MO2 WESTOWN HOTEL

Only book if you are in desperate need of a place to stay in the city. The place looks clean at first glance, but the longer you stay, the more you will see all the flaws. When you go inside your room, you will see tiny cockroaches roaming the floor, furniture, and bathroom. I am hoping the bed is safe. The smell of sewer emanates from the bathroom drains. There is a bar outside with a live band, so it is very noisy at night and will go on until early morning. Amenities are basic. No parking reserved for guests (or if there is, there is very limited parking and might even be shared with their bar next door). We had to find parking a few blocks away from the hotel. Edit: We were booked in Room 227. I am not sure if this room is the only one with the cockroach infestation. Still, this is very unacceptable.

My go-to hotel in Iloilo City. The hotel has this luxurious fresher smell/aroma. Very nice room. Very clean. Very spacious. Excellent location. Enjoyed the pool and mini gym. The lobby is big and the staff are friendly. It's close to the riverside strip, the mall, convenience stores, night-out places. Highly recommend.

Loud music till very early hours in the morning when your room is facing the bar across the hotel. The receptionist did warn us but mentioned that the type of room we had would all have this problem. Couldn't get any sleep...There were cockroaches also in our room. But the location is convenient and the rest of the room was ok with atleast having a smart TV. The hotel restaurant is great and we ate there often. This was the redeeming experience of this hotel as a whole.

The receptionists are rude especially the two women assigned today December 30, 2024. We were talking to them, and she insisted that they explained the protocol yet did not. Please tell them to be polite , after all we are your customers. Explain your rules and guidelines -NOT IN HURRY OR IN RUDE MANNER. They were assigned there for a reason. Our day was ended so bad because of that rude behavior. We don't recommend to continue that behavior. Be kind to your customers. We stay there because we want to relax and feel the vibe but it was ruined. I hope this matter will be fixed.

The bathroom tiles are too slippery. My elderly mother slip and fall inside the bathroom however the Staff are very helpful they came right away when it happened. Overall, I highly recommend this Hotel, accessible location with a lot of resto nearby.

Promo rate for 2 was reasonable. They had no disposable slippers, small cockroaches present in the shower/bathroom. Very frustrating because they do not issue official receipts or cash register receipts. We had to ask for them and it took them around 5 minutes to give us one. First time to encounter a hotel that doesn't issue receipts automatically. 😡

Book only if you like a loud resto bar in front of your room with music until 2am. We didn't know this, the receptionist told us at the check in. The Resto bar is part of the Hotel, so they could change. Or they could change the old and loud Aircon (you can choose for loud Life-Music or loud old aircon or booth). The floor in the bathroom was wet... with water, not only wet. Before we take a shower. In fact, we don't take a shower, we run away from this awful place. The Receptionist offer us two more room... all faced toward the resto bar. 50% of the hotel rooms (i calculate) are facing to this party location. To be honest: The Music was good, no KTV, real singers or disco music. But we book a hotel room traditional with the idea in mind to sleep there, and this is not possible at the MO2 Westown Hotel. Flor was not clean, we could proof at the watered bathroom. Without the music, the MO2 had a good price/Quality ratio, but with this disco place in front it is a party spot, not a hotel for sleeping. It's up to you.
