Disappointed because the gelato didn’t taste as great and of high quality as the location on Queen. The gelato wasn’t too creamy and all the flavours tasted too sweet. Their croissants tasted stale and the pistachio filling didn’t resemble a pistachio flavour. Croissants were not flaky or buttery, just dry and tasteless. The tiramisu was the only redeeming quality (super strong and bitter coffee flavour which we liked).

Best ice-cream I had in Toronto 😍 So smooth, not too sweet and heavenly flavors. They do new flavors every month. For sure try the pistachio one and the chocolate mouse ones, phenomenal.

A couple of weeks ago, we came by at night with extremely long queue of waiting, we decided to skip and we came by this afternoon. The choices of gelato are nice with a lot of seasonal flavours, such as Guava, Pineapple, Peach, ……. The fruit flavours are outstanding and not too sweet in which the gelato can bring the flavour. Gelatos are well prepared.

We've always been curious about this place because of the frequent queues outside, so we finally decided to give it a try. We got medium cups with two flavours each: Pistachio & Dark Chocolate, and Hazelnut & Dubai Chocolate. The Pistachio was absolutely outstanding 🤤. Definitely worth the hype! There’s also some indoor seating with about 5 or 6 tables.

We were craving for ice cream and wanted to try something new and unique. We short listed 2 stores in that area and end up going to this store without having any clue what to expect. I was really impressed with the quality of the gelato. We tasted some and they all were so good. It was very hard to choose from. The flavours were rich. The stuff was friendly. The place is quite small but its cute and cozy. Would go here again.

For those who love desserts and especially gelatos, Mizzica is one of the best options to visit in the region. The gelatos have incredible flavors and a huge variety, which can be quite overwhelming. In addition, for those who want to have a coffee or other cold drinks, they have a beautiful display of desserts (including Dubai chocolate) and a few varieties of savory snacks. The room is very spacious, with tables that accommodate wheelchair users and people with walkers. They have options for vegans (water-based gelatos). A pleasant environment, with good service and good prices. The ice cream shop is classified as having disabled access, however: the entrance and exit doors are not automatically activated, the dining room is too narrow for a wheelchair user to reach the bathroom and unfortunately they do not have a menu in Braille. They do not have their own parking lot, but there are some private parking lots on the street and some private parking lots in the area.

Yelp
My favourite gelato place in Toronto. It's the closest to what I had in Italy especially for the "Pistachio from Sicily" flavour. It's very thick and creamy. That and "Sicilia" are my top flavours. I also enjoyed the "Wilberry Cheescake" flavour. In certain regions of Italy, they're known for hazelnut, but I found Mizzica's hazelnut flavour very underwhelming. Some of their fruit flavours are yummy, but nothing spectacular.

Yelp
So good and sooo cute. The folks are nice too. That's basically it. It's a sweet little ice cream shop.

Yelp
I was really excited about visiting their new location as they offer delicious ice cream and gelato, but I wasn't quite impressed with my experience. You need to stand in the lineup to get inside, which is fair due to stores limited capacity. But when the lineup gets in, it becomes very chaotic, as people don't respect the lineup and they push others to order faster. You can taste 2 flavors before ordering, but we were pushed by people behind us and the fact that staff couldn't help with serving customers in order, didn't help us make the right choices and we ended up being disappointed. The scoops are smaller than other ice cream places and it even more obvious when you order 2 scoops in a waffle cone.

Yelp
Mizzica is an artisinal Italian bakery. Most of their baked goods and all of the gelato and sorbet are made fresh in-house daily. This is their second location. It opened on 2024-06-12. The gelato is light and creamy and not too sweet. I had the Dark Chocolate Sorbet, and it was very creamy, not watery. The fruit sorbet has 55%-60% fruit. I'm adventurous so I had a large with the following three flavours: 1. Brie, Figs and Walnut. This was surprisingly good! 2. Amarena Cherry. Definitely real cherries. 3. Mizzica Che Rocher. My son got safer flavours in a large: 1. Dark Chocolate. 2. Mango. 3. Chocolate Al Latte (Milk Chocolate). Their Hot Chocolate made with 24% fresh cocoa powder and milk. The same cocoa powder is used in the Dark Chocolate Gelato. Mizzica is a husband and wife business. The husband (the chef) is from Abruzzo, Italy, and the wife is from Sicily, Italy. Mizzica is a popular word used by Italians, meaning "wow!" as in "wow this so good/bad". The owners want customers to have an extraordinarily amazing experience of being in Italy. Because of that, they gave the interior a feeling of Italy and the products they sell (e.g., chocolate bars, bakery items, gelato/sorbet, etc) are genuinely Italian. Chocolate bars are from Sicily. The head statue (testa di moro) is given a name "Iada", which is made by a friend. It is named from an Italian love tragedy. Some cakes and cookies are made by an Italian chef, but the rest are made in-house. The shells for the canolli are made by a Sicillian bakery called Trinacria Italian Bakery once a week. Canolli fillings are made fresh in-house with flavours pistachio, ricotta, custard cream, and nutella. Husband (Paolo) and wife (Denise) combined 9 years of experience. They also sold gelato in Italy. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2024-123

Yelp
This gelato shop is a gem for dessert lovers! With creamy, rich flavors ranging from classic chocolate and pistachio to unique seasonal varieties, there's something for everyone. The gelato is fresh, perfectly textured, and not overly sweet. The staff is friendly, and the ambiance is cozy, making it a delightful spot to treat yourself. A must-try for any gelato enthusiast.

Yelp
I love how they always have so many flavours to choose from and there's always something new each time I visit!

Yelp
A solid offering of gelato. I tend not to put a lot of faith into social media hype but this one delivers the goods. This is a newish mid town location as I was in the area and didn't see the huge line up decided to pickup a pint of pistachio. They have a good selection of flavors. Service was good so if you want your gelato fix sans the line up (weekday afternoon in my case) this will do just right.

Yelp
Hands down the best gelato place in the city! The variety is incredible, with new and exciting flavors popping up every other day. It's always a treat to see what's on offer, and each flavor is perfectly crafted--rich, creamy, and packed with real ingredients. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. If you're a gelato lover, this spot is a must-visit! My favourite so far rocher mizzica and walnut, brie figs flavour and pistachios of course. P.s. The only place I see 3 flavours of pistachios at a time

Yelp
came here for Gelato and was impressed! They have a variety of unique flavors and aren't too pricey either! I got 2 scoops for 6.50 (two pretty large scoops) and was pretty satisfied. I got a scoop of their Sicily pistachio along with a scoops of their biscoto and really enjoyed both. Super tasty and packed with flavor! I also had a taste of their rocher and also thought that was really tasty as well! Overall, enjoyed it and would come back!

Yelp
Mizzica Gelato is known for their artisan gelato and also carry Italian pastries and cakes & coffee and drinks. The second location at Yonge and Eglinton has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The gelato is amazing but you also have to try out their cakes/pastries and drinks that they offer. In the photos, we had a scoop of peach cheesecake and fragola (Strawberry) gelato, tiramisu, pistachio cannoli, and hazelnut cornetto, along with hot and cold coffee beverages. Everything was delicious and will definitely be back soon! Also thank you to the staff who were super helpful with their recommendations.

Yelp
Sicilia and pistachio from Sicily were excellent. Wildberry cheesecake was good as well.
