We booked a 3-night stay here, and while the room was spacious, it came with a few unexpected downsides. Our first room was located at the back of the property, right in front of ongoing construction. This meant that early mornings were noisy, which we didn’t anticipate. Additionally, the patio/balcony offered a view of nothing but dried leaves and the forest, which didn’t match the expectations we had from the photos. To top it off, we noticed mold on the curtains, so we requested a room change.|The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating and moved us to a new room, but it took nearly the whole day for the transition to happen. The new room had a lovely balcony view, but it was a bit outdated. The air conditioning unit was leaking water, and it was noticeably smaller than the one in the previous room. Despite these issues, we didn’t want to keep moving rooms during our stay, so we decided to stick with it.|The hotel is in a quiet area, and the beach is beautiful and not crowded, which was a big plus. The breakfast buffet was decent, though the selection wasn’t as extensive as we expected for the price. The staff, however, were truly wonderful — attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay.|Overall, while we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the beach, the property didn’t quite meet our expectations considering the price. The construction around the hotel during our visit definitely affected the experience, and the condition of the rooms didn’t match the images we had seen online. Perhaps we just booked at the wrong time, but it’s something to consider if you’re planning your trip.
