First time in Tokyo and this hotel was lovely. The customer service was wonderful, amenities provided, and ease of check in and out. I loved the onsen along with the massage chairs. It was needed after a long day of travel. The breakfast was delicious and such a wide variety of choices. My favorite part of the buffet was seeing the chef make a fresh Japanese style omelette! Any travelers looking for a great stay… look no further!

Mitsui Garden exceeded all of our expectations!!! The rooms were impeccably clean and GORGEOUS. We had the superior suite with comfortable beds that were the perfect way to rest after a long day of walking. The public bath was modern, clean, and even provided amenities for us! EVERY staff member treated us with kindness and respect and were always so helpful. The area is quiet and has several places to eat and shop. 100% RECOMMEND staying here. THANK YOU Mitsui Garden for the best welcome to Japan! 🩷

I stayed here in mid October 2025 and had a great experience. The staff were very helpful, gave great directions and recommendations, and even held my luggage while I took a short trip to Kyoto. The public onsen was very nice and it was my first time trying one. I recommend giving it a try as long as you are respectful of the rules and customs. The hotel has a modern, moody design and feels clean and comfortable. I also liked the amenity bar where you can pick what you need, which is such a nice touch compared to hotels in the United States. The true hidden gem is that the hotel is directly connected to the subway through the Ginza Line. You do not have to go outside at all if it is raining or the weather is bad, which is super convenient. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Tokyo.

Had a wonderful 7 night stay at this hotel. The staff were wonderful, and the location was well connected via subway to major tourist destinations. The room was immaculately clean, one negative was that the size of the room was fine for moving around in but didn’t allow much space for our larger luggage and there was no where to store our clothes aside from hangers in the closet. The Japanese bath was incredible, all toiletries provided and even have full body massage chairs. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Me and my wife stayed in the hotel for 8 nights (1 November to 9 November) for our Honeymoon trip and everything was PERFECT ! The staff were so nice, adorable and always here to help when it was needed. The Superior room with a Queen-Size bed was big enough for us, everything was 100% clean ! Amenities need to be taken as self service in front of the elevator and I find that very good to avoid waste, good job on that ! At the end the staff helped us ship our luggage to our next hotel and it went smoothly. Thanks again to the whole staff that made our stay so great and if we come back to Tokyo we will surely visit you again ! Aleksandar

This is one of the best hotels in Tokyo. We stayed here for three nights and wow! The hotel is beautiful with a great location, and the rooms were super clean and quiet. The best and most unique offerings of this hotel are the breakfast buffet and hot bath. The breakfast has an amazing selection and is so delicious! The hot bath is very relaxing and extremely well maintained. Lastly, the staff are awesome. They were incredibly helpful answering all our questions and assisting us during our stay. They are also super kind and friendly. Highly recommend booking and can’t wait for our next stay.

Google
The 4-Star *Mitsui Garden Nihonbashi* feels like a 5-star hotel. The service is excellent, the cleanliness is impeccable, there is a very pleasant Onsen on the first floor and the breakfast is that of a chef restaurant, with some options for Europeans as well, like some fresh-cut vegetables and fruit, cheese and ham, white bread, pastry and egg options. The Wi-Fi is good, but for working online on the laptop you can ask for a private router/Wi-Fi extender in the room, with a network cable. The location is great as well. 3 min. to the nearest Metro station Shin-Nihonbashi, with an underground access with lots of restaurants around. Very small downsides: There is no desk in the room, but you can ask for another small coffee table. The lighting on the mirror is very weak. The hotel and the rooms and corridors are elegant, but in a dark/black decor, which made me feel a bit gloomy at times. But all-in-all I had a wonderful experience here!

Google
The room is slightly bigger than the nearby beach, Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier. The service is amazing and they offered to hold our luggage until we came back to Tokyo. The hotel is right next to the Mitsukoshimae station off the Ginza line so its super convenient. They also have a public bath so tourists could get a taste of what thats like.

Yelp
Clean, good sized room with both bath and shower, fridge and small seating area. Appreciated that they also provide small plates and cups, etc. it seems like this caters to business travelers but saw lots of tourists here as well. Amenities: there is a small onsen (divided by gender) included in the stay. Note this is a nude only onsen. Nice to relax after a long day. Breakfast: you can choose to pay for breakfast in the stay or pay a La carte. The selection is pretty much the same daily with lots of small dishes, rice, a Japanese omelet station and a coffee machine. I liked that they allow you to take coffee or tea to go. Location: directly connected to the Ginza line. Lots of restaurants options as also connected to malls through the subway tunnel. Great home base. Walkable to the imperial palace. A short ride away from Senso-ji temple, ginza shopping and the Tsukiji fish market. Overall: great value and location. Would stay again.

Yelp
Great location - only 30 seconds to a minute away from the station so we didn't have to stay out for too long while it was super hot. The hotel lobby is on the 9th floor so have to take the elevators there first. The breakfast buffet is amazing with the variety of Japanese appetizers and then various meats and fish like pork belly, oyakodon, grilled salmon, some mini sausages, and what seemed to be boiled/soft bacon. There's also a station with miso soup, white rice, corn rice, rice porridge, and Japanese rolled omelettes. Also an area with mini sourdough buns, small pieces of toast, croissants, chocolate danishes, strawberry jam and orange marmalade, and cereal (corn flakes and frosted flakes). Since I stayed at a different Mitsui Garden hotel a few months ago, I had a coupon for a free breakfast, though the usual price of 3850 yen is fairly inexpensive for the quality IMO. The room itself is sufficient. I chose the superior room with 1 queen bed which was 23.5 square meters/252 square feet. There's a coffee table but since our luggage (2 backpacks and 1 carry on) took up pretty much the entire area/sofa, it was kind of cramped to sit there. For outlets, I recall each of us had two USB-A and two regular outlets (can't remember if type A or type B) next to the bed. There were a few more regular outlets around the room. The bathroom area is slightly separated from the rest of the room by a mirror and sink and the toilet and bathtub/shower are separated as well. It's the typical Japanese kind where the entire room is for washing and bathing.

