Moab Brewery

We sat on the bar side. It was full and the restaurant side was empty, so it was the obvious choice 🤣. We did enjoy sitting at the bar and got relatively fast service, ordering both drinks and food. The chicken wings were a good size, and I got the BLTA wrap. It was a nice stop to break up a long drive.

Awesome brewery! We had sours which were delicious and refreshing after a day of adventuring. My burger was also one of the best brewery burgers I’ve had! The green chilis and bacon were amazing and perfect. I also loved the merch and bought some really cool stickers and a tin tacker.

Moab Brewery deserves 5 stars! The wait staff was exceptional—friendly and attentive. The blackened burger was perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and the dusted fries were a delicious touch. Highly recommend!

Service here was great. When it comes to the food and atmosphere, this is where it falls apart. I wasnt thrilled with the atmosphere, but I think it's a personal thing. The Pazole was real good. The pulled pork nachos were fair at best. There was a lot of the pulled pork that was cold. We each had a BLTA, mine without the advacado. This sandwich was a joke for the price. I couldn't eat my salad. It tasted like it sat out all day. Super dry, brittle and bitter. For this they charge an extra $3.50 as a substitute for fries. Another joke The food is overated and overpriced. We left with an $85 bill Insane

The overall experience was extremely disappointing. The service was very poor: slow, inattentive, and unprofessional. On top of that, the food quality was unacceptable. It was evident that the dishes served were leftovers from the previous night, lacking freshness, flavor, and proper presentation. This restaurant failed to meet even basic standards of service and food quality, and it is not recommended.

Came in here after a long day of riding and had an awesome meal! Server was great (Christian was his name) and made some great recommendations. The Cajun burger was delicious. It was so good that I ordered a second burger. Fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My buddy tried the root beer and said it was great as well

So disappointed. I should have read the reviews first. I got the pork nachos and they tasted like leftovers. Not many chips or beans as well. My husband did not enjoy his wings. Very dry and drizzled with sauce. Used to be our favorite stop but probably will not be in the future. I should mention the server was great !

The Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos were to die for!! So delicious!! And the Watermelon Peach Margarita was amazing! 10/10 would recommend!

Service was great. They have a great variety of food for everyone. One of the best sweet potato fries I've ever had! Burgers were awesome, and the green chili Mac and cheese was well worth ordering an extra side! Would absolutely eat here again and again.

Great food and service - Noel was great! Ate with 5 teenagers - enjoyed the variety on the menu - everyone's food was better than expected... I had the cajun chicken pasta and it was really tasty!

Came here after a great day of exploring Arches and Canyonlands NPs. Logan our server was fantastic. So friendly. We had the Smoked Combo, brisket, ribs and IPA beer can chicken with sweet potato fries and cole slaw. Everything was great. Almost forgot. Their beer is good, too. Our highest praise for a restaurant. We would come back. Unfortunately we do not live here.

The beer is average at best... same as the food. The service is the highlight- JC behind the bar was great. Here's the weird part- the close at 9:00pm. People were coming in at 9 to eat and/or drink and they were turned away. 9pm on a Friday in Moab... cmon man.

A great spot to rest from hiking and relax with some great food and drinks! Our server was very attentive and met our needs every step of the way. We ordered the pork quesadilla and a gyro wrap. My dad loved the pork quesadilla and I truly enjoyed the gyro wrap. I loved that the wrap had a chili lime tortilla and the gyro was well seasoned with a nice little kick to it! I ordered a homemade root beer as well, which definitely hit the spot after hiking in 100 degree weather! They have a pool table and plenty of tvs to watch events as well. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area!

The brewery is located on the main street in Moab. There is a good selection of craft beers and an equally good selection of food offered. The service was good. We were looking for a place to watch the soccer match and they had it on. Most of the crowd was there to watch also so the atmosphere was perfect. The food was very good. I had the pork quesadilla. My son had the hero wrap. Portions were large. I tried the double IPA. It was very good. Nice and hoppy

A great place to have a bite at the bar and a non alcoholic ginger ale. I recommend the blackened chicken with penne pasta with less cream sauce. Friendly service and decent prices. Took 1 star off since it felt warm, stuffy not a lot of air flow.

