On the Grid : Mobel Zurich

"Since early 2014 Möbel Zurich has been situated in the new Kalbreite building. This high end retro furniture store displays designer classics and fully restored vintage furniture. The design, styles and attention to detail lends itself to the 20th century, and it is a must see. With love and care – these classic pieces are restored and refreshed - contrary to our throw away society. It’s refreshing to see." - Saloon

Yelp
M.Z. is a massive corner shop attractively decked out with spruced-up and desirable home furnishings from the 20th century. In addition to the retail shop, M.Z. has a storage facility in the vicinity containing yet more of the collection and even a Brocki bearing the Möbel Zürich name. Wooden furniture dominates, but there are also Formica-top tables with matching chairs, hanging metal light fixtures, and cookery bits including Pyrex bowls, old-timey kitchen gadgets and dinnerware. Prices can be a bit dear.
