Mizan's Kitchen

This is the best halal/mediterranean food in the area by far. It has a classic taste and was super filling. If i remember correctly, the platters came with extra pita bread and fries. He gives you two sides plus rice. My girlfriend and I ordered baba ghanoush on the side and Mizan gave us quite a bit. Mizan's service was warm and welcoming. We were the only people in the store near closing time, and he immediately made our food. It arrived quick and hot. Prices are a little expensive for the amount of food. Most halal food trucks will offer the same for around $10-11. He also offered us a free sample of ice cream, which I really appreciated.

.not impressed with the smoothy they made for us. They did not remove the leaves from the strawberries. There were brown chunks in the strawberry smoothy. Not sure where brown co.es from red straberries.

We ordered mixed Gyro but not enough meat in there, price is high and the meat tested bad. they served with white rice .

Great food and quick service. Mizan is very friendly and fun to talk to. Spice levels are great and something for everyone. Highly recommend stopping in for lunch or a late night dinner. I got the chicken shawarma and it was delicious.

Never again unless I really want food poisoning again. I was served to half cooked samosas with frozen chicken in them I thought I spat it out soon enough but it seems to have gotten me quite sick.

Delicious food and excellent customer service. If you’re nice and respectful, Mi will bless you with a freebie to add to your order, every now and again. (Fries or yogurt drink) All of his food is great!

I went here the other night with my 11 month old baby and friends after a long day of exploring the city. We ordered chicken wings. The owner was nice enough to give me a water on the house when I asked for a cup of water. The food took about 20/30 mins to come out. The wings and the fries looked good.. but this is when the experience starts to go down hill. After the first bite, the meat tasted off like it wasn't good. And the chicken by the bone was NOT COOKED through. There was still raw meat by the bone. We had only taken a bite of two wings and brought it up to the woman working because the owner had walked out. We sat at our table for another 40 minutes waiting while 4 or 5 other groups came into the restaurant. When the owner finally came back we overheard the woman telling him what happened and assumed our new wings were in the fryer being prepared for us.... little did we know that was not the case. After waiting another 30 minutes, we go up to ask what's taking so long and what's going on. They were not going to remake the wings for us and apparently didn't plan to tell us that. We asked for a refund because we were not going to eat and feed funky, undercooked wings to my baby, and the owner was talking to us with a huge attitude saying that the wings are cooked and cooked wings still have RED meat in them.... we walked away with a refund, but Hungry and tired after waiting over an hour and a half for some wings and terrible service.

Top tier service! Mizan is wonderful! Food is delicious.

I came here late Monday night early Tuesday morning after an Orioles game. To simply put it. Everything that I ate there was insanely delicious. I live in Alexandria and it has me planning another trip there soon. Mizan and his staff was great. The restaurant was super clean and had a real comfortable atmosphere to it. Great little resturant, great staff and most impotanly awesome staff. Thank you Mizan. I will be back. Would definitely give more stars if i could.
