MO Rooms

Pros: it’s in a good location and the hotel is unique. Cons: We were so excited to stay at this art hotel because of the reviews we saw on social media. However, it became an expectations vs reality thing because when we got there, the water in the pool was brown. We couldn’t even use it during our stay. For our room, it was cool (horse) and the design was unique, but I think it needed more cleaning especially the floor in the bathroom because it was made of marbles. The ac wasn’t also working well. Good thing the manager offered to move us to a better room (dragon), but still we were disappointed because the heater in the shower wasn’t working and the bed mattress was so hard. I hope they improve because it’s such a cool place!

We stumbled upon this hotel restaurant by chance and decided to have breakfast here. The staff were very kind, friendly, and attentive. Breakfast is offered in different sets: you choose a main dish and get coffee or tea, juice, as well as fruit and toast included. We had the shrimp porridge and the fried rice with shrimp – both were excellent. Considering the price, it’s more than fair. Highly recommended!

The room was nice and artistic, but unfortunately, our experience was ruined by several issues 1. Noisy AC – The air conditioning made a loud noise every hour, disrupting our sleep. 2. Unclean blanket – The blanket had a visible stain that appeared to be urine, which was completely unacceptable. 3. Difficult shower – Adjusting the warm water in the shower was nearly impossible. It kept fluctuating between too hot and too cold. 4. Rude service – When I asked about parking options, the staff responded rudely and emotionally instead of calmly explaining where I could park. It felt unprofessional and dismissive. 5. Lost item – We lost something during our stay, and we are 100% certain it was left in the room. However, when we informed the staff, they said they had checked and found nothing. This response was not reassuring and left us feeling frustrated. To make it worse, we didn’t receive any apology or compensation for all these issues. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. . .

Unclean, false advertising, |The black walls and darkness are just to hide the unclenleaness the same goes for the dim lights, the “bath” advertised is big and i booked this room excited for a bath, when we arrived the bath was unclean( running theme) and the plug hole didn’t shut, we found out from staff this is purposeful so they advertise a bath you cannot fill, when then reluctantly going to shower instead there was no hot water, staff then confirmed all of these things common complaints, the hot water got fixed for 5 minutes and then it went off again he did show us the box that was meant to help us fix, i will attach a photo because i was not touching that…|The tv was gone off the wall, not an awful problem, but something that was advertised and not given… the wall just had stains and holes where it had meant to be. |Floor dirty but as it was black i pressume they think it doesn’t matter. |Wires coming out of lights |I just am so unhappy with the fact of cleaning was done properly and they had what they said they did |This room has the potential to be amazing,|I do not tend to bother with little issues in rooms cause I get that things happen and if I am happy and there’s not huge issues I am satisfied,|But with this room i booked so excited, payed more to have the bath not only compared to their other rooms but also to other hotels which were much lower cost… to then be gravely disappointed. ||I wouldn’t bother booking simply because it’s clear staff are frustrated having to deal with complaints that then the owner is saying they cannot have fixed, |I mean come on hot water is a basic need.

I love this one place. It has two big things going for it. First, the staff are incredibly helpful. I needed to store some big things (bicycle, etc) at the hotel while I toured around a different part of Thailand and they safely stored my things without question. Second, the place is so artsy and quirky and unique. Each room has charming and surprising elements that are a breath of fresh air after staying in many cookie cutter hotel rooms.

We stayed here last week for two days and overall we had a lovely stay! Pros: The staff were so friendly and helpful! They went out of their way to help us. The rooms were clean and the decor was super cool!! We loved the design of our room, the horse room. The whole place is decorated well and is unique. Great location!! Cons: The pool was green :( they did apologize to us as we arrived and explained that it was due to the rainy season, but it was still a bit disappointing. The mattress was quite hard too, which was a pity. The white curtains aren't thick enough and there were times in the night I woke up because of the street light shining in. Overall, the staff were great, location was perfect and we would definitely stay again but in a new room :)

This is NOT a review for MO rooms but for the coffee bar restaurant at the front. Part of the same family. It has been open for 3 months now and is a very nice trendy style bar-restaurant. It is near the Gate and of Thapae Road, a very good location The staff are friendly and helpful, and the coffee was good. A lovely place to stroll around with some quirky, artistic bits. I will be returning.

Really unique hotel that have totally different styles for each single room. Worth trying if you are into arts.