Just your average tourist traveling through. We came to experience Arches and Canyonlands. After hiking, we opted to walk around downtown Moab. They have a selection of ales and ipas. I ordered a canned sour from another brewery. They also serve food. Food wise, I ordered the chicken wrap and fries. The wraps were huge! Their downfall was that they fell apart easily. When you picked them up, they spilled all over the plate. I decided immediately to dump them on the plate and have a chicken salad instead. It was a losing battle. Inside, it's fairly large. There's a bar in the center and seating scattered about. Prices are decent, especially for a tourist area.

Visited the brewery while in town to explore Arches. We sat in the bar area and the service was great, the server was very kind and helpful with suggestions. We sampled a few of the beers (not my favorites) and ended up landing on the house made root beer. Food wise we ordered pork nachos and the portion was large enough for 2 to share, the flavors were great, the dips were fun! (Loved the beer cheese, however quite salty). Also ordered a side of the garlic red potatoes and they were SO good! Full of flavor and fresh garlic, mmm! They have a nice gift shop with a variety of souvenirs.

One of my favorite spots for dinner. The wait is usually pretty quick and the bar side (21+) is seat yourself. All food was delicious - the fish tacos had good flavor but I felt like could have a little bit more sauce or salsa. The chicken wraps were great and you didn't feel heavy after eating. The Mac and cheese is a must to get as a side. Great selection of beers as well

We were looking for a patio. The patio here is all enclosed. So if you are looking for something outside this isn't the place. The dinging area was really dark. The house made root beer is pretty good. The food was subpar. So if you go I'd go for the beer. Our server was super sweet and nice.

Food was good! Service was fast. No outdoor seating. Beers on draft are all less than 5% which is disappointing for IPAs but state law's fault- not the brewery! Especially liked the Moab especial because it tasted like a blue moon. I'm glad we stopped in!

Food was good, nice selection of brews and sandwiches, salads good, fries were amazing - for those ranchers snobs - it's good!

So the service was great but we wish they had told us when we walked in they were closing in 15 minutes! I had a pretzel that was clearly nuked and got hard; my partner had a pork quesadilla which was nice! Only had time to scarf down less than half our meals and they were putting chairs up all around - real turn off! BTW the beer was okay - not great!

Scott was a wonderful bartender and the food, excellent. Only suggestion is to stay open past 9pm!

This place hit the spot for the whole family after a long road trip into Moab. We ordered the kids fish stick, Reuben sandwich, bam bam shrimp tacos and the special steak sandwich. Everything we ordered was amazing! We had a pretty silent lunch as there were lots of yummy noises!

We stopped in after hiking at Arches and were surprised that this is more of a diner than a brewery. The beer unfortunately wasn't the best and was just okay overall (we had a flight with IPAs and oatmeal stout). We also ordered tostones for a snack and they were rock hard and not appetizing, which was unfortunate. The service was very good though, but the unappetizing food and just so-so beer make it that we wouldn't come back here again.

First off we arrived at 5:30 pm for. Early for a dinner seating but the place was dirty. I ordered honey almond chicken dinner with a baked potato and a dinner salad. The meal came before the salad. The lettuce was wilted. As the description read honey almonds I assumed the almonds would be coated and baked with the honey on them, but they were not the chicken was pan fried and saturated with the honey. Gross does not begin to this describe the taste. The baked potato was fine as was the small dinner roll. Our check came and the waitress asked how everything was as she could see I didn't eat the salad and chicken and said she would talk to the manager. She did, and he took my meal off the bill. He/she didn't even have the guts to come over to my table and talk to me. On the bright side the water did have ice in it. Skip this place.

It's important to know how bad the food is before you come here so you can plan accordingly. Beer is great. Ambiance is fun. Service is lovely and everyone is so kind. They also have their own distillery. However 3 of the 4 entrees we ordered at our table were so bad it was painful to pay for them. I'm not sure when the last time was that I had food at a sit down restaurant that so significantly felt like a tv dinner heated up and turned onto a plate with a $18-$25 price tag. The 4th entree, a gyro salad, was so starkly different in its fresh ingredients and great taste that it was as if it came from a different universe. Come for the beer, eat dinner someplace else.

