Tried Mister Wheel Toronto for the first time and it was such a nice experience!🙂 All the staff were very professional, and every wheel cake is freshly made to order. It takes about 5–10 minutes, but definitely worth the wait, nothing beats a wheel cake that’s freshly made 🤤. Unlike other shops that pre-make them and just keep them warm, these taste so much better. I also love the design, each wheel cake is stamped with “Toronto” and local scenery, which makes them look extra pretty and refined. I ordered the pistachio and red bean flavors. Both were tasty, but I personally liked the red bean one more. It has a rich, authentic red bean flavor, and the black sesame on top really brings out the aroma. The pistachio one was good too, just a bit sweeter compared to the red bean. Overall, delicious and beautifully made wheel cakes, I’ll definitely be back! 🤤🤤

Been wanting to try this place and finally had the chance to do so! The place is so cute and the staff were really nice. We ordered the pistachio and custard flavour....and the staff gave us a maple syrup flavour, on the house! All very tasty but I think my favourite was the custard one... it's a classic flavour. The wheel pies are made fresh and usually take about 10-15 minutes but it's worth it. They're also stamped and looks so cute. Can't wait to go back and try other flavours!

Golden, fluffy, and stuffed to the brim — Mister Wheel’s Taiwanese wheel pies are the kind of snack that make you smile before the first bite. Each one is made fresh on the griddle, with fillings that ooze, melt, and surprise in the best way possible. The custard was creamy comfort at its finest, while red bean keeps it classic and satisfying. The grey milk tea and Thai milk tea brought a fragrant twist, and the taro was as smooth and dreamy as it looked. The matcha with mochi was a textural win: soft, chewy, and earthy all at once, while pistachio and black sesame delivered nutty richness that lingers. And the maple syrup? A sweet nod to Canada in true Torontonian style! Every pie is a warm little hug, handheld and perfect for on-the-go indulgence. With so many flavors to choose from (and seasonal specials that keep popping up), Mister Wheel is the spot to satisfy both comfort cravings and adventurous taste buds. Mister Wheel isn’t just dessert — it’s a full lineup of flavors waiting to be tried one pie at a time. Sweetly recommended! We ordered online because they had qr codes posted throughout thinking it'd be easier than going to the cashier. But after a while we realized that it was the wrong move as people who paid at the cash got their order quicker than we did. We ended up waiting longer than 30 minutes for our order which was only 4 wheel cakes. It was a really long wait for something so small, and I felt that their "scan here to order" stickers were pretty misleading. That said, the food was pretty tasty and everything was fresh and made to order. Maybe I'll come back but I definitely will order at the cash next time.

It’s a bit of a wait since they are made to order. But these wheels are worth it! Not too sweet with so many flavours to choose from, these are the perfect mid day sweet treat. Excited to try the other flavours next! Pictured are the custard and red bean wheels

Recommend trying all the flavours and eat while it’s hot. The waffle isn’t too sweet and the fillings are made just right. There isn’t a lot of seating but keep in mind it’s shared space with other food vendors. If you can do take out instead.

Taiwan Wheel Pies - finally something new inside Upper East Food Hall and the hype is real! Hot, fluffy Taiwan Wheel Pies are your new go-to here! ▶️We got takeout because there were many people lining up and we did not want to block or disturb the vendors since the food hall is shared with different vendors, the seats are limited. ❗ If you have nut allergy, please inform their staff before ordering. Some of these have nuts inside or at the bottom of the pies. It also says on their menu but in smaller writing. ▶️The wheel pies we tried: (Custard,Taro, Thai Milk Tea, Pistachio, Earl Grey, Sesame) were when ordered, they all tasted & smelled delicious 😋! So far we've only tried their sweet flavours because the savoury ones were not available yet. But can't wait to try when they're available! I highly recommend ordering in advance to avoid and come back to pickup when the order is ready.

I came here and ordered the Thai milk tea, chocolate, and black sesame. My friend got the matcha with mochi. Everything is made on the spot and you can see them make your order. It was kinda of busy so we had to wait around 15 minutes. The Thai milk tea was really good. Had a strong milk tea flavor. The chocolate was okay. It tasted like those instant hot chocolate packs you get at grocery stores. The black sesame had a strong sesame flavor and not really sweet. So if you prefer your black sesame on the sweeter side, you should probably skip this one. The matcha with mochi is good. Really good matcha flavor but because everything is pretty soft, you don't really taste the mochi. Overall a good experience and the staff was super nice and friendly.

Yelp
If you like the hk style 雞蛋仔, then you'd love this! All items are made fresh to order, and you can choose your choice of filling. The price of this mister wheel snack starts from $3.99 for those custard option and goes up from there. These mister wheel snack is about a size of a kid's palm, but it's filled a generous portion of filling. It's located inside a building with shared vendors. The seating area is bright and clean, and just a short walk from both North York Centre or Finch Station.

Yelp
Newly opened spot serving Taiwanese wheel pies. I got the sweet custard pie. The pie was nice and flakey with a nice sweet custard filling. There was some seating available indoors with other shops including bubble tea and ice cream, so a convenient place to get all your snacks. They revamped the interior for the shops so the ambiance is more of the modern cafe with Asian theme. The prepare the wheels fresh so make sure you let it rest a bit before diving in!

