inside to stand. It’s cramped but not in a bad way just no extra room for people to be standing around. They are very nice and helpful when asked about the menu. Coffee was really good and they have organic honey ++++ Don’t be in a hurry but that’s because everything is made fresh and to order which is a good thing. They all help each other out with tables which is nice. If you sit at the counter you can watch them make your food but we sat in a booth right across from the counter. I also have to mention how much we enjoyed the music. It might not be for everyone but it was the old school 90’s type funk and it was one great song after another! We had the Oreo pancakes (picture) and a plain pancake and both were outstanding. In my opinion not all pancakes are created equal and this was one of the best. Thanks Leiya and Dee you guys were great!

Google
The food is pretty good here! They have an entire menu just for french toast which is pretty cool! The stickers all over the place was something I had never seen before. This is definitely a little Worcester gem. The food is a little pricey though and the servers all seem kinda upset. I overall enjoyed my experience and loved their cinnamon bun milkshake!!

Yelp
ORIGIN: In 2006 Kim Kniskern purchased and reopened the long-vacant diner as Miss Worcester Diner. Kim had previously worked for years at restaurants, and can be found cooking meals for customers. A resident of Worcester since the age of 16, it can be assumed the diner, affectionately referred as "Miss Woo", is named after the owner who devotes much of her time to its success. LOCATION: Worcester was once a national center for dining car manufacturing. The diner is located in an industrial area across the street from the building in which it had been manufactured, the former Worcester Lunch Car Company. There is a small parking lot next to the diner. CONCEPT: The diner maintains its historic American diner roots, including the owner preparing dishes for customers. ATMOSPHERE: The diner, manufactured in 1948, is recognized in the National Register of Historic Places as being one of the few remaining dining cars that had been manufactured in the once thriving city dining car industry. FOOD: I tried the two popular breakfast dishes that were recommended as a must try by the server: crunchy French toast and Irish Eggs Benedict. The hype is warranted! The crunchy French Toast is a homage to childhood favorite cereal. Slices of bread are dipped in crushed Honey Comb cereal and subsequently fried, adding a welcomed flavor and texture dimension to the classic dish. Many other uncommon dishes on the menu, including a wide variety of stuffed French toast concoctions and milk shakes. Miss Worcester aims to please snd surprise! SERVICE: Service is attentive and personal, allowing a true dining car diner experience. TIPS: Only cash and Venmo are accepted for payment. The diner closes each day at 2 PM. There may be a wait to be seated.

Yelp
If you're in the mood for a classic diner look no further than Miss Worcester Diner. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here. It's an extensive menu. None of us tried the French toast, but it's worth nothing it had its own dedicated menu and looked outstanding. The Spanish Omelette with hashbrown patties and rye was a great value and was prepared well. If I lived in the area, I'd definitely be a regular here. One tip - if you forget cash they have a Venmo QR code posted.

Yelp
Miss Worcester Diner is most definitely a favorite with the locals. When we arrived there was one dirty booth available and we grabbed it! Unfortunately, we did not alert the staff that we were 'new customers' and they were waiting for us to leave so they could clean off the table! Oops. Be sure to let staff know you are looking to be seated! Once we got that sorted out, our drink order was taken and quickly brought. Seriously this tiny diner was absolutely mobbed the entire time we were there on a Saturday late morning. No one was 'stressed'. Staff and customers are laid back and rolling with the flow but the staff never stop moving. It did take a while for the waiter to come take our order, but that was fine because the menu is extensive for such a small establishment. They have an entire stuffed French Toast menu all to itself! There are lots of flavors you can add to your coffee, a huge selection of omelets, kids menus, house made hash, breakfast specials and a lunch menu of sandwiches and burgers. Booths seat four adults. There are counter seats that run the length of the diner. If you leave a space between you and your neighbor at the counter staff will ask you to move over. They need every seat. As it was very busy our meal did take some time to arrive. While we waited, we looked around the diner. It seems guests leave stickers behind. All over everything. Ceiling, wall, window. Reading and looking at them all kept us entertained and made for lively discussion. That and playing peek-a-boo with the toddler at the next table. Food quality is good and the items well prepared. It's your standard breakfast fare: eggs, breakfast potatoes, toast. They do it well. Our limited interaction with staff showed them to all be very nice and friendly. If you need the rest room, ask for the key. It's outside, around the back. A small, clean, well stocked, 'one for all' restroom. Although the parking lot is small (we luckily got the one spot left) it seems enough to keep the diner full! Park so as to make room for as many cars possible. No on-street parking and I didn't see any public parking lot nearby. BTW, there is a bus stop right by the entrance to the diner, which is off the parking lot. We thought it was a line to get in, but it's just folks waiting for public transport.

