Google
It's pricier compared to others, but lets keep in mind that you have a professional chef creating the food. After having Mecha and Poke Pro Ramen, this place really beats them down. PokePro is bush league, Mecha is a hipster take on Ramen that belongs in a D3 program, and this is Pro league. I've had Ramen in Japan and this is quite close. They really put their heart and soul in to the craft, which is reflected in the food. The ingredients seem to be of high quality.

My favorite soup around! All the other items on the menu are great too but I really love the soup. The portion is very generous which I appreciate. Highly recommend!

Divine! I haven't had a shrimp poke bowl this good since I was in Hawaii. Great service and presentation. Backstory I think could be true: her husband runs Dante's next door.

Google
I have always loved their coconut spicy chicken soup. I hadn't had it in a very long time, over a year. I was completely shocked to see how small the portion shrunk. I used to be able to get two meals out of one soup, there is way less chicken in it now. What also shocked me was the $25+ dollars it now is with tax. When they opened in 2017 the soup was $15 dollars. The 60% increase, I find is excessive. I know it is new canaan, but 60% is a lot. Unfortunately, they have priced out older customers.

Miyuki’s is delicious, consistently— we’ve been coming here for years! I can’t comment on how “authentic” the poke bowls or ramen are, but they are unquestionably delicious. Yes, relatively expensive, but not out of the realm of what’s expected in New Canaan. Only open until 3, so don’t plan to go for dinner! Also, Miyuki offers a fried chicken sandwich which is smaller (more of a “snack”) which has a unique flavor profile compared to just about anything out there— if you are a fan of chicken sandwiches, give it a try!

Google
The ramen is really great as is or is you like add in's. It's located in a common food area sharing Dante's pizzeria and a salad place plenty of seating indoor and out. The only negative is it's only open until 3:00. Some notable dishes are Fried Chicken sandwich and it is worth trying, when the pho is available definitely a must get. I also like the fact that they're served in huge bowls and the portions are very large. And if you like dessert they have huge chocolate chip cookies that are baked in the pizza oven. Donburi is also amazing.

Google
I have never left a review on a restaurant but I had to once I saw some people saying the ramen was good. This ramen is more closely related to packet ramen noodles you can buy from a gas station rather than authentic Japanese. The woman I spoke to at the cash register was not polite and the food took at least 30 minutes to arrive. It’s my personal opinion that the people leaving reviews claiming the ramen was worth the price and was comparable to Japanese ramen either have never had authentic ramen or have motivation to leave misleading reviews.

Google
I'd heard this from a friend but I like to try things for myself since I often have my own opinion. But in this instance, my friend was right. The portions were very, very small and the price was very, very expensive for what it was. I got four of the buns and it came to more than $20. Then I had to seat and serve myself in a glorified lunchroom. This "meal" just barely filled me up and service was a little rude too. I won't be returning.

Yelp
It's just a poke bowl, but somehow the flavor is so, so good. And those cookies! Pricey, but worth a splurge for lunch every now and then.

Yelp
The coconut chicken soup was very flavorful and good. Not the best I have had, but for this area it was surprisingly full of favor. The price though was outrageously high for one, not-so-large bowl of soup.

Yelp
I went on a nice Sunday afternoon which was very quiet, but it was great to sit outside and enjoy the weather. I ordered Tuna poke bowl. Everything in the bowl was fresh. However, I didn't get good cut of tuna. Several tuna pieces had some tough tendons/muscles which made it kind of chewy. I would love to go back and try out their noodles. The menu is simple, nothing crazy, but pricey (everything in New Canaan is pricey anyway so I knew what I got myself into). Their parking lot is conveniently located on site. Also, keep in mind that this is not quite a restaurant. It's more like a market place that 3-4 food vendors share seating space together that offers casual and relaxing atmosphere.

Yelp
Hello Miyuki's is one of my favorite places to dine in CT. The Asian flavors are delicately balanced, and each dish is beautifully plated. I recently stopped in and had the Spicy Coconut chicken soup. Oh my! I wanted to hug the Chef, it was soooo amazing. If you love Asian inspired dishes this is the place for you. I'm talking Tuna Poke, Ramen, Steamed buns with exceptionally prepared meats, and melt in your mouth Salmon over rice with beautiful greens. Hurry up! Don't run any lights! It's well worth the haste. Miyuki's never disappoints. Cheers!!

