Mizuma Art Gallery

This place was beautiful in will maintained.The staff was very polite to me as I asked them a bunch of questions because I am a major in art.I wanted to know everything about the art and they assisted me in my curious questions.You should come here but don't bring your kids because it's very boring.All you do is look at art.And there's a lot of old people here, mercy boku

Great petite gallery space, featuring a monthly rotating exhibition of Japanese and international artists. Friendly and welcoming staff happily sharing the background of artists and their works.

It was hard to find the entrance. And the art was not my taste. Some people may like it- rather for young people. I dropped by because I was nearby.

I went to Mizuma Art Gallery for an artist talk. To my bewilderment, after I left the gallery I was followed down the street by a staff member, who was instructed to do so because they thought I took an important gallery binder. For context, Tokyo has an ultra-low crime rate with this sort of thing being extremely rare. The whole thing left a strange first impression and I will not be returning anytime soon.

A very nice art gallery with unique perspectives, great and attentive attitude. Very impressed by the artworks.

It had some nice parts, but too expensive for what you get.

Worth going there if you're around the corner

One of my favorite activities is checking out art. When I went to Tokyo I reserved one day for checking out art galleries. Mizuma Art Gallery was by far the best I saw on my trip!!!! The gallery is pretty easy to find using the directions they give you on their web site. It's a pleasant stroll from the train station to the gallery. The art installation we got to see was simply awesome!!!! It had to do with the concerns of our nuclear era - in particular, the fact so many nations have nuclear power and in the case of some, weapons as well. They had chandeliers in a room which were made of material that had levels of radioactivity - safe levels of course, which glowed beautifully in a dark room with special lighting. The chandeliers represented countries with nuclear power. Simply awesome!!!! The museum staff are quite nice and we chatted with one of them about the installation for a bit. What can I do without at Mizuma Art Gallery? Nothing. What stands out at Mizuma Art Gallery? Really great modern art!!!! 5 stars!!!! Mizuma Art Gallery is really, really ridiculously great!!!!