Yelp
We had a work free Monday and decided to go out for breakfast. I suggested we try the Miss Worcester diner because I've heard a lot of positive things about it and I've gone past it alllll my life and had never been here!!! We arrived about 9:30 am and there was plenty of counter seats available and only one booth. We grabbed the booth and were quickly greeted and our server took our orders. Miss Worcester diner is exactly how you picture a diner should be... Our breakfasts came and they looked alright, but I have to say they were about the best breakfasts we ever had!!! The potatoes and corn beef hash were perfection, they weren't all dried up like most places we've been. The eggs...perfect and even the toast was delicious! My husband ordered the kielbasa with his and said it was delicious too. I can't believe I went by here for decades and never stopped in!!

Sarah C.

Yelp
I cannot believe it was our first time here! We have been missing out. We had the banana bread French toast, kielbasa and a chocolate chip mickey mouse pancake. Everything was very good and the portions were huge. That banana bread French toast is dream worthy and the kielbasa was also very good. The prices are good and the service was great and fast. The parking lot is tiny and I think there were only 5 or 6 booths and then some counter seating - not the place to go with a group bigger than 4.

Daniella M.

Yelp
My family and I tried this place for the first time the other day and we will 100% be going back! The inside is so cute and welcoming. It did take a little while to get the food but they were pretty busy. The food was excellent!! Amazing! I got corn beef hash with eggs and a side of baked beans! The corn beef hash was so flavorful and well seasoned. The baked beans were out of this world. My husband ordered the pancakes, they were the best pancakes we've ever had and we've gone to a lot of breakfast places. My mother in law got the steak and eggs and my god was the steak was so juicy and full of flavor!

Michael B.

Yelp
Everything was as you'd want it in a classic American diner , the people the wait staff the atmosphere and hell yes the food was sooo gooood

Elbert D.

Yelp
I came here cause I was in the area of Worcester for a funeral and I can say that the food was delicious If u love a nice home cooked breakfast this is the place for u

Nancy K.

Yelp
Miss Worcester Diner is a traditional, old-school diner with a menu to match. The food isn't fancy, but we've been a couple of times now and on each visit we found the food we ordered was cooked exactly right - everything we tried was delicious! Tip: If all you've got with you is credit cards, then you'll need to come here another time, as all payment is strictly cash-only The interior is a bit cramped, and there's not a lot of parking available, but if you can look past these minor drawbacks I'm confident you'll have a great dining experience here!

Brian H.

Yelp
Great place for breakfast. Unusual and fancy types of platters and your standard fair.

Tramy T.

Yelp
I used to really enjoy food here. Prices have recently increased due to inflation??? Breakfast was $35 for two omelette. Chicken is precooked and freezer..? Will be checking out jeans place next. My hash brown has too much oil and the chicken was too dry.

MaryBeth C.

Yelp
Miss Worcester works it! Awesome breakfast and lunch options ! Wish I lived closer than Atlanta, GA so I could drop in to try their specials. I and the pastrami and Swiss omelette and tried their cranberry and walnut pancakes both were perfect! Worth the wait/weight! Yumbeauxlicious!

Rosa A.

Yelp
If 10/10 was a diner, this could be it. The diner is located a short distance from a historic train track. From the outside, it looks like a simple food truck but wait till you walk in! It's a quaint little space with counter seating on the left and booths on the right. A constellation of stickers wrap around the whole interior and the warm welcome of the servers makes it even more exciting. I ordered the Banana Bread French toast which was OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious! This was the best French toast I've ever tasted. I had the protein on the side and didn't expect 4 whole sausages! They also cook pancakes and toast at the counter so you get to inhale and see all that goodness as you wait! I can't wait to go back for many more solo brunch dates!

