I stayed here for 5 nights. I had a good time staying and walking around the hotel which is near by the river. If having a chance to come back to Osaka, I would definitely stay here again.Staff: Very professional, nice and polite. Water: 2 Aluminum bottles of water were provided in the room everyday. Bathroom: Perfect in the sense that the shower area is separated from the bathtub.Amenities: Not provided in the room, yet available on the ground floor in front of the elevators.Location: A bit far from the shopping area, however the hotel shuttle bus is provided according to the time table back and forth. For the subway there are 2 line walk about 10-15 minutes. The nearest convenient store is 5 minutes away.My room was at the end of the hallway which I thought was good. However the next morning I found out that it was close to the housekeeping room, so I unavoidably heard the noise every morning. Especially on the last day I there's something in front of my room, so I was woken up by 6 persons at least, technicians, talking in front of the room.

Very quiet and convenient location Nice service Room is super clean and hotel is new. Pretty satisfied with the public bath which is open from 3pm to 9am which means you can probably enjoy the entire bath when it’s late . I went there around 11pm and I was the only one. I spent around 11300 yen for one night here during Jan 2025. The price is reasonable. It’s probably the best Mitsui hotel i have been compared to those in Kyoto Nothing here is super fancy like luxury hotel but they make it all good in all the details

Good size room clean and modern. The breakfast was very varied with sufficient range of dishes to satisfy most tastes. The bar/lounge area is restricted to the top three floors! Museums opposite are free/cheap and interesting. The free shuttle, which takes about ten minutes, to the station shopping centre is excellent. There are lots to do within a ten minute taxi ride. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Good hotel in a location that is walkable to where the music plays. We had a room with a great view over the city. The 7-Eleven next door is definitely a plus. There is no gym, but they have a bath (which I haven't used). Disappointing: Room beverage supplies (tea and coffee) are sparse, so are the available bathroom products:saving cream and shavers are available, but why not after shave or body lotion?

This is a great hotel, especially for the price! The blanket on the bed is extremely warm in the winter. It's convenient to Higaboshi Station, as well as FamilyMart, Lawson, and a few restaurants. It's in a bit of a business district, so it's quiet at night and not too busy. Bathroom and shower were well maintained, clean, and modern!

The room is clean and neat as every other mitsui garden hotel. However being charged for 2xxx yen for a 0.5 hour late checkout is the first I’ve ever seen in my past 30+ mitsui garden’s visits. Need to reconsider if we should stay with mitsui garden anymore. Charged fee is also unproportional to their price listed on their website, listed price is around 4000yen (1/3 of the price of a night) for 2/3 hours extension, paid it just because I didn’t have the time to argue:)

Rooms are a bit outdated, the table and chairs in my room were also scratched up and slightly damaged. The staff is really nice and asks if you want room service every morning. Got this room mostly for the view but unfortunately checked in late and it seems like the rooms with good views were booked out.

We had a good stay at Mitsui Garden. The room had a good size for Japan standards, the bed was very comfortable and the shower/bath tub was also very convenient. We had a room on the 9th floor, which offered an incredible view over the river. The hotel offers free onsen to guests from 3 pm to 9 am, therefore for those jet lagged, it can be a blessing to have a hot bath during the night. On the same floor as the onsen, the hotel has a paid laundromat, with two combined washer/dryer, which were lifesavers after a long trip. The staff at the hotel were very attentive and helped us when needed, with a lot of kindness. The only minus was a particular bothering smell that we had in the room, the source of which we never identified. There was also condensation on the windows during the night, which may cause some mold in the long run, if left unmanaged by the hotel staff. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it!

