Google
Really cool shop, has sort of an army navy surplus vibe, but much, much better. Staff was friendly and helpful. I got a pair of jeans that I’m pretty stoked on.

Just want to give a shout out to the lovely people at Mister Freedom. I had a complicated order request and they could not have been more patient and helpful. Also worth mentioning that the Campus Jacket I ordered (in natural leather) was even more stunning than anticipated. Stellar design no surprise, but construction quality and attention to detail just as impressive. Look forward to visiting the store in person someday… Thank you Mister Freedom!

Google
Really nice selection of mens vintage. They also sell their own high end label, barn jackets, Japanese denim... vintage but of the moment

Google
Fantastic gem of a place. Enoch was really helpful and knowledgeable about all the stuff. Definitely worth a visit if you like vintage/independent brands

Google
$300 white t shirts? I can find white t shirts for $20 at Ross, Leather jackets that cost as much as peoples rent? $90 hats? Ridiculously overpriced. I can find vintage items that aren't batshit crazy overpriced at Jet Rag, Eclectica, even ones down the street from Mister Freedom. I can find vintage leather jackets that don't cost as much as a mortgage payment on eBay and Etsy. I saw you have an Australian Slouch hat that's beat up with no price tag, I bet you'll try to sell it to me for the price of a new car LOL try and take me for a fool. I found better condition slouch hats on eBay for no more than $200. Mister Freedom? More like Mister Debt Slavery, this store is only for trust fund hipsters. GTFOH

Come for the gear, stay for the customer service. While I haven’t made it to the store yet, the online experience is second to none. The guys (in my case, Enoch & John) clearly care about your experience as a consumer and go above and beyond to ensure you’re happy with your purchase. Christophe’s designs are legendary and the quality speaks for itself. Slowly but surely converting my entire wardrobe to Mister Freedom!!

Haven't made it to the store yet. But hands down, the customer service is outstanding! Ordering on the phone is a breeze, everyone is friendly and super helpful. They really go out of their way to take care of all your questions and needs. Ordering online can be tricky, but they make it smooth as possible. Top notched clothing in every little detail you can't find this clothing anywhere else being one of a kind. Bit of a double-edged sword being one of a kind sometimes the clothes are limited runs with limited quantities but honestly that's what makes it special and fun. Sometimes, you just have to bite the bullet and order fast. 10/10 highly recommend MR. Freedom!!! I can't wait to actually visit the store. P.S Thank you for the kind notes in every package.

Google
They carry a pretty great assortment of vintage items, as well as new items under their brand. I will say don't get snarky with a customer asking if you carry something if your website is down. Lowered stars for snark

Yelp
Very cool place! Love the way it is set up and the music was a nice touch! The people there are very friendly and helpful! Although it is pricey, you can tell the clothes are high quality.

Yelp
This is such a unique, gem of a store. It's a fun walkthrough and has an impressive inventory of vintage / vintage-like menswear. Pros: - interesting, rare items - clothing is extremely well made and designed to last as keepsakes - styles from the 40s-80s if you like that aesthetic -staff are extremely knowledgable about the products and very pleasant, it was a real pleasure to work with them Cons: - expensive - limited womenswear (granted, this is primarily a menswear store) - somewhat difficult parking

Yelp
An excellent shopping experience. I went to purchase a leather jacket and jeans. $1500 later I'm walking out with that exactly. The store is expensive but you can see and feel the quality. The staff is excellent. They helped me size my jacket and jeans. Overall the store layout is nice, too bad you can't buy a lot of the stuff on the walls. They have some awesome navy memorabilia.

Yelp
This is an online purchase review... and product review. I purchased the Skivvy tee online and the service was both expedient and prompt. I inquired about my purchase after a couple of days, and received a reply immediately. Unbeknownst to me, the shipment status email had gone to my "junk mail" folder, and that was politely pointed out to me by multiple people from Mister Freedom who each replied. MY BAD. The Skivvy tee is well worth the price, and 100% exactly what I've been searching for, namely that "perfect 1950's-ish Americana white tee." Having tried tees with Mister Freedom, Leftfield NYC, Merz Schwanen, Lady White, and Butterscotch LBC, the Skivvy tee provides the best fit and quality. And that's no hit on the competitors. It just gets it right -- that perfect fit (after first wash) in total length, width (tubular knit) sleeve length and thickness. This shirt feels like it'll last 15-20 years. Kudos Mister Freedom! I'm on my way (online) to purchase two more ...