Kim W.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious breakfast! We sat at the counter and watched an incredible amount of food that was made in such a small space. The marbled rye was fantastic as were the home fries! The raisin french toast melted in my mouth with just the right amount of cinnamon and the Omelets were huge and packed with fillings. You have to try this spot, so sorry we don't live in the area!

Anjali O.

Yelp
EXCELLENT food, great portions, price and fast service. Diner ambiance and vibe was classic and lovely.

Will H.

Yelp
I had been coming here for years five years ago, and it was great! Came back on a nostalgia trip and was extremely disappointed. The food prices have doubled in that time, while the service was extremely slow. We went over an hour waiting on our food. We had a whole day planned visiting Worcester and Miss Worcester took way too much time out of our day. I would not recommend this place to anyone who expects to be served food within an hour of ordering it. The blueberry ricotta pancakes tasted barely of blueberry, and they disagreed with me after I said it didn't taste like blueberry. The regular French toast was very dry as well. What happened Miss Worcester! It's so much worse than it used to be.

Jay M.

Yelp
I regularly crave their homemade hash and cheddar French toast, knowing I can only eat about three bites and save the rest for later!

Alex A.

Yelp
miss worcester is the BEST breakfast spot in town! i love the look and feel of the inside - there are a lot of stickers on the walls and roof. it is truly a sight if you get to see the owner kim in her element at the grill. the food is always tasty and there are so many options. my favorite is the biscuits and gravy with eggs and my partner loves the greek omelette

Amy Y.

Yelp
Awersome place! If you want a true diner experience this is THE place! Sit at the counter and watch your breakfast be prepared as the chef & servers perform a "delicate dance" in the tiny area. Everything is good but we are partial to the pancakes & French toast (they have their own menu after all!). Definitely not a touristy place, you don't stumble upon it and lots of locals. Crowded on weekends but turns fairly quickly. One of our favorite spots & woman owned!!!

Michael L.

Yelp
Had a homemade cornbeef hash and egg sandwich which was pretty good. Way better than canned hash. Gave it 4 stars because its cash and venmo only. ATM on site but then have to pay ATM fee and your bank may charge you one as well so a breakfast sandwich goes from $7-$8 to $10-$13 before even tipping. If youre going to take Venmo then you might as well accept zelle and cash app or other digital platforms since everyone doesnt use Venmo.

Michael W.

Yelp
This is the best diner in the City of Worcester. Great service, awesome breakfast and the perfect diner vibe!

Scott S.

Yelp
This place is kind of need. I'm pretty sure it's an old rail car that has been converted into a restaurant. I got there around 7AM for breakfast and sat at the bar. I ordered the Pig sandwich on raisin bread. It took a few minutes for the cook to come out to the grill but I wasn't in a rush. The sandwich was huge and stacked with meat. I didn't order any sides and I don't think I could have ate them if I did.

Lynette H.

Yelp
Food was great. Service not so much. Initial interaction with server was pleasant. After that I couldn't even get a refill of our drinks. Not to mention after food came nobody even checked to see how we were doing. First and last time visiting unfortunately

Richard S.

Yelp
Food is wonderful with perfect portions and the service is excellent too. A real gem of a spot. Great vibe. Prices were reasonable given the times of inflicted totalitarian inflation If you walk away from this place dissatisfied, well,,,,you may be a bit hard to please.

Dave C.

Yelp
A true original rail diner from the past! A tradition for many of us who were raised in the greater Worcester area. The positive reviews fully can't capture the amazing surroundings and delicious meals that await you here! You feel like you're on a movie set including favorite rock happy music, playing, stacks of fresh food prepared before your eyes (try the French Toast!), and a wait staff of real pros who are in almost choreographed perpetual motion without a waisted step. If you're near Worcester, try it. You'll never eat anywhere quite like Miss Worcester Diner. Yes. I kinda liked it.

Al C.

Yelp
Was in town for the John Cleese show at the Hanover. We were feeling a bit peckish in the morning, so on a lark we went on a quest for rarefied comestibles which is never easy to find if one can find it at all. And now for something completely different; the Miss Worcester Diner. What an amazing find! I was going to get the Spam, egg and cheese but that's not quite enough Spam, so I got the Spam, Spam, Spam eggs, home fries & toast. The Mrs. got the crunchy french toast which looked amazing and tasted equally as good. The side of home made Hash was as good as it gets. Front of house is run by ( think) a mom and daughter who were awesome. If we are ever in town again, it's not to be missed. Next time I'll bring a small interesting sticker to give them. Wink wink, nudge nudge...

