Amazing museum, now I see alpinism with different eyes. Incredible architecture and the combination of alpinism history, beautiful oil paintings and the natural views of the Dolomites from the balconies is really worth the visit.

Small modern museum displaying mountain art, history and artifacts. The interior platform has an excellent view to the mountain range behinh the museum. There is not much to see here sadly and there are no interactive or multimedia items besides the recording playing at the cinema room. The place was crowded when we visited in late October, so it was hard to move around at times.

It was wonderful to discover this museum nestled up in the clouds at Kronplaz. The architecture is a really special artwork in itself and it holds some seriously good tableaus of mountains as well as many cultural creations. The staff are so passionate about this place it is infectious. Good little museum store.

Amazing museum in an amazing location. Well worth it, whether you are interested in mountain climbing or not. But, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT ASK GOOGLE MAPS HOW TO GET THERE. It will tell you to drive up the mountain. What you want to do is to drive to one of the gondolas and take that up the mountain.

Amazing experience. The tram to get there takes quite a while but it is definitely worth it. There are a few places to eat at the top. Overall a very nice place to visit even if you're not going skiing.

Very interesting even if you don’t know anything about mountaineering. Should note - unless you’re a very serious hiker, you’ll need the cable car up and down (museum not accessible by car). This adds €28 to the €12 museum ticket, although there is a lot more to do at the summit than just the museum, so I’d argue it’s worth it.

A modern museum about the history of Alpine climbing. I recommend visiting it before sunset, as it offers spectacular views of the Dolomite crown.

I visited MMM Corones because it was designed by the architect Zaha Hadid, but ended up finding the displays and views very interesting. Knowing nothing about mountaineering, the short video on loop about the exploits of Messner was informative. The art and sculptures were well selected, there is a small gift shop as well. Short walk from the godola style chair lift.