Yelp
This is a mecca for those of you who enjoy vintage clothing. Mister Freedom not only carries a well-curated collection of NOS and vintage pieces across eras and genres, but they carry their in-house label of meticulously crafted pieces. I call them "New-Vintage" because of the attention to detail in the design and the quality of construction. I forget the name of the shopkeeper (I think his name was John), but he was really pleasant to talk to. He walked me through some of his favorite vintage pieces and let me try on the Roadchamp (Engineer Boots) that I hope to one day own. This place is a must-visit if you are in LA!

Yelp
I finally had the opportunity to visit the Mr. freedom store in person today. What a fantastic experience. Not only are the products exciting and unique, but the personnel are knowledgeable, helpful, and an absolute pleasure to talk with and share feedback on various trends and attire. You can quickly tell that they have a passion for their product and for sharing their creativity and ideas with their customers. Take your time in this store. There's amazing things to see and try. When I arrived home with my purchases, I finally got a moment to really take in the details and artistry that went into the design. From the buttons to the texture style and fit, this is quality and craftsmanship you don't find everyday. I'll be back! Thanks to Peter and John for sharing their time and style ideas!!

Yelp
Probably one of my all-time favorite stores to browse. Awesome repro garments from the brand as well as a mind-blowing collection of vintage goods. They even have Japanese clothing from the 1800s!!! I also love the fade samples of many of the new pieces so that you can preview how your purchase will age. Staff is extremely attentive and their outfits are so dope. Definitely worth a visit if you have even a remote interest in vintage/reproduction workwear!

Yelp
How do I even explain how much I love this store, just wish it was in SF! It's a mix of old and new, perfectly curated. They have the most amazing style of clothes, plus they have great vintage pieces. Their stuff is pretty unisex, and fits like a glove.

Yelp
With the help of Mister Freedom, you can dress for exciting occasions such as these: The Pacific Theater Japanese internment camps The California Gold Rush Building the Transcontinental Railroad And more! Some of their items are reasonably priced, some puzzlingly astronomical. The only thing I was really interested in were the Levi's 501s, which they have both new and vintage. Unfortunately, none of the former were available in the right pre-shrink size, and none of the latter had faded in a particularly beautiful way.

Yelp
Worth 5 stars if only for inspiration. What a selection of vintage military and denim. Just about as expensive as vintage gets, but deservedly so, by and large. Lots of museum pieces in here.

Yelp
The imaginarium of Mister Freedom! This is a place you have to step into to fully appreciate: vintage garb next to original, new, vintage-inspired Mister Freedom wear; awesome designs and wall decorations; great customer service and advice from the staff. This is the place where you will find unique wear that requires a little bit of your attention, but will repay you many times over in terms of looks and personality. Sure, the items are on the pricier side; but consider this: would you rather buy something unique that will make you stand out and will last for years to come; or would you rather buy something cheaper that won't last and then replace it every year or couple of years (as fads dictate). If you'd rather blend in with the lemmings, then this may not be your store. But if you appreciate quality and something special, this is the place to explore. Many of the items in the store come "raw" (unwashed), and will shrink to size (so much more environmentally friendly, plus you get to make the shirts and pants your own as you break them in, rather than look like almost everyone else with the same artifically faded look). If you're not sure about your "raw" size, the staff (Tom and Cristian) are happy to assist. I stumbled across Mister Freedom online, contacted customer support (Cristian), and after a couple of e-mail exchanges re sizing, I felt confident to place my order; when it arrived, everything fit perfectly. (I'm 6.3, 200 lbs, and in most Mister Freedom shirts I'm a size XL, except for the Ts and Sportsman collection in which I'm a size L.) On a recent trip to LA, I had to check out the brick and mortar experience of Mister Freedom. What a treat--not to be missed!