Sean S.

Yelp
One of the best breakfast diners I have been too. The old school style setup is so cool and unique, would highly recommend!

Todd P.

Yelp
I don't give out five stars easily, but our visit to Miss Worcester was deserving. We were in town and looking for a local breakfast spot and this did not disappoint. My wife and I both had the Big Daddy. She upgraded to the banana bread French toast (per a staff recommendation) and I upgraded to the apple/pecan/caramel French toast. It all was excellent. It is a small spot with limited seating. But, it also has a lot of ambience with history plastered all over the walls. We timed it well and only had to wait five minutes for a seat, but know the wait could be a lot longer (there was a sizable line when we left). We got seats at the counter right across from grill and it was fun to watch the chef work the orders and create his dishes. The staff was very polite and responsive. We would definitely visit again if we are in the area.

Babs B.

Yelp
We had a delicious breakfast at this super cute dinner. Service was amazing!! Kelsey was adorable. My daughter had the oreo stuffed French toast and it was so beautiful and she said it was the best french toast she has ever had. Highly recommend this dinner... great vibe!!

Uche N.

Yelp
Wow amazing!! I heard about this place 2y ago and I was also told that the line / wait was so long it was no point. I ended up going early*ish (8a?) on a Sunday and there was no wait! I tried again around 11a on a Sunday and it was about a 10-15m wait. This is worth a much long wait. The food is spectacular, pretty large portions. This portion is the 2 French toast so now I only get one haha. The food came out quickly the restaurant is designed quirky with a lot of stickers but not loud at all. Great vibes with booth and counter. Also pretty warm inside. 10/10 staff everyone was kind. This is cash only or venmo.

Corey C.

Yelp
Lived in Worcester since 2008 and just finally checked this place out!! Omg yum!!!! We went for a late breakfast (11:30am). There was still a 15-20 min wait. And we had to wait a little bit for the food. But it was worth the wait. I don't think I'd go during busy breakfast time but I'd def go again for a later breakfast. We sat at the counter and got to watch the cook make everyone's food. She was amazing and fast. My bf got the big daddy with a crunchy French toast. I got the Big Mac omelette. I forgot to take a picture of my bf's food but it was massive. The crunchy French toast was yummy as I did try a couple bites. The Big Mac was MASSIVE and filling. It literally tastes like a Big Mac!!! I really liked the potatoes as well. I didn't even finish everything there was just so much. I'll def be back again!

Curt H.

Yelp
Don't judge a book by it cover- worn frayed cover but outstanding breakfast and overly enjoyable service - two warm sisters relaying ongoing comments and singing to Alexa - fun time with great coffee to enjoy the surroundings FOOD I had way too much food Homemade corn beef hash - maybe the best I ever had - some is too salty but this was perfectly seasoned with potatoes and peppers Two types of FT- crunchy and banana bread Banana bread was good but Crunchy and corn beef hash was a gift from heaven- breakfast gods rejoice My wife loved her Greek omelet- she originally refused to go in after we rolled up to diner - again donor judge a book from its surrounding SO GOOD

Steph W.

Yelp
Food is just as I remember from when I was in college almost a decade ago (ew I said it out loud). The inside is less biker bar which is kinda disappointing but the food is worth it. The current bus boy works his ass off and deserves a raise, we saw him more than our own waitress that looked less than pleased to serve us.

Gwendolyn P.

Yelp
Hit this up on the way back from Boston and it was a great experience with great service and quality food.

Kelly Z.

Yelp
OH MY GOODNESS! LOOK HOW CUTE THIS MICKEY PANCAKE IS! It's from the kids menu but look at how big it is! It filled me up and it was super yummy! This diner is small but has lots of options! Whether you want a light breakfast or a hearty meal, they got it at the right price! Super friendly staff, only wish that they had a bigger place!

Leanne M.

Yelp
This place is AMAZING! Cool vibe, staff treats you like family, and food is unbelievable. This spot has been a staple for me since moving to the city. I LOVEEEE Miss Worcester

Tiffany B.