Always a great time. The beers are cold and they offer a great variety. They have a lot of really cool tshirts, hats etc. The staff is hard working and friendly. Stop in if you are lucky enough to be visiting the cool town of Moab!

A large space so we didn't have to wait to be seated in the bar area and were later able to make reservations for a larger group. Good food and very friendly staff.

My wife and I came with our family while on vacation in Moab. The entire place is such a cool vibe and atmosphere. Seating is spacious and open. Service is great and there's a cool gift shop. The kids got their typical kids meals. Burgers and Mac and cheese. I go a blackened chicken pasta, the rest of the crew had burgers and various sandwiches. The food was amazing. The beer selection was awesome. The icing on the cake was the ice cream. Definitely check this place out.

You might be far from home like we were, but Moab Brewery will make you feel at home. Nothing like a good bar and grill with a great tap list to let you be in your element. Manuel took care of us, and our sandwiches fries were all the standards we hoped. The wait was minimal with a full dining room, and the brews were great. They had a diverse beer list from West Coast IPAs like Juicy Johnny, to bread-y, lovely Moab Pilsner. The amber was a good in-between. The tap list ABV seemed to all be around 5%, so we were able to try a little of everything without overdoing it. On top of kind service and yummy foods and brews, the place has a fun atmosphere, with locally inspired murals and photos, and you can end your meal with merch! Get a sticker for your camp trailer at least. There are also beer and spirits to go if you're in a hurry, but beer, food, and AC makes this an good spot to stay awhile.

The wrap was really good, I liked the texture and the flavor of it. The chipotle ranch was good. The fries were good quality too, and I enjoyed the beer I ordered. I'd come here again for sure.

DOG FRIENDLY! Thankful they let our sweet pooch come inside while we cooled off and had a beer. You can grab their canned beers from here in the front from the sweet host too! Their Hazy was good and apparently, I was told it is one of their best sellers. The bartender was super sweet and the food looked amazing - will come back to try food next time I'm in town!

Brewery and Grill serving pub fare. Menu is good with many choices , steaks, burgers fish, pasta ribs and more. Service is above average even when busy. They offer a full bar and nice selction of craft IPAs. Food is great. We had a salad with chicken and the fish and chips. Both were tasty. The fish was fresh beer batter and very flaky. The fries are seasoned , crisp and delicious. Also , the brew their own Rootbeer! It is fantastic. Try a glass. We were in town to hike and liked this olace so much we went there a fee times. Always good. Check them out

Had the best fish tacos (mango salsa with avocado creme) today. Hubby's pulled pork quesadilla was also very good. Food was not, beer was flavorful, and the service was prompt and fr friendly, thank you Shawtell, we were only passing thru, but will stop here again the next time we are in Moab.

We visited the Moab Brewery on a Thursday night in mid-October. We gave our name and group size to a gum smacking teenager. There were six of us and lots of open, visible table. He told us it would be a 20 minute wait. So, for 20 minutes, we stared at the open tables, watched him chew his gum, and then they seated us. It is apparent that the brewery is understaffed. Once we got seated, it took 10 minutes for someone to take our order. The food is mediocre bar food. Burgers, sandwiches, and fries.

We had a big group for a family reunion and the waitress (who was new) handled it like a pro! We all got different dishes, appetizers, drinks, desserts....just ran the gamete of the menu...and everything was great! The portions were big, prices very reasonable for a tourist town, and the atmosphere was fun! Highly recommend!

Only brewery in town so you can be thankful for that. They don't have much available with the alcohol laws in place for Utah. Prices are high for alcohol. I got 1 beer, jack and coke, margarita and 1 cheesecake and it ran me $55. They have beer togo and shirts you can buy on your way out. The alcohol section was not much, but again, it's the best they've got in town.

Our waitress manage to not smile once during our visit. She was very inattentive. We all had burgers and they were not the best- quite greasy. All and all, I think I'll pass on this place next time.

Wasn't busy on a Saturday Spring break weekend- a telling sign. Average food, less than average service. Had a larger group and 20% gratuity was added to our checks instead of standard 18%. There's much better spots to grab a bite in Moab.

We've been looking forward to visiting here again since we made plans for another camping trip. The food and beer, once we were served, was good. Service was very slow and a VERY inattentive waitress. Big disappointment.

