Misty Mountain Reserve Lodge and Self Catering Chalets

A rural retreat 20 minutes drive from Stormsriver. We stayed in a lake view tent which was extremely comfortable & private. It was a magical experience as long as you don't mind Monkeys running across your roof in the morning! All the staff were excellent & the service & food superb. For valentine's day they set up an outdoor movie with lovely picnic baskets. There is a tranquil swimming pool with loungers overlooking the ocean. Wou ld highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing time or seeking outdoor adventures.

Misty Mountain Reserve was the first stop of me and my wife's honeymoon just after we got married. We stayed in the Forest Dome for 1 evening and it was absolutely breathtaking. Going to sleep and waking up with a view of the Garden Route forest and having the moonlight shine through the Dome's roof. You could clearly see the canopy of the trees hanging over us! The room was suited with everything you would need. From an air conditioner, electric blankets, a smart television to wifi.||||The service of Misty Mountain Reserve was outstanding and everyone was very kind. Although I would like to point out a few people, I am not going to as all the staff members were excellent in their role!||||The food was top quality and big thanks to their chefs! For anyone visiting Misty Mountain, you will definitely not be disappointed with their food. ||||I am only giving it a 4-star, as we would love to return in the future and stay for longer in one of their other specialty rooms!||||Thank you Misty Mountain Reserve, you guys made our stay very special!

Misty Mountain Reserve exceeded our expectations! The accommodations were comfortable and stylish, blending seamlessly into the natural surroundings. The staff were warm and welcoming. The reserve's stunning environment, with its scenic trails and diverse wildlife, left us in awe. Perfect for a peaceful retreat or nature escape. We can't wait to return!

Stayed in the Jungle Hive. What an incredible experience! Very unique, comfortable, and magical. Up in the treetop canopy with the best view, wow! The hot tub was the highlight. The staff were all great. Good food. Highly recommend!

The experience we had was incredible. Just when we got there, Jairos started a private tour showing the unbelievable energy of the place. I can't put it in words! He's a character haha. After the tour, he showed THE CLOUD (the hive) and OH MY GOODNESS, my wife cried because it was our honeymoon and they had prepared an exclusive package for it. The view was a private show, the hive was really comfortable, modern and provided everything we needed. Mirna, Tisha, Kiki and Monique served us like royalty at dinner and breakfast, the food was good. Finally, when we were checking out we had the pleasure to meet the owner and we understood why all the staff were so well trained. Thank you so much for this LIFE EXPERIENCE, we'll never forget you! We stayed at the Storm Hive, it had an amazing view and was secluded. We loved the hottub! The view from the outdoor shower was magnifique! Make sure, when they give you a tour on check-in, to ask how to dim all the lights so you can enjoy the nightsky from your bed!

Wow wow wow!! Absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in the forest dome and this was a very special and unique experience. We enjoyed every minute. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. Would love to return one day. Thank you misty mountain.
