Went there for the seafood buffet, everything was great except the crab. Very tasty oysters, warm dishes, and desserts. Staffs are friendly.

Stopped for a mid day drink and charcuterie board. Super friendly staff, great seating with fabulous views. The only thing that I wasn't keen on was the French music.

Google
The most wonderful julbord in Stockholm! Superfriendly welcoming service, excellent food and very beautifully decorated! 2nd year in a row and we will for sure be back again next December…Simply perfect!

So many places tho have Swedish meatballs … but not many with this view. The salad buffet is a great starter for lunch too and the service is friendly!

Named after the butler in "Family Affair". Everything was terrific, but the location was outstanding.

Tasty food and a pleasant atmosphere — a lovely experience!

This is by far my most favorite restaurant in Stockholm for lunch. The view, the food, and the interior was superb. I traveled all the way from the Philippines and I felt the hospitality of the staff. The best! :)

Terrible food. Shrimp were tasteless and like eating chewing gum. Salad was completely ruined by too much dressing. Service was indifferent and borderline bad. Nice location and interior though.

Yelp
Not worth a restaurant visit if you like good food. Old ingredients with disastrous cooking. Salmon tartare that was old and thrown away like a sticky pile, without the slightest finesse for serving, with extra spices so as not to taste old. Snails so badly cooked that they are not even good for pig food. Beef tartare that can't even be called by name, and a disintegrated artichoke that was inedible. Nice service staff, who tried to keep a smile, despite awareness of the bad food. Wait staff who didn't even have work clothes, but their own collected and odd, in black. All so that the first glance can attract and hide the stockwners' attempt for "quick money". The location by the quay is beautiful, and the bar has nice furniture but a bit "tacky" decor. The only thing that tasted okay, as the drinks were extremely poorly made, were the freshly made fries bought at the bar. We left after appetizers and will never return.

Yelp
We came here as a group and enjoyed a private room in the back. Everyone enjoyed the food and the views. The fish and steak were very good.

Yelp
Enjoyed the brunch on a sunny Sunday. For 399kr/pp one gets to enjoy a generous seafood and meat buffet complemented with a selection of salads. The sea food buffet consisted of clams, smoked and regular shrimps, oysters, salmon sashimi, calamaris and a less impressive ceviche. Meat wise, cold crust steak, ribs and sausages were offered. While the protein was plentiful and of very high standard, the salads did not impress. They were not very flavorful despite creative composition. If one would eventually like to eat more, waffles and sweets were offered as desert. The waffles did not get crispy. The berry compote was very nice. Drinks and coffeare not included in the buffet price.

Yelp
The location is prime, and selections of the food are amazing. We _highly_ recommmend the moules frites and the steak taretare. Enjoy views of the water and chill out here till well past sundown!

Yelp
Oh-la-la Mister French you surprise me in a good way! Had a premier experience at Mister French for dinner tonight. Everything was perfect: service, ambiance and food. When we arrived the hostess gave us a warm welcome and took my coat. The friendly server recommended the drink of the night - a cognac and citrus drink with champagne which I ordered and absolutely loved loved loved! Soooo good and I am already trying to come up with an excuse to go here soon again just to have that drink. To start with I had the 'sooted beef' (sotad biff) thinly sliced and served on a wooden plank with vinegar mayonnais, fried capers, cucumber, red onion and yellow beets. The dish was beautiful to look at and perfectly combined in terms of taste and textures. Never wanted it to end. As a main course I had ordered their French shellfish and fish stew and it was prepared to perfection. The fish was cooked just right and not overcooked which is more common than not when you order fish soups or stews in restaurants in Stockholm. The piece of bread served to the stew was the best bread I have had in months and it tasted like a baguette straight from Paris. The waiter topped off our glasses of wine and made sure we were happy at every moment. I am super impressed by all the staff this evening - wonderful service all way through! The interior of Mister French has a slight nautic feel with brass, ropes and dark woods combined with a rustic and romantic touch from past times. It is easy to feel at home here and with great views of Skeppsholmen, Södermalm and Stockholm's harbour Mister French's combination of location and interior design is hard to beat. À bientôt Mister French, je t'adore!

Yelp
Been here a couple of times now and gonna summarize my opinions. First of all, location is premium right next to the water with a great view over Stockholm, to pity they cant capitalize sun during evenings since it disappear behind Gamla stan. Food was great, had the "Grillplatå" which offered 3 different kind of meat, from 3 different countries. Served with fries, green salad and sauce. Meat was cooked as it should and it was a lot of flavor. The dish is supposed to be shared by two ppl, and thats no problem since its a lot of it. Although one suggestion is that the sauce should be served in a bigger cup since the present is very small. Also been here having a few drinks sitting outside in their lounge sofas or chairs. If you come there quite early you can probably get a nice spot in the sun. If you only here for a few drinks and no food, you are asked to go order in the bar. Which is fine, as long as there is an sufficient way of doing it, unfortunately there isnt. Even when bar is half full or less than that, service is very slow in the bar. There is a lot of advanced cocktails served and of course this takes a while. But i still doesnt get that feeling that the bartenders are walking that extra mile. And that is probably Mr French's biggest issue atm. Fix that, and the three cornestones food, service, location, will make you a star to remember.

