Just across the road from Petras entrance. Excellent service on check in including valet and great advice from the reception staff regarding Petra, they will also book the Petra by night tickets for you. The dinner team led by Ibrahim was brilliant and the service and food was impeccable. Much better than the local restaurants. Breakfast was also brilliant with numerous live cooking stations and lots of choice. The rooms were modern and comfortable and the shower was amazing. Overall a perfect place to stay

Great location next to Petra entrance. Excellent service. As a gold client I’ve got upgrade to junior suite and late check-out before even asking for it. Very comfortable rooms and beds. Free chocolate hour in the afternoon - great, tasty. We had a wedding anniversary and got another gift, a bottle of wine in our room. Very good breakfast, special thanks to Kasandra F for her service. At dinner in the fine dining restaurant we had some issues with food (too salty for my taste) and got immediate discount from the duty manager. Highly recommend this hotel for everyone visiting Petra!

The hotel is located next to the entrance to Petra. We got two rooms which are connected, and the rooms were spacious. Our rooms faced the main road, and it’s pretty quiet, only with occasional sound of cars or dogs. The beds were comfortable. The air-conditioning in one of our rooms was not working. There’s weight scale and safe in the room. There’s a chocolate hour from 4-5pm, but it’s a slight disappointment – it’s a small chocolate fountain operated by a staff with choice of dips. We stayed on Christmas eve and Christmas day there, and the dessert corner in the dinner buffet on Christmas eve were the highlight, with plenty of choice, all made in Christmas theme, and its excellent value.

The food at this hotel is absolutely delicious and incredibly diverse. We tried almost everything, and it was all amazing! The staff provided exceptional care, making it a truly 5-star experience. A special thanks to Marry Ann G, who gave us excellent recommendations and guidance throughout our stay. Additionally, Mohammad H, the manager, and Fouad H provided outstanding service at the restaurant, ensuring every detail was perfect.||||The hotel’s location is ideal, just a short walk from Petra’s main gate, making it incredibly convenient for exploring this historic site. The rooms and the hotel itself are beautifully designed, combining comfort and elegance with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The overall ambiance adds a special charm to the stay, making it a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Fantastic stay and kindest service! I can’t recommend enough. The location is unbeatable and the hotel itself is lovely. Everyone at the hotel is putting their utmost effort to make your experience special. The breakfast buffet is really fantastic and the chocolate fountain happy hour is so fun! Save time to enjoy the courtyard and lobby area.

Our stay at Movenpick Petra made our Jordan trip truly unforgettable. Amani and Murad made our breakfast extra special, which was much appreciated after our long drive to Petra the previous night. The variety of food was fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel, as the staff were exceptionally welcoming.

Petra is the place of dreams and fantasy, mysterious and still pretty much untainted by massive sight-seer's. I walked 10 miles from the start, at the entrance, all the way up the mountain to the monastery and back to finish. I was very happy that the hotel was in prime location just across the street from the Entrance to Petra. The hotel staff beamed with welcoming demeanor and the food was fantastic. Rooms were comfortable with adequate amenities. I highly recommend Movenpick at Petra for comfort and convenience especially if you complete all the hikes in the “park”.
