Mistico Restaurant

Beautiful small restaurant located inside Hotel Abracadabra, with a fantastic panoramic view over downtown Búzios and the beach. The food was delicious and exceptionally well presented. The ribeye steak, ravioli, beef tartare, and scallops were all excellent. The first Caipirinhas we ordered (pineapple and rosemary) were slightly too bitter for our taste, but they were exchanged without any problem for classic Caipirinhas, which were great. The desserts, Black Forest and brioche, were perhaps the highlight of the evening. They looked great and tasted just as good. Service was friendly but somewhat distant, which was a slight pity. Overall, highly recommended with excellent value for money.

Delicious meals, great service (also with regards to allergies), a relaxed atmosphere including subtle live background music and a beautiful view over Buzios. We had two wonderful dinners during our stay in Buzios and hope to come back one day.

Definitely the best dining experience I had during my 4 week stay in Brazil because of the view from the restaurant and the lovely food. I walked in without a reservation, but they were very accomodating, polite and friendly. Highly recommend!

Mistico is located in the beautiful Boutique Hotel named „Abracadabra“. I went there with my girlfriend for a dinner and we tried the tasting menu which was served over seven courses. Well, let me say one thing: if you are in Buzios and do not try this restaurant you missed out. I‘m used to high level restaurants but this one exceeded my expectations by far. The dishes were amazingly prepared, fresh and had this „Wow“ effect everyone seeks to find in today‘s gastronomy. I highly recommend to try the tasting menu which takes around two hours. The view to the sea from the restaurant is as good as the food you will get there! The service was great, made no mistakes and were always on time preparing for the next course. When in Buzios go to this absolute gem! Highly recommend to make a reservation.

What an amazing experience I had in this place! The service was outstanding, the food SO flavorful and the caipirinhas, amazing! It was pouring rain the night I went there for dinner but the view was still wonderful. It's worth every penny :)

Delicious experience! We opted for the chef’s tasting menu and enjoyed every creative bite. The ambiance is gorgeous, sitting right outside with a perfect view of the sunset. Settled in an upscale boutique hotel, Mistico was a great and memorable first dinner in Búzios for us.

Staff where extremely nice. We also got a small free appetiser and chocolate for desert. But honestly the food was so salty and meh given the pricy you are paying. The view is amazing. The home made pasta was good but a little over cooked so was the steak. Drinks were really good

Folks I am a seasoned traveler. This boutique hotel is a gem. The food is the best I have ever experienced - ever! The staff can’t do enough for you. So it’s boutique so don’t be expecting big hotel chain interiors. However it’s spotless, friendly and the food is world class. Staff are all multi lingual. Couldn’t say enough about the place

Just a fantastic experience here at Mistico! The view is stunning, the service was excellent, the food terrific! We especially enjoyed the baked burrata, lemon risotto, and grilled octopus. I was stunned by how great everything here was, would highly recommend to anyone who is in Buzios! Towers above any of the other local restaurants we visited.

Incredible that this place isn't full every night. Astounding views, food and service with prices that are the same or cheaper than the Buzios promenade.

Having a fantastic meal with colleagues at the Mistico. Had the tuna tar tar as my starter. For my main course, I had the grilled fish (red snapper) with vegetables that tasted fresh, balanced, and yummy. The Argentinian Chardonnay was dry, which was perfect for my fish. The atmosphere was also fabulous. The view over the bay through the infinity pool would be wonderfully romantic at sunset. We came a bit late so missed it.

Awesome final honeymoon dinner here, just amazing been eating food here for lunch and pool snacks as it's linked to the hotel where we are staying. So amazing a must visit! The staff are so amazing attentive and just ready to help with recommendations or anything else. Now forgetting the service the view is stunning just absolutely amazing! So great you can see the beaches and the distance a must if you can come for a drink at sunset before dinner that's my top tip! The food is so tasty it does take time but good things come to those who wait. It's amazing the quality of the food especially the seafood it's just so fresh we had the seafood platter, duck and lobster it blew us away certainly the number one it just tasted AMAZING! Really do visit make it your stop for a nice long fancy romantic dinner and do make a reservation as its only small and will cater to hotel Abracadabra guests first!

Gorgeous view of the water, shared an appetizer, fish of the day and dessert as well as bottle of wine. The appetizer was a buffalo mozzeral and tomato dish that was served warm in a casserole dish and was delicious, the fish was fresh and had a nice light sauce, dessert was a chocolate brownie with vanilla nice cream and was amazing. The wine was not that great... Service was fantastic and honestly the view alone is worth going to the restaurant. It is a higher priced restaurant with main fishers around $35 USD.