Yelp
I had an enjoyable stay here for a week. The hotel is modern and clean. Lobby is on 9F, but there is someone inside the entrance who will direct you there. Fun amenities here include a Japanese communal bath (separated by gender) and a breakfast buffet. The buffet serves tiny portions of a variety of Japanese and Western breakfast items. My favorite is their sesame tofu -- it's not tofu topped with sesame, but sesame is actually made into the tofu. :P Do note that many families traveling with young children choose this hotel. During my first night, the room next door had a crying baby for most of the night, and it was very difficult for me to sleep. It's not that family's fault, but I asked the Front Desk to change rooms for me. Fortunately, there was one available. I did not have issues for the remainder of my stay. Sometimes there would be a few children running loose around the lobby, but that is tolerable...better than adults running loose.

Yelp
This is a really nice hotel in Ginza area of Tokyo. Disclaimer - I never stayed here, but I did visit people who stayed here. The lobby is on the 9th floor, so you have to take an elevator to reach the hotel concierge. There is another set of elevators to get to the hotel rooms. The rooms are pretty average for Tokyo - I felt they were smaller than those in the United States. However, you can expect a high standard of cleanliness and service. The hotel has a bathhouse and fitness center! It's easy to call a taxi here if needed. A lot of stores and shopping are in this area.

Yelp
We found it difficult to find an affordable hotel within our budget that was close to major Tokyo attractions and popular restaurants. In the end, we settled with Mitsui Garden Hotel in Nihonbashi because it was in the heart of Tokyo, within walking distance to metro stations, and was newly renovated. We stayed for four nights with a rate of $216 per night totaling our room to $777 with a discount, for being in the Ginza area this was a reasonable price. The entrance lobby was elegant and modern linked to a bar/ lounge with live music on selective nights. The main reception was on the 9th floor and all staff were cordial during check-in. One of their amenities they offered was a public Japanese spa, we were curious but didn't have the guts to try. Our room had a stylish and upscale vibe and was spacious for Japan standards. There were three comfortable twin beds, bathroom vanity, bidet toilet, large tub and walk-in shower. The fast Wi-Fi was reliable and housekeeping was responsive every day. I would book this hotel again mainly for the location and phenomenal hospitality.

Yelp
Located in the business district of Chūō-Ku is this new hotel. Location wise it has access to food, shopping and transportation. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Rooms are around 20sqm for basic rooms. Ok for lone traveler buT a tight squeeze for 2. Japanese buffet breakfast an option for ¥2700/person. Daily housekeeping from 10am-2pm only. Did I mention about the public bath? Yes it's on the same level of the hotel's reception area on tHe 9th floor. No swimwear.

Yelp
This beautifully designed modern hotel is a great bargain for the Tokyo area. It is located close to a number of subway stations. The small rooms are well appointed. There was almost no noise heard from outside our room for the 4 days we were there. Temperature controls work well. The window coverings keep the room dark when you want that. The mattress was comfortable, and they have a world class toilet with heated seats, directed water sprays, and message. Their bath (onsen) is maintained at 104 degrees F. The staff speaks English. They run a shuttle bus that takes you to Tokyo station and other locations at no charge. Matsuri Garden Hotel provides a great base for a visit to the Tokyo area.

Yelp
This is a very nice hotel. It's clean and very sophisticated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious and comfortable. The shower is big, however there isn't much privacy from the shower to the room. The only reason why I can't give 5 stars is because they are still not visitor friend with tattoos for the public bath. I hope this changes before the 2020 Olympics.

Yelp
Small but Very nicely designed functional room. Fabric covered walls. Super mellow vibe. 9th floor reception has outside garden (hence name). We payed extra for top floor and tub/shower. Usually just shower according to website but that ain't a bad thing, it's pretty luxurious. The shower head is a big rain shower type that drenches you from shoulder to shoulder. Everything is almost brand new, super clean, and elegant. Nice Bose mini boom box I took into bath/shower room to listen to my toons while I soaked in tub drinking my green tea. Nice. Soft and firm pillows firm mattress and warm comforter on the bed. Non smoking room with no cigarette smell at all. Rainy so no SkyTree Tower visible while there but normally there is. Breakfast was EXCELLENT lotsa little dishes of various tofus, veggies, some seriously awesome pork belly with a not-salty-at-all mild sauce. It's buffet style I went back 4 times and tried almost everything and all of it was really good to fantastic. Food is Kanazawa/Kyoto style cuisine. Excellent omelet coming off the pan every minute. Hot off the pan omelet was very fluffy and layered not sweet at all as are some Tokyo style omelets. I personally never got accustomed to sweet omelet. They have a Balmuda toaster and all kinds of croissants buns presliced breads biscuits etc. The fruits and veggies are perfect, cuz you know..... it's Japan.

Yelp
This was a great value hotel. Reasonably priced with good accommodations. I loved the way the hotel smelled in the lobby. The room was small but had everything we needed. The bath/spa area was very nice and I particularly liked the massage chairs. We also liked the location.

Yelp
We stayed here for three days. We absolutely loved it. The service was great, and the room was very clean and stylish. The room was compact (as is typical for Tokyo hotels) but it did not feel cramped. The bath was modern and not crowded, and open until midnight. The best feature of this hotel is its location - just blocks from the mall, some great restaurants, and the train station. We would stay here again.
