This branch of Miznon is less hectic than its counterpart on rue des Ecouffes, but the food is still excellent. I had the beef bourguignon pita, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. The pita is soft and fresh. I topped it all off with all three available sauces (tahini, tomato, and green pepper, I think), and they all worked well together with the tender beef and soft pita. Take some time to prepare your last bite -- my pita had a good concentration of sauces soaked into it, and a bit of beef left, so my last bite was the perfect ratio of beef, soft pita, and sauce. Yum.
The cauliflower here was a bit softer than the one we received at the other branch, and while I preferred it a little less cooked, it was still delicious, and we demolished it. We also got an order of falafel which came with four pieces, and various pickles and onions to eat it with.
This is an excellent place to stop in for lunch if you're in the neighborhood. Even if you aren't, this is a short walk from République. I'd happily come back.
