The service is not good. There is no good reception. Even the food is somewhat good. The value for money is low. The menu is very old and neglected. For escaping, I do not recommend it. A smile is the most important thing.

We had the breaded chicken that came with salad, fries, potatoes, and vegetables, plus bread and olives. It was excellent. They gave us some chicken couscous also that we were admiring at another table.

Best shawarma I have ever tried in my life!! the chicken tastes amazing, I can tell they truly put good effort into making the food taste this good 🤩 you definitely have to try this! 10/10. The service is also really good and everyone there is very friendly. I recommend.

Thirty-five years ago, before I moved to Tangier, Morocco, someone told me that Mix Max, a small restaurant very close to the Place de France, had delicious food at reasonable prices. I tried it and loved it. My favorite menu item was a salade niçoise which I would regularly enjoy. The salad was consistently good and used fresh and crispy lettuce, a hard-boiled egg, generous chunks of tuna, diced boiled potatoes, fresh green beans, beets and a tasty vinaigrette. The waiter brought a small bowl with very tasty olives while I waited for the salad. Mix Max is located on Avenue Prince Héritier and directly next to the corner Café de France, now renamed Café Place de France. There is an upper mezzanine level, accessed through winding stairs. On a recent visit with a woman friend visiting from Spain, we shared a medium pizza that had a thin crust, tomato sauce, cheese, and ground beef. It cost only 34 dirhams, half of what I normally pay at another place. The crust was thin, crispy and the pizza was hot. Some reviewers have written that Mix Max has the best schwarma in Tangier. But since I don’t eat it, I really can’t comment. Lasagne, various pizzas, sandwiches, paninis, schwarma, sodas, mineral waters, and fresh juices are all on the menu. The service by our polite waiter was fairly quick.

I had a great experience at Mix Max. It is the best shawarma I have eaten, taking into consideration that I live in Germany and have tried a lot of types. The chicken is the best, and it’s what makes it stand out. I also tried the pepperoni pizza a few days later and it was really good. The workers are very friendly and the environment was really good. Also a thing to mention, it is a great price for what you get.

Nice place to have shawarma even if you crave it at 4h in the morning

I regret to say that my experience at this restaurant was deeply disappointing. The quality of the food was subpar, lacking both freshness and flavor. The service was equally unsatisfactory, with staff displaying a lack of attentiveness and professionalism. Furthermore, the atmosphere was entirely absent—there was no ambiance to speak of, making the dining experience feel dull and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment based on my visit

The shawarma is fantastic - ask for a side of bbq sauce! It's reliable and tasty for an affordable weekly lunch. Very quick too.