Yelp
Mitsui Garden Hotel - Premier / Osaka -- Of the five Mitsui Garden hotels Jamie W. and I stayed at during our journey across Japan, this one ranked high among a high quality collection of accommodations. Sticking to the Mitsui Garden brand paid us dividends in Osaka because we found ourselves in a luxury hotel near Umeda next to the Tosahori River. We arrived after midnight because we took the late afternoon Shinkansen from Sendai, a pretty long trip, and had to roll our luggage on the cobblestone sidewalks from the subway station. We checked into a Moderate Twin room for just $80 per night for two nights. There were two large twin beds and quite a bit of space as well as a pretty nice river view. Great amenities abound here starting with the large indoor public bath and a fancy lounge on the 16th floor with complimentary food and beverages. We even had time to take advantage of the coin-operated laundry since we were in the middle of the trip. Front desk service was as impeccable as the other hotels, and they provided us with an entertaining cab driver who took us to Shin Osaka station (photo). RELATED - Exploring Japan? Yelp
The rooms smell of body oder and mold. The headboards are pelling and appear to be heavily used. When we arrived for our 5 night honeymoon stay, the first room we were given had smelled of body oder and cigarette smoke. There were (3) beds and very little space. We contacted the hotel management, and we were given another room. While this one had more space, and only two beds, it had the same body oder smell. Fortunately, there was no cigarette oder in this one. Both rooms / floors are nonsmoking. Update: The hotel leader had reached out to us after our stay started (thank you), sincerely apologized in regards to the inconveniences, and had sought to better accommodate our stay by preparing another room with a deodorizer machine. We opted to stay in our current room and to have our current room treated. They're actively addressing the state of all all the rooms; however, there is only so much that can be done at once.

Yelp
Fabulous hotel. The rooms are spacious and the amenities are lovely. The onsen on the top floor is small but really nice. They have an indoor and outdoor area for you to soak and everything is covered for privacy. The staff are incredibly helpful and you can't beat the location with a view of the canal and a short walk from... everything. Wonderful place!

Yelp
This was my first time experiencing the Mitsui Garden Hotel chain, and it definitely did not disappoint. I was so fortunate to have this place be one of the first onsen experiences I ever had. The location is close to the station and the walk back to the hotel was so gorgeous along the river. The rooms were clean and I liked the layout with the sink vanity separate from shower and bath. I don't think we ever used the shower in the room because of the convenience of the onsen. They provided bottled water daily and they have a fridge which was helpful too. I really enjoyed my stay here and look forward to staying in another Mitsui Garden hotel!

Yelp
This is an amazing place to stay and in the middle of every attraction. We got the largest room that allows access to the lounge on the 13th floor. Our friends got other rooms that were floors beneath us. They said that their rooms were smaller than ours. Our room had a full bath tub and walk in shower with shampoo, body wash, conditioner along with other goodies like beauty products to try, travel comb, etc whereas, our friends room didn't. Loved how sandals were provided to use at the lounge along with clothes and socks. Highly recommend the room upgrade if you need space.

Yelp
Very nice business hotel in a convenient part of city. Clean, modern, close to Metro and local electric train station. Hotel staff friendly and speak English, which can be very helpful as the common folks don't speak English in the streets. There're more Chinese speaker than English speaker in the shopping area.

Yelp
This was a great hotel for our 24 hours in Osaka and first night in Japan. Fairly easy to navigate from Osaka Station. About a 15-20 minute walk, but there is a free hotel shuttle from the station that comes once or twice an hour depending on the time of day (check hotel website for schedule and map). The hotel is removed from the main attractions of Osaka, but we found plenty to explore on foot in the vicinity. Staff was friendly and spoke English. Our room was perfectly cozy, clean, and inviting. The bed was very firm, which I like. The pillows were rock solid and rather uncomfortable. There is a restaurant on site, but we took to the streets. There's a small handful of restaurants at the JR Station across the street, and many more options to choose from wandering the narrow streets just south of the hotel, which is what we did. We were taking a late afternoon train to Kyoto next day, and the hotel staff graciously held our bags for us after checkout so that we could further explore the city unencumbered. Fairly priced. I would definitely stay here again.