Yelp
This is definitely the BEST diner in Worcester and my favorite diner! The place is small but so cute, I love all of the stickers and there is always a good energy there from the servers to the customers. It is definitely always pretty busy but always worth the wait :) The food is amazing - the banana bread french toast is a staple! I get it every single time I go. Definitely check it out :)

Ronald P.

Yelp
The service is always nice, I sometimes have to wait a while to get in because it's the best in Worcester but they have tons of options! I mentioned that I have celiacs disease and cant have any gluten to the waitress, she was really nice and offered gluten free toast. My family loves all the special French toast and pancakes, I had a really great omelette . This restaurant takes my allergies seriously, I never have gotten sick from a gluten allergy here. I have gotten ill from a few other places in Worcester that claimed they could do gluten free. It's the only place I go in Worcester for breakfast The food was great

Dan L.

Yelp
Excellent food and really generous portions. As a Worcester native, I had not gotten around to visiting the Miss Worcester Diner until I went back on vacation recently. I highly recommend it.

Caleb R.

Yelp
Such a unique and highly sought after diner! Loved the stickers that lined the ceiling and all of the fun pictures to look at. The service was excellent and it was amazing to be able to see the staff work their magic right in front of you! The food was perfect and the portions were large - a great way to spend the morning.

Dan B.

Yelp
Fantastic old school diner with stools and booths. Friendly, efficient staff. Ordered the Irish Breakfast, homemade corned beef hash, potatoes, wheat toast, coffee and two eggs perfectly fried over easy by the hot cook. Locals spot. HIGHLY recommend!

Robin R.

Yelp
Five stars for breakfast and lunch !!! I have always been embraced by the staff and "regulars". If you visit, you will feel like you belong here, too....

Le M.

Yelp
so so so good. fun atmosphere and great stuffed french toast. so many types. great service, attentive and quick. come asap, there can be a line out the door.

Frances A.

Yelp
The Crunchy French Toast and Stuffed strawberry cheesecake French Toast were amazing. Best breakfast we had while on vacation.

Renee J.

Yelp
We were visiting and decided to stop by this place looked very popular on Yelp. The place was nice with an old diner vibe. The food on the other hand was ok but we were given moldy sour cream in a 2 oz to go container served along with a breakfast burrito. When we politely asked our server to exchange it for a new one we did so quietly. Our server walked away and very loudly proclaimed that it wasn't moldy even though the rim of the container was fuzzy and green. She replaced the sour cream with a non moldy 2 oz container. Perhaps it was just today but she handled that poorly. Also I had pancakes with strawberries that were macerated but the color and taste were off, as a chef I know what old macerated strawberries looked like and these were about to start fermenting.

Beth W.

Yelp
Ever since I saw this place on Food Network, I've been wanting to try it. I was thrilled. I went for the crunchy French toast, since it's so unique to this place. It was delicious, served with a caramel drizzle and cinnamon sugar dusted whipped cream. He had a sausage and cheese omelet and the homemade corned beef hash. It had two kinds of cheese and He said the omelet was the best he's ever had. The hash was wonderful. All portions were huge, so be prepared!

Mr F.

Yelp
So I was looking for a place to eat this morning and someone recommended miss Worcester diner and I'm gonna say the food was on point the cook that they had there was cranking food out like nobody's business, the food was amazing there's lots of culture This diner has been open since 1941 so it's been here for a minute highly recommended..........it's in the cut in the hood but I would definitely recommend it great food

Jazmine B.

Yelp
The line to get into the diner may be intimidating but I promise you it is worth the wait! They have a quick turnover for their tables. Despite being extremely busy with only 2 servers the staff is extremely friendly and very laid back. When sitting at the counter you can enjoy watching one of the cooks prepare food and watch the quality put into every dish. I highly would recommend this location for breakfast, I have not tried their lunch options but may return for lunch in the near future. Attached is the Carmel Apple walnut cream cheese stuffed and it was delicious! Not posted is the 3 meat Benedict which came with ham sausage and bacon atop englishmuffina smothered in Benny sauce. Also thanks he loaded potato omelette with peppers, potato and bacon which has a photo worthy cheese pull when cutting a slice.

Hank P.

Yelp
Cool little diner with an interesting menu. Eclectic and small but tables turn over fast. Sit at the counter and watch a remarkably efficient chef prepare plates. Fun and memorable