Yelp
The cake is on less sweet side which is nice for Asian. The cake is at the right size and filled with lots of tasty filling. Since the cake is made to order, the wait is 15-20 minutes. But the wait is totally worth it.

Yelp
I Love the wheel cakes here! I came and had the buy 4 get 1 free deal. I tried the taro, black sesame, earl grey milk tea wheel pies. It took around 15 minutes for it to be made. So it was quite fresh and smelt so delicious! I also liked that the filling was not too sweet. The shop Was inside shared with two other business like machi machi. Lovely space..

Yelp
I can't say I was super familiar with Taiwanese wheel pies before arriving at Mister Wheel, but I've enjoyed similar Asian desserts before, so I was excited to check the place out. The shop is located within a mini food court on Yonge Street and wasn't too busy when we showed up. We decided to try a couple of their wheels, the Red Bean and the Custard, and were told the wait would be about 15 minutes. These things are totally worth the wait. The filling in each was just right in terms of sweetness and flavor, while the outside was cooked perfectly and enhanced the whole thing considerably. Consider me a Taiwanese wheel pie fan for life now.

Yelp
Located inside a mini food hall style spot in North York. There was a huge wait for this on a weekend but the pinwheels came out pretty quickly after order. Got a few to try: Custard 4/5 Matcha with mochi 4/5 Earl grey milk tea 4/5 Taro 4/5 Overall, I thought these were pretty good and really cute to look at with their prints on the top. A good midday snack and definitely should check it out if you're in the area.

Yelp
Came for dessert after lunch. The stall was located inside a mini food court with multiple other stalls and the surrounding was quite cute and quiet. They sell Taiwanese filled pancakes with different flavors/fillings. We ended up getting the black sesame and Thai milk tea filling. They were made to order so we had to wait and they came out piping fresh! The pancakes were stamped with the Toronto skyline and I thought they looked incredible! Now onto the pancakes themselves. Let's just say they definitely look better than they tasted lol. I liked the black sesame flavor more because it had a very strong black sesame flavor and wasn't too sweet. But I am bias since black sesame is my favorite Asian dessert flavor. The Thai milk tea filling was a little too sweet for my liking. But then again Thai milk tea is supposed to be sweet. Unfortunately, the outer shell was a little "chewy" which was disappointing. They were pretty generous with the filling though. Overall: Decent dessert store and definitely enjoyed it. But at 4.49$ each, I thought it was quite pricey and I don't think it's worth it. It was a good one time experience but I probably won't be coming back.

Yelp
Mister Wheel located inside the Upper East Food Club along Yonge St. near Church Ave in Willowdale services up Taiwanese wheel pies. Originally from Taiwan, this small shop just opened in Toronto where we happened to stumble upon their grand opening weekend. They also have a location in Singapore but I believe that this is their first ever North American location. The kiosk shares a space with other businesses in the food hall where they are located in the back right corner. The menu only has wheel pies, which are made to order, as well as drinks. For the wheel pies, they have unique flavours like custard, red bean, taro, matcha w/ mochi, black sesame, chocolate, earl grey, Thai milk tea, pistachio, and even bacon with potato. The wheel pies are made on a special iron device where the flavours are inside the cake like pie. Since it was their grand opening weekend, they didn't have any drinks available...but if you followed them on social media you can get a free custard wheel pie. This promotion is available from Aug 2 to Aug 14 where 200 free pies are available each day. We ordered at the cashier and she was friendly enough to let us know of the promotion to get another free pie. We purchased 2 pies (and got a 3rd one for free) where it was about a 10 min wait as the pies were made fresh in front of our eyes. There were some tables we could sit and wait at. Once our order was ready staff called out my number and the pies were still hot and fresh in their packaging. I had the pistachio wheel pie which was delicious! The cake like pie was nice and warm while the inside was filled with a pistachio like custard filling which was gooey. My husband mentioned that the custard one he had was delicious as well. Overall, great new addition to the neighbourhood for Taiwanese wheel pies. A perfect snack or dessert (not sweet at all!). Would be curious to try their drinks once they're available!

Yelp
This is the first Mister Wheel in Toronto. Famous in Taiwan they specialize in what could be best described as filled 'pancakes' that are shaped like wheels. Fillings come in a variety of options and when you order it will take up to 15 minutes for the cakes to be prepared, longer if they are busy. Pay attention to the filling description as most contain nuts of some form. The space is located in two storefronts that has been turned into a food court. On our visit, Mister Wheel was the busiest. You can order at the cash or online via a barcode. We chose matcha with mochi and chocolate. The verdict? It was okay. The chocolate filling was reminiscent of pudding and the mochi was a little scarce but the matcha had good flavour. Filling was very generous though, when you bite into it the filling oozes out. This makes a nice little treat if you are in the mood for something sweet but don't want anything big or heavy. I liked the way the cakes were stamped with the Toronto skyline. I'm curious enough to want to try other flavours.

Yelp
Tried mister wheel for the first time it was really good. It's a it pricey for 1 order but it was good. Tried the matcha mochi and red bean. Service is okay as we have to wait for the wheel to be cook which is I don't mind coz its fresh. Will come back to try different flavor.