Well this place was enjoyable. Good beer. Food fine. Tee shirts available. Waitress and gift shop lady were nice and friendly. Zax's staff not so nice and friendly. Go here instead!

We have eaten at the Moab brewery a few times over the years when in Moab. It's a combination bar / restaurant with separate areas for drinkers and those who want food as well. We arrived around 4 pm for an early dinner. We wanted to enjoy our beverages of choice, a Hefeweizen and pinot noir for awhile before ordering. My Hefeweizen, served with lemon slice, was not cold and barely had any carbonation. The menu has a wide choice of sandwich offerings, including an area labeled as "handhelds." All come with fries (or one can substitute for an added charge). There are also salads and entrees that come with sides. Our waiter showed up every so often to find out if we were ready to order. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Flatbread, a combination of chicken tenders, Buffalo chicken sauce, blue cheese and pickled onions. My husband had a Reuben sandwich. Both came with fries. The fries were good, lightly salted and slightly crisp. My flatbread could hardly be called "handheld" in that the chicken mixture was very crumbly and fell out even when the flatbread was folded. But the worst part is that it was so salty as to border on inedible. My husband said his reuben was very good, but so big that he brought half back to consume another day. Based on this most recent visit, I certainly would order something else if we return.

In town for Easter safari 2018 2019 and now 2024 so excited to be back at Moab brewery! tap beer is fantastic food is great staff is so accommodating highly recommend this place!

Went around 4:00pm on a Monday; not too busy. Seated immediately, given water and menus. Drink orders next and were promptly delivered. We both had burgers and fries and the kitchen delivered in short order. Burgers perfectly done and some of the best fries I've had in a while. Our server, Chrissy, was great, start to finish. Highly recommend; 5+/5.

Beer was fine. Food was far from fine. Plenty of parking. Atmosphere is blah. The tavern area is for 21+. There is a restaurant that's family friendly. It's also connected to the distillery, which we didn't try. We got Juicy Johnny's Hazy IPA and Johnny FrUTah Hazy Pale Fruit Ale. They tasted pretty much the same. Fine, but nothing special. We got Deli Style Pastrami Sandwich - Moab Style ($15.99 + $2 for Moab Style). It was actually horrible. Moab Style comes on a pretzel that fell apart and has no salt on it. The pastrami was not good. Some of the fries were crunchy and okay, but others were too soft. The service, however, was very good and we were well taken care of! Can't fault them for that. Go for the beer if you must, but go elsewhere for food.

Pretty decent for the only brewery in Moab; but compared to other breweries across the west...um, a bit below average IMHO. Bottom line for me: mediocre beer and mediocre food. But we came here twice due to sheer convenience. (It was a nice walk from our hotel). Beer: On the first visit I did a flight of tasters from their draft list and discovered that only the pilsner and the west coast single IPA (Johnny's IPA) were to my liking. The hazy was horrific. (Sadly those Utah brewing laws - from the stone age - limit the brewmaster's flexibility). But then I found a small loophole when I looked beyond the draft beer list - It turned out the FMU double IPA (in cans only) was quite tasty, if a bit lethal. (One was quite enough for me after those tasters). Food: We ordered onion rings as a snack on our first visit. They were just OK. On the second visit I ordered the fish tacos, and they were...just OK. My friend's burger was "fine." (He told me at that point we were not coming back again; and since he is a chef, I listened) One positive: The staff here were friendly and service was pretty good. Another positive: Moab Brewery did have a pretty extensive gift shop. I bought a cool t-shirt here; and we were surprised to find they also had their own line of distilled spirits. Plus somehow they were allowed to sell these outside the UT state liquor stores (which were closed at that hour). Hmm, Yet another loophole. On our first visit we bought a bottle of their gin (plus limes and tonic at a nearby grocer). Sadly, the gin turned out to be semi-awful, but we still used it up over the next several days. Sometimes you take what you can get.

I am a big lover of Utah breweries but this may be my least favorite. The food feels like a diner or a Applebee's. The service was slow and inattentive. Would have like to try a few more beers but the server did not seem to think it was important to come back and check to see if we needed anything else.