Yelp
I'm on a bit of a ramen kick lately and DJ and I have been going around trying to check out all the ramen I can find (in all fairness, i'm the one on the ramen kick - sorry DJ). Anyway, this place was very interesting. It's sort of like a food court - there are a couple of different restaurant fronts and you go to the one you like and everyone sits in the middle court area. I wasn't expecting this, but it was fun. The ramen was fantastic - thoroughly enjoyed it. By the way, that reciept with the "TWO GENTS" is from me and DJ. I asked them why that moniker... she said she forgot to ask a name before we walked away from the counter. We just though it was funny. We've been called lots of stuff but that was a first.....

Yelp
The salmom poke and chicken donburi are legit. The poke is very unique - salmon, apples, olive oil and spices and its gooood. Like I think about it sometimes during the day. The donburi isnt far behind. Oh and the cookies. Theyre long island good cookies. Dosnt hurt Dantes pizza is there too. A pie, some poke and a cookie? Thats whats up.

Yelp
Tofu Steam Bun was excellent and Pork Belly Ramen has big and good taste Belly which is so soft.. It was my first time at this restaurant, but so far one of best places in Connecticut

Yelp
Truly awesome. This is definitely on the level of Momofuku & Ippudo if not surpassing it. The ramen itself was a tiny bit thin but the flavors were deep and delicious. Food Hall in New Canaan who would have thought of it but it works fine. Looking forward to the next time and gonna try a pizza/ramen dinner of champions as Dantes Pizza smelled like the real deal.

Yelp
The chief certainly has put in her heart in creating the food. I ordered Pho. Nice soup and with the right add ons, basil, lime, chili pepper and bean sprouts. Surprised to see cilantro, but love it. Next time I will try Ramon. Fun place to have a casual gathering with family and friends.

Yelp
The spicy coconut chicken was really good! Although the chicken itself was way too dry so I actually didn't eat any of the chicken. I know it's white meat but it's over cooked and tasted like cardboard. But the broth absolutely made up for the chicken and because of that alone, I'd order this dish again. The honey lemonade was way too sweet, both my boyfriend and I were unable to taste the lemon part of it. The drink should really be called very sweet honey water that is yellow. Despite my harsh take on some of the food, I did like this place and I'd come back again. I will definitely try more items on the menu and see how those compare.

Yelp
This place has a small parking lot. Plus there is street parking. Went on a busy Saturday around lunchtime. Was able to get a parking spot in the parking lot. This place is like a food court style with 3 different restaurant. You order and then bring you the food. I ordered the tuna poke bowl for $16! It wasn't that great. Missing some soy sauce in the poke. I'm sure it's expensive from the high rent prices in that area. If I'm in the area it isn't too bad ...they also have beef pho and ramen. But it's all very expensive. But a good place to go if you have family because another food stall is Italian so kids could have pizza while you have some ramen.

Kathleen S.

Yelp
Too expensive -- $15 for a bowl of soup, which did 'smell' amazing, but had absolutely zero 'taste' -- the only sensation we had in our mouth was just (spicy) hot, hot, hot!!! We tried really hard to eat it b/c we just paid $30 for two bowls of soup, but ended up clearing our own table and disposing most of the soup. What a waste. Management was rude and openly displayed an attitude of not caring if we ever came back -- even went to the trouble to have the adjacent pizza counter join him with a who cares, take it or leave it shrug. Wow. If they don't care if we come back, we won't bother them with our business again.

Yelp
Yummy, fast and great service. Food court is nice and bright and casual, perfect for easy lunch. Nice fusion of Asian classics- great tofu bao and ramen.

Yelp
Tired of the same old New Canaan fare? Step up to the counter at Miuki's and prepare to excite your taste buds! All original, pan Asian delights from Poke bowls that are the real deal to pork belly buns that you won't find north of Manhattan. Oh, and did you succumb to that family-sized cookie on the counter? Best new food spot in New Canaan!

Yelp
Not sure what the other people who reviewed this place ordered, but this was the worst ramen experience in my life. Bland, flavorless. Go to Mecha Noodle Bar for an actual ramen experience, then come back to this shit and review it honestly. Absolutely terrible.

Yelp
Great place to get a Poké bowl! It was very flavorful and the tuna was great quality. It's a unique place for the area since it's in a mini "food court" so it's a good place to go where everyone can get whatever type of food they want.

