Miyazaki Kanko Hotel

It a bit old style but vey comfortable hotel. Room has a capsule coffee machine. Hot spring is very good with outdoor side. Breakfast has many collections, the best part is the river view.

Friendly staff. Room is spacious. Room is clean. Not very far away from shoping area and station.

The room was spacious, clean, and looked as though it was recently renovated. Some of the communal areas and elevator was dated and tired looking which definitely detracted from the overall first impression. We were surprised that there was no complimentary coffee or tea in the room, only green tea?! Japanese husband said it’s first time he’s seen this too. A filtered water and ice machine somewhere would have been good as the tap water is drinkable but not a pleasant flavour. For a few nights someone was smoking in their room despite it being a non-smoking floor, it was quite unpleasant as it permeated into the hall and our room, staff were alerted but don’t think anything was done about it. Overall it was good but we will probably stay somewhere more central next time.

Stayed one night, location is a bit isolated in terms of restaurants and things to do. Definitely an outdated hotel and could do with a renovation, however the room was definitely very large for Japanese standards so the was a plus!(superior queen). If self driving there is a multistory carpark right behind hotel so that’s also a plus.

This Hotel is famous for the tourist but the building is a bit old. Their toilet has old bidet, it’s hard to operate. They have old fashioned key, don’t be confused. But when it comes to service ill give them 5⭐️they are very helpful and polite staff.

I got nice experience when living in this hotel on late of July 2023. First , I would like to recommend you chose the river view rooms with higher floor; it's so nice really. Second, if you drive car in, it is reminded that hotel gargage in lower ground floor is for their own service cars, residents need to drive their cars to the hotel back side that we could see an entire car parking building on site. Finally, I was so impressed that the excellent working attitude of Mr.Nakatake helping me to fix some general issues and proposed alternatives immediately. Besides, as he could speak English well, it is much beneficial to serve those foreigners easily.

Cozy, serene and great place to send time.

We had a 1 night stay in this hotel. Pretty big hotel since they had a few wings and when we alighted from our tour bus, we had to move our luggages from one wing to another. The onsen was pretty good although I had a pretty faint memory of this hotel, and that I keep having it mixed up with another hotel because both had a good room views of some lake/sea. The only thing I could differentiate from the other hotel was that it has more than one wing and accommodation must be very well received in this place. The buffet style restaurant we had for breakfast the next morning was also pretty good as there was a lot of locals also having their breakfast there.