Yelp
Decent resource for selvedge jeans in Los Angeles which is fairly under-represented in this town IMO. I was however disappointed that there wasn't more Mister Freedom original jeans here. Or maybe I was just looking on the wrong racks. It seems to me this place keeps getting either 1 star or 5 and I would chalk that up to varying expectations of what this store is supposed to be. For me I was looking for selvedge jeans and yeah they had em, but it wasn't exactly the secret cornucopia I was hoping for (thus 3 stars for me). As for the prices being high, yeah, well that's to be expected. I certainly wouldn't pay $69 for a Mister Freedom t-shirt but $288 for a nice pair of selvedge, well that seems reasonable. (I can't believe I just said that nearly 300 dollars for a pair of jeans is reasonable, oh man this town is getting to me, haha.) Anyways, I loved the store, had a great decor and a very specific look to it, it is worth checking it out at a minimum to see their vintage Triumph and Suzuki motorcycles.

Yelp
If you wear selvedge denim & classic americana work-wear then Mister Freedom is a must. Handmade & second to none!

Yelp
Mister Freedom is like a museum--although don't bust out your phone or camera because photography is not allowed. There is an admirable collection of vintage clothing and shoes, and the shop is lined with vintage t-shirts and Americana memorabilia. About a fourth of the store is dedicated to their line of denim, shirts, and boots. The hubby went on a shopping spree and bought a pair of jeans, another pair of pants, and a chambray shirt. The prices are by no means cheap, but each piece is made in the US and with high quality material and craftsmanship. They make some of the products at this particular shop, but I think the majority of their line is made off-site. The guys there are friendly and helpful, but not too intrusive. It's definitely a must-visit store for men with discerning taste for vintage, classic American style.

Yelp
Tremendous one-of-a-kind clothing store. Every item is unique and of the highest quality. I own 3 of their jackets and they are among my all-time favorites.

Yelp
The best place to shop, but be ready to spend a fortune for anything that you may like.

Yelp
This place is amazing for all you denim heads and vintage enthusiasts out there! If you are all about your A.P.C's or Diors, this place will give you a different take on what true vintage regalia really is. They have an enormous selection of vintage Levis, deadstock items and exclusive items such as the owner's very own chambray shirt! Not to mention, the workers are extremely friendly and didn't seem to mind when I was picking their brain on raw selvage denim and the like! Many people have caught on to the luster that this company brings such as J.Crew so I won't speak too much b/c much of the info can be found online. If you are in the area, this place is definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Mister Freedom offers a host of found objects. Previously cherished tee shirts have been reinvented to become something sleeker and modern. Men, women and children can find something suitable for their nostalgic tastes. Mister Freedom also sells some vintage books, cowboy boots and jeans. I like it. I found the experience quite pleasant. The prices vary though. Don't be surprised if you find a one hundred dollar tee shirt next to a thirty dollar tee shirt.

Yelp
This store is amazing! If you are looking for top of the line dry goods, look no further. The quality and craftsmanship of the clothing here speaks for itself. If you don't know, you better get a clue! The majority of the stuff is made right here in the USA too! You cannot go wrong here at Mister Freedom. The thing I like most is the staff. The employees are really nice and down to earth. They don't have that stuffy, I'm better than you feel like you get at most of the stores up here in LA. I will continue to be a customer here for years to come!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this on accident, the employee was SO gracious & welcoming I would go back even though it's not my style. Reminded me of Little House On the Prairie & they are $$$$!

Yelp
This store is awesome! I come here with my bf, who loves their mister freedom/sugar cane collaboration collection. I love just walking around the store and looking at all their super old japanese clothing pieces. Lots of stuff you won't find anywhere else.

Yelp
The best men's store in LA. It also has an amazing selection of Vintage Clothing for men and women. It is a must see store, also has a beautiful website! www.misterfreedom.com

Yelp
Mister Freedom is an amazing Vintage store. Christophe is an extremely talented man and his line is amazing. If you ever in l.a. you can't not stop by. I promise you wont be disappointed.