Yelp
October 2018: they are closed!! First time I've experienced Yelp getting details wrong.

Yelp
A one of a kind experience. Miyuki is a talented and gifted chef who packs immense flavor into every bite she creates. Incredible offerings at a fair price. We tried several dishes and each was a mouthwatering delight. Don't just take my word for it. You need to experience this yourself with friends so you can try it all.

Gray R.

Yelp
Love this place! Didn't know it existed till a couple of months ago when a friend took me here and now I'm addicted. At this point I need to attend a poke bowl anonymous meeting . I go here at least once a week and either get a tuna or salmon poke bowl. The staff is so friendly and the environment of the store makes it even more welcoming! Try their cookies, best cookies I have ever tasted!

Ali C.

Yelp
Miyuki's has become my go-to takeout spot ever since I moved to New Canaan. The ramen is so comforting and the poke bowls are so fresh. The Spicy Miso Ramen is my favorite as it tastes so nostalgic to me. The Salmon Poke bowl is also super good. Although the prices seem high, they are pretty reasonable for the amount of food that you get.

Tina L.

Yelp
The menu has changed. Not updated online or at the stall. They have a more simple menu now. No pork buns now. Tasted okay. But it seems like maybe a new owner? I asked cashier what happened to the menu and she had no clue. Here is an odd thing. You order pizza here for the next stall over.

Piper F.

Yelp
I've had the ramen here before and it was okay, expensive but not that bad. The pho, however, is terrible. We ordered it for take out and they put the noodles by themselves in a little box. They were chewy and flavorless, and the broth tasted all wrong. Ordering from here was a mistake.

Michelle J.

Yelp
I tried this place the other day. The quality is not bad but I found it to be a real ripoff. Teeny, tiny portions. For example, I got some of what they call pork buns and it cost me $18 plus tax for four of them. I found this to be exorbitant pricing. In addition, the place reminded me of middle school lunch room seating and it's serve your self, to boot. The family next to me was not pleased about what they had either. The woman had some kind of tuna dish and she had the same complaint: way too expensive for what it was. I won't be returning.

Daniel H.

Yelp
Some of the worst ramen I've ever had. Scant toppings (just a very small slice of pork belly, scallions, been sprouts, and nori. No egg or enoki without paying a bunch extra), decent noodles (but clearly not made in house) and absolutely the worst broth I've had at a ramen shop. They somehow managed to use an atrocious amount of dashi (fish powder) making the soup essentially inedible - all I could taste was the bitter fishy flavor of the dashi, which in a pork broth is usually a background note to enhance the umami flavor. Perhaps the owners of Miyuki thought using an insane amount of dashi would mask the fact that their pork broth is somehow thin yet oily, and essentially tasteless? All for $15 with $6 beers. My partner got veggie buns which were ok, but heinously overpriced for 2 small buns at $8. DO NOT COME HERE. There are better places to spend your money.

Julius A.

Yelp
Great spot to chill with friends. Pork belly bun and honey chicken wings are favorites. Generous portions and very tasty.

Maura M.

Yelp
We love the high quality of the food at Miyuki. It is always fresh and full of incredible flavors. The poke bowls are some of the best I've ever tasted and my kids love the noodle dishes.

Deborah C.

Yelp
Prices are a little high but this is New Canaan real estate with parking. Since two pork belly steamed buns are delicious and filling enough for a single lunch, at $9 I don't think they are a bad deal at all. And repeat, they are DELICIOUS. Kale salad - very tasty, dressing was left on long enough to soften the kale so we got good flavor without tired jaw muscles. Ramen is good; flavor not quite as complex as Mecha but still very good and it's nice to be able to count on finding seating! I found the spicy chicken steamed buns to be too spicy for our tastes. The caramelized chicken wings are good. The BEST chicken wings are from PokPok chicken, no where close to New Canaan and the very complicated recipe takes two days to make -- Miyuki's wings are a nice substitute. A great place to get a tasty, not at all boring meal!

Loan L.

Yelp
I tried the pho noodle bowl at the Miyuki New Canaan location and it was edible but not good. The beef broth was not authentic, it was dark and was way too salty. They were able to get the rest of the dish correctly. The beef was sliced perfectly thin and it came with all the authentic sides (bean sprouts, thai basil, cilantro and jalapeno...etc). The price was $14 which might be ok for New Canaan location but the dish was worth no more than $10. Plenty of seating in and outside.
