It’s amazing. I can highly recommend the tour. It’s stunning. Friendly stuff. The pilot explained gave us a lot of knowledge about the area and wildlife.

We flew from Prince Rupert to Ketchikan with Misty Fjords Air because the AMHS Ferry employees striked. We had a wonderful time on board of this brilliant air plane. The pilot was super friendly and we had an amazing flight over a beautiful landscape. The airplane flew low so we could always see the ground.

We flew out on a trip with Misty Fjords earlier this month, and I can't say enough good things about the whole operation. Everything was top notch including the communication, the planes, the pilot, the flight, and the staff, and the way they really wanted to help my buddy and I have a great trip from start to finish. I recommend them to anyone, and will use them again on my next trip.

We’ve been flying with Misty Fjords Air for over 10 years, and they never disappoint. Each experience has been nothing short of spectacular, offering access to some of the most breathtaking and remote vantage points around Ketchikan. On our most recent flight, the pilot was absolutely phenomenal and professional, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the region. This is one of the best ways to take in the natural beauty of Alaska, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ketchikan. Truly unforgettable!

Fantastic. Dave Jr. was our pilot. He was skilled informative and very nice. We felt totally safe. The view from up there was breath taking.

Comfortable van ride to/from cruise ship docks. Safely flown. (Pricey when booked through Disney Cruise Tours...but you're guaranteed the ship won't leave without you.) Pleasant staff. Unfortunately, disappointed in the actual flight. First, we had a pilot who didn't tell us much about the Misty Fjords. He routed his iPhone music through the headsets (like it or not) and just flew us over the preprogrammed flight route. We had a full plane and several tried asking questions about the terrain features, and he'd answer, but without any embellishment. Just his music playing. While I didn't expect a play-by-play description of each rock and tree, I thought there would be more description about the fjords we paid to tour. If the pilot doesn't want to talk, then at least provide pre-recorded information pax can listen to during flight about the fjords. Second, the plane itself does not have large windows and flies slightly nose high. So you can't see forward well at all, and you have limited visibility through the window next to your seat. You'll need to crane your neck and shift in your seating to look down and out at the fjords and mountains. (The pilot could have slightly raised each wing from time to time so we could see out better, or make gentle S-turns.) Sadly all things considered, I wouldn't do it again or recommend it. It was an expensive, hard to see out, informationally lacking flight tour.

I have been using various float plane operators out of Ketchikan for 20yrs now and Misty Fjords has become my go to place. They are professional, accommodating and fun to fly with.
