Such a strategic location you can walk to the near sea and shops. The staff were so friendly. I loved the hotel’s classic Arabian stone design. The room was huge. Also, the beds are big. The check-in and check-out system was excellent; they allowed me early check-in and kept my luggage after check-out. The rooms either overlook the interior pool or the sea and harbor; both views are awesome. The restaurant is also overlooking and has balcony seating outside. The only thing I didn't like was that you could hear the ships in the harbor all night :( I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in the heart of the stone city.

Incredible experience! Highly recommend. Staff were amazing and always attentive, from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, the staff made us feel like we are family. The rooms were amazing and incredibly spacious and the views STUNNING! The best view we had in Zanzibar by a long shot. Overall would highly recommend, an experience that I would never forget!

This hotel was like a work of art on its own! 😍 I spent my first hour just exploring its interior - the lights, paintings, and photographs made it feel like a museum, so unique and vintage. My room was spacious and clean, and the vintage furniture and decor gave it a nostalgic atmosphere. It was unlike any other place I’ve stayed! ||The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Although there were a lot of stairs, which could be challenging with luggage, the staff carried it for me when showing me to my room and offered to help at checkout. It rained during my stay, and without me even asking, the staff provided an umbrella and escorted me to my building. ||There weren’t any bugs in the room so no mosquito net was needed. The aircon worked well and the bed was comfortable. They had a great selection of food for breakfast, with a seafront view. The location was fantastic, close to the ocean, the botanic garden, and the night market, with plenty to see and explore 😊

Great place very quirky the setup of the hotel is like something from the medieval. Staff are very friendly the rooms are huge with balconies. 5 mins walk from the ferry terminal, centrally located and within walking distance to all the tourist attractions. Would definitely stay here again. Priscilla from Australia

Very nice hotel with attentive staff and delicious breakfast! Located perfectly at the seafront and nearby all main attractions in Stone Town. The building itself is very beautiful and interesting. Perfect for a short stay!

Great location, abundant breakfast buffet on a balcony overlooking the ocean and well sized pool, which they let us use for the day after checkout. The room we were assigned at check in was damp and didn’t smell so good, luckily we were able to upgrade to a sea view room.

Amazing, sweet staff and delicious breakfast with a great variety of options. I visited with my wife and our 2-year-old daughter, and we all absolutely loved the experience. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and the atmosphere was warm and family-friendly.

This hotel feels like Zanzibar in a nutshell. The architecture and decor is amazing, and you can definitely get lost in this maze of a hotel. If you like beer, then be aware that it is not possible to get any alcohol here. Other than that, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I can recommend this hotel if you're looking to explore stone town for a few days.