Yelp
I´m only reviewing the Sunday brunch buffet here (360 Kr). I liked it! It offers a limited variety of dishes but they are all good and fresh, especially the fish: smoked shrimp, oysters, crab, salmon. The salads were good too. The dessert part lacks a bit of inspiration but all in all I was happy with Mr French.

Yelp
I've been to Mr. French for a 'julbord' yesterday. What an amazing, cosy atmosphere!!! They even have a fire at the entrance. The buffet looked meticulous and fresh. The crew were very friendly and helpful. I haven't really eaten much as we were there at 4pm and didn't wanna play the Gluten detective. Overall very positive experience and definitely wanna try this restaurant in the future when the Xmas craze is over.

Yelp
Can't comment on the food part but as a bar it's pretty nice! Quite a large area for sitting or standing outside, a section with all the trendy sounds to dance to, and a fairly large bar as well. Not sure you want to come here with bad weather for the open air bar part but on a nice Summer night it's pretty busy. Fun, fun. Good place to come with some friends for sure.

Yelp
Extremely unfriendly. Price/quality ratio is not reasonable at all. On my question "could we have some bread I ve got answer - No, it's only for lunch"... I guess it's crazy. The restaurant was almost empty but we they did not get us the table where we wanted to have a seat. So, do not recommend to go there .

Yelp
Nice, hip restaurant by the seaside. Mainly a young crowd, soaking up the sun and enjoying the bright evenings and nights. Fishlovers will definitely enjoy the fresh gifts coming from the sea. I can recommend the Lemon Sole Confit: tender white fish with lots of flavor - mainly coming from the delicious artishoces and garlic...lots of it! ;)

Yelp
Nice bartenders, a bit loud with the hen party right next to us, but completely fine good for a view and a drink (did not eat, so cannot comment on that) Cheers

Yelp
Meal starts with bread and veggie toppings, very flavorful. Beef Burgandy was delightful. Prices reasonable for Sweden.

Yelp
Very cute outdoor bar along the water front. We went on a cooler evening, so it was nice they had blankets out and heaters. The drinks were good. Bar tenders were nice. We didn't try any food so I cannot review that.

Yelp
I liked this place. We were a big group and everyone enjoyed the food very much. Its a nice atmosphere, you see the food being prepared (at least from our table), which is nice. The only reason im not giving a 5 star rating is because of some minor issues with the service; mainly that it was slow. We waited a very long time before we got our food. At some point in the middle of our dinner we had a waitress that was very polite, cheerful and efficient. As it was my friend's graduation dinner i went to ask the waitress if we could have one of those sparkly things they put in desserts ( as i had seen another table get one- i assume for a birthday) there were two waitresses standing there at the time. One literally gave me a look drenched with attitude (how dare i?!) the other was very polite and professional. Anyways all in all very good, apart from that.

Yelp
We happened to try this place today. Perfect view with the overpriced usual food with rude personal. Very polite welcoming at the door though. We tried steak tartar and wasnt one of the good ones i have tasted before. We were sort of forced by the waiter to take a drink before the dinner and a desert in the end and the second glass of wine; and when we didnt want to order any he was surprised and felt the need of asking again in a disapproving way! I would rather have a drink at the lounge part if i would ever go there again...

Yelp
Been traveling around Europe the past week and had some great meals, but the lamb brochette I had at Mr. French was hands down the best. Friendly waiters, great service, and the bartender even whipped up an impromptu non-alcoholic cocktail for us when we told him we didn't want alcohol but wanted something interesting. The atmosphere is electric and trendy. Even though Stockholm is said to be an expensive city, the prices are comparable to any decent restaurant in most capital cities. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Interesting restaurant located in old town by the water. Great location, good service, and reasonable food. Even though the restaurant was very crowded, we didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food. Fantastic view!

Yelp
Long time waiting for the food. The crab i ordered contained not more than just 15 gr of meat. Prices for calvados were for 10 ml - weird. But the atmosphere and staff were good.

Yelp
love this place. Awesome view on the water, lots of seating.

Yelp
Came for a few drinks. Atmosphere was awesome, very cozy and full bar had great options! Would love to visit in the summer when the outdoor deck is in action.
