Mister Softee’s Trucks Are Back in NYC for 2022

"An iconic soft-serve truck operation founded in Philadelphia in the 1950s that has since become synonymous with summer in New York City; its familiar chimes and roving trucks are treated as a seasonal ritual. My kids are currently crying on the side of the road because your driver drove off whilei was handing her money to buy an ice cream. Yesterday the same guy drive by her without stopping when she had money in her hand waving him down. Would rate 0 stars if I could.

Not sure what’s up with the horrible reviews or if this is the wrong truck (I also posted a photo of a location we went to at Morey’s boardwalk in NJ.) BUT Mister Softee is the best ice cream truck to ever exist and I said what I said. Do yourself a huge favor and get a vanilla cone with rainbow 🌈 sprinkles. ✨ I was stoked I got to try it while visiting PA and NJ my sister kept telling me all about it.

The truck that covers the Levittown area charges 5 bucks for a small cone. When he told us the price he hesitated so I guess they make the price up as they go

Driver comes around way too late most of the time. When he's early and I try to flag him down with my kids, the driver always has his windows closed with earbuds in and his face buried into his phone. Sounds like safe practice when you're driving a vehicle that kids run up to when they see it

Idk how you guys stay in business when your drivers go way too fast and your sirens go off wayyy too soon. How is anyone supposed to catch up if you drive down the block like your wife is pregnant. Do better.

15$ for two soft serve waffle cones. Ridiculous. No pricing mentioned on the truck. Ice cream was just ok and cone wasn’t fresh either.cash only.

Prices not shown anywhere $28 for 3 cones of ice cream. Stale toppings. Paid with credit card given no option to tip. Probably tipped themselves. Very shady.