Sensational service and adequate food. If you're in town, this is a solid option, especially after a long day of hiking. Our server Noel, was second to none... we would go back just for the service!!

Great atmosphere in the little town of Moab. I had the Brewhouse burger, it was cooked as ordered. The waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The most impressive was that she didn't write anything down and recalled the order for four of us at our table and got it all right (couple had some requests for no sauce, etc) It was 50 cent wing night, we got the BBQ and Buffalo mild as an appetizer. We sat in the bar area, had a couple beers and they were delicious. Also hit the gift shop after dinner and left with some Tight Squeeze Barrell Gin. The gin is delicious and I thought it was worth the money over the spot on gin they make. They are both delicious but I prefer the tight squeeze now over the spot on. If you're in town this is a good stop for some dinner and a few beers or cocktails!

We came by this afternoon for a cold one after spending the day hiking at Arches National Park today. The hostess gave us a warm greeting upon entering. We asked to sit in the bar area. She gladly obliged us. Take a menu with you she suggested in case you want to order something to eat. So we took the laminated menu and found a table in the bar area. We ordered: * pint of over the top Hefeweizen draft beer for me $6.00 * a pint of black raven stout for hubby $6.00 * order of French fries - hot and crispy but a very small portion size. $5.99 * order of shishito peppers - fried hot and glazed with peppery sauce. A few were fiery. $8.49 Service was prompt, efficient, and friendly. Great price point for the draft beer but the fries and peppers not so much. We liked the various bikes hung on the ceiling throughout the brewery.

I had my 21st birthday in Utah, and you can imagine how many options of places to get drinks there are. So when I saw the Moab Brewery, I would be lying if I said that I wasn't a bit nervous to test out the drinks. Also noteworthy that the bar area is 21 and up to go into. It is pretty separated from the rest of the restaurant, but you can still order food in the bar area which is really interesting. I ended up ordering a flight of beer including the Moab Pilsner, Over the Top Hefeweizen, and Juicy Johnny's. I remember liking the Moab Pilsner the best, but I wasn't overly obsessed with any of them (keep in mind I am spoiled with the beer we have in Ohio). The game changer was when I ordered the Tight Squeeze Gin & Tonic. The bartender asked if "I liked tree" and I had no idea what that meant, but once I tasted it I knew. It had a super oaky taste (which I always thought was fake) and it had a surprisingly smooth finish. I would go back to Moab Brewery for the sole purpose of vacuum pumping a bottle of their Tight Squeeze Gin.

Food here is delicious! Try the chicken quesadilla, reasonably priced and large portions. Also very dog friendly! Dogs are allowed inside of the bar side, seats are first come first serve & ambiance is very loud. So if you have an anxious nervous dog may not be the best place for them.

It's gonna be a no from me, dawg. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I believe this is the only brewery in Moab. Kudos to them. And to be honest the beer is fine. The vibes here are just...just...in need of a refresh. My buddies and I got to Moab as the sun was setting. We checked into our hotel room and thought we'd grab a beer somewhere before dinner. As I mentioned in a previous review, Moab in January doesn't have too many options. So, props to the brewery for being open and serving locals and those who are traveling through. It's an open floor plan with bar seating and a large dining room. We opted to sit at the bar and watch the football game. There weren't too many people inside and everyone was spread out. It's a confused space, not really sure what it wants to be. Anywho, we ordered a beer. The bartender asked if we were going to order food. We said maybe and that we'd like to keep a menu. He informed us that the kitchen closes at 8:00pm. It was 5:30pm...I think we have enough time if we wanted food, lol. Then it hit us. What is that noise? Why is it so loud? It was the worst music selection I've ever heard at a brewery. Look, music is subjective. Hell, I listen to extremely loud heavy metal. To each their own, right? But it doesn't mean that a playlist can't completely deflate the room. This was as my buddy described, "summer camp music." As soon as he said that it reminded me of when I was a camp counselor. He was spot on. And it was just so awkward being on in an adult environment, being surrounded by only handful of people, with this terrible music in the background. We decided to chug our beers and go elsewhere. When we told the bartender we weren't going to get food, he seemed offended. Based on recent reviews of the food there's nothing to write home about. Idk, everything about this 20 minute experience was just plain old weird. 'Twas a fine beer, but that's it.
