Mezpah is more than just a place to rest your head – it’s a little sanctuary in New Delhi. Caroline (the owner) and her team went above and beyond to make our five-night stay incredibly special. I was travelling alone with my 5- and 7-year-old children, and they made everything feel effortless.
The guesthouse is in a trendy suburb with great shops, restaurants, and beauty spas just a five-minute walk away. On nights when we stayed in, the onsite food was a hit with my two and made evenings wonderfully easy after busy days exploring.
The communal areas and rooms are impeccably decorated, offering a calm, beautiful retreat from Delhi’s bustle. I also loved that you can shop some of the gorgeous textiles and décor onsite – I left with quite a few treasures (those napkins!).
There were so many thoughtful, personal touches – staff remembering our names and exact breakfast preferences, handwritten notes, and even an escorted trip to the vibrant Friday night market for an authentic local experience. They checked tuk tuk fares for me, helped arrange transport, and suggested activities that were always spot-on.
I paid to use the pool at The Claridges one day and received nowhere near the level of service that Mizpah delivered.
If you want a boutique guesthouse in Delhi, this is the place I’d recommend for a truly unique experience.
