I attended the 65th St. Louis Baseball Writers diner with my daughter. The staff was top notch and went out of their way to accommodate anything you needed. The food was excellent and how you can serve over thee hundred people a steak with in 10 minutes of one another I will never know. The MAC is a historically beautiful building which has been well maintained with all of the modern convenience one would need. I would highly recommend the MAC for any event you have in the future.

Beautiful old building and hotel. Parking right by the hotel $25. Right where we wanted to be. Be aware getting off the interstate and to the hotel can be delayed by traffic for The Dome. This is a historic building with wonderful architecture. The rooms are not modern, but they are clean and comfortable. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

This place is older but charming. Check in was good and receptionist was warm. Room was tiny but adequate. Bed was comfortable. Arrived for a convention and first time in Missouri.|First I have to say thank you Lois for loan of the umbrellas when It rained. Thank you Ricky and Kaya for the service at the restuarant. Enjoyed the conversation. My only issue with this place was that my room was not cleaned on two occasions. I allowed the first time to pass, but it would seem that I was to endure another non cleaning. I had to call downstairs, twice to have it cleaned. First time was that the hotel was full so she couldnt get to my room. Other time, I think she just inferred it was ok to bypass because she was excused the first time. Either way, I insisted and eventually she did come back to clean the room. Thank you to the tall gentleman, who handed out bottles of cold water in the lobby to my partner and I . Much appreciated. |Overall, not a bad place. Definately would stay there, next time Im in Missouri.

Parking was a little confusing because there’s a large lot right behind the hotel but I had to move my car to a building to the side after check in and it was an unexpected expense, but the hotel, location, room and bar are all great. It was a bit disconcerting to realize everyone in the bar already knew each other because they’re actually club members rather than guests, but I guess the name of the place should have tipped me off to that.

We went here for a weekend getaway with my daughter for here birthday. Totally love this hotel. From the moment we walked in and saw the decor we loved it. The check in process was smooth and they were very helpful with suggestions on what to do nearby. Luckily there was a baseball game that weekend and they lacks on the dress code as I didn't have a collard shirt. I would certainly stay here again.

Came here in November for a concert. Stayed 1 night. The room was old. No problem with the age, but it had a small to it. Had to keep the window opened. When I got there, the lady at the front desk got upset with me because I have my Afghanistan Veteran hat on. She got an attitude and said “no hats in the lobby you were made aware of this rule when you booked”. I stated I was not aware as I booked online. Needless to say I forgot when I was leaving and again was given an attitude for wearing my hat. I may stay here again because the price was decent and the location to downtown and sights we wanted to see. But Customer service needs some training.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here. The personal has always been great. Never a problem with service. I love the lobby. Location is a little tough if you're from out of town like myself, once you get the hang of the traffic it's do able. The sad thing is that it's not disability friendly. The last time I stayed was a few years back. My mobility was a little better. Although I did have issues back then, the rest of my experience was so good I had forgotten the negatives. This time, it was even more difficult. The rooms are not wheelchair friendly. Especially the bathrooms. You have to step up to get into them. They did provide a ramp to get into the bathroom. But now the door is blocked, and you can't get out. The toilet are for children. I'm a grown man, with bum legs. It was like sitting on the floor. Those are just a couple of the issues. There is nothing outstanding to override those issues. So has much as I love their beautiful lobby. Sadly, I'll never return.

Hotel rich in history, the rooms are not very large and there are not all the comforts but it is really characteristic. If you stay here you will feel like you have been projected back 80 years in some old American film. It's worth staying there at least once. Inexpensive parking.
