Mithi Resort and Spa

Beautiful View, But Needs Improvement in Several Areas I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The highlight of my stay was definitely the stunning view – it was absolutely breathtaking and made the whole trip feel worth it. However, there were several areas that left me disappointed. Firstly, the food was a letdown. Breakfast was fine but for their actual meals Despite the beautiful surroundings, the meals lacked flavor and didn’t meet my expectations for the price. The dining experience was underwhelming, and I found myself not looking forward to my meals. Another issue was the services specifically the front desk and spa. Most staff seemed undertrained and inexperienced, lacks proper knowledge. which led to several small but frustrating issues during my stay. For the spa, They weren’t very attentive, and when I had questions, they seemed unsure of how to help. I had better spa treatment that is not as expensive as theirs. Steam room barely had any steam. For the front desk, you could definitely feel their not genuine treatment. Meanwhile, staff from the restaurant, bar and pool and the bellboys were very kind and attentive. To top it off, I felt rushed at check-out. I understand they may have a busy schedule, but it was disappointing to be hurried through the process, especially after a stay that didn't live up to its potential. Imagine being called several times an hour before the actual check out to remind us that we had to go. When they haven’t even brought back our little laundry (only about 4 clothes) that was given to them more than 24hours before. They compensated us with free shuttle service to the airport to make up For it. While the view was magnificent, I hope the hotel takes these areas into consideration and works on improving the guest experience.

Our stay at Mithi Resort & Spa was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed with warm hospitality and seamless check-in. The room was spacious, elegantly designed, and impeccably clean, offering stunning views of the garden and beach. The amenities were top-notch, with a well-equipped fitness center, a relaxing spa, and a beautiful pool area. The food was delicious and we made our 1st wedding anniversary memorable. Highly recommended 💯

Only are at the restaurant with a large party!! Were I only rating the food, I would have given it a 1.. Out of 30 of us, 2 people enjoyed the food. Would never return to eat there again. However, the staff were spot on. They are kind, courteous, and very attentive to our needs. The ambiance was beautiful. We first day in a large gazebo area, overlooking the gardens. We then went to another gazebo area, overlooking the beach, BEAUTIFUL!!! It's a shame they don't put more emphasis on their food...

Very nice and secluded place. If you want a quiet and get away from city vibes, this place is highly recommended. Food is soso. Staff is super kind. Massages are nice, good price. View is amazing! Many swimming pools. Beach right infront. There is also a cave, if you like adventure and not scared of deep dark water, the guide will escort you down. Overall, I had one of the most amazing time there. My friend prefers city modern hotels so she liked it less than me. But, I absolutely enjoyed the remote feeling, felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, other people were there but it really wasn't busy. The staff is very accomodating and I really appreciated their kindness. I will miss Mithi. Will visit again if I go to Bohol again. Highly recommend for couples and families who want quiet get away. Because it is away from city, if you want food you have to get it from their restaurant, which is so so. Also, I loved that they had communal shower and bathroom near the pools which was convenient. You can also get beach towels from there too (as much as you would like)! And the buggie takes you everywhere for free anytime. The buggie comes to your door super fast! I haven't tried it, but you can also do Kayak and snorkeling there too. Cup noodles are recommended, you will want to pack as much as you can. I will miss Mithi! Had such a good time there!Also, if you wanna do laps in the swimming pool, there is a bigger pool by the spa.

Great||Great place, friendly staff, not crowded. Resort exclusive beach front, and cave. Multiple pools, quiet place. Relaxing beach, sand removal faucets before entering resort and rooms. Grab accessible.|||Not so great. ||Checkin took longer than expected. Had to wait for room to be ready. 1 for senior bathroom had soggy floor mat due to shower area having curtain only as separation. Request to make room was not immediately done and staff offerred past 6pm. Only 1 restaurant, but grab delivery works.||We shall return (not in a threatening way)

Nice view from the villa! Nice service and everyone is friendly. Beach is nice but there are too many sea grasses. Massage needs to be booked in advance, so we didn’t not get the experience of it but we will be very interested to try it next time!

Harold, the cart driver, went above and beyond in providing excellent service. He cheerfully and politely transported us from our room to the guard house, even during nighttime. His dedication and positive attitude truly stood out—he deserves recognition and, perhaps, a well-deserved raise.||The staff were equally accommodating, always greeting us warmly whenever we encountered them. The place itself is a haven for nature lovers like me, offering a perfect blend of serenity and natural beauty. Kudos to the entire team for creating such a welcoming and enjoyable experienced.

The facilities and compound are nice, but show their age already|The room was fine. The food was below average and overpriced. The buffet for New Year was loughably bad, but ist 3500 php per person. The staff were friendly and forthcoming. Check-in took long. All in all, the resort should drop prices by half, otherwise it is not worth it.
