Moco Museum | Amsterdam

Visited mid-August 2025. This place is a perfect contrast to the classical museums nearby. The Banksy collection ("Laugh Now") is iconic, but the real surprise was the Robbie Williams exhibition—unexpectedly deep! The digital immersive rooms downstairs are super cool and great for photos. It was busy (standard for summer), but the flow is good so it didn't feel trapped. A must-visit if you want art that feels fresh and fun.

Loved this museum. We got 2 for 1 tickets and would have felt it was a little overpriced if we didn’t. Organisation wasn’t fabulous arrows on the floor would have really helped as it was a free for all. Banksy section was definitely our favourite, and we would have liked the immersive section to be a bit bigger. But definitely worth a visit!

This museum y very contemporary. The art styles are very modern. The museum was full, it had good traffic and people move pretty well. It had a lot of variety of artist including Banksy and many others. Would recommend to go, costs 20 euro.

We had a wonderful experience at this museum. It features a collection of meaningful, interesting, and representative artworks. I visited the Moco Museum in Amsterdam two weeks ago, and it was such a fun experience. A mix of modern and contemporary art was refreshing and inspiring. I especially loved a digital art exhibition called The Symphony of Nature — it was super dreamy, peaceful, and honestly kind of magical. I also loved seeing the Banksy pieces and works from artists like Warhol, Basquiat and Kusama. The museum isn’t huge, which is perfect if you want something inspiring without spending hours inside. Tip: go in the morning or on a weekday — way fewer people and more space to enjoy everything. If you like modern, bold, or Instagram-friendly art, you’ll love it.

When we left our hotel we had a destination and it was not the Moco Museum, yet here we are, writing a review for it! When we got off the streetcar to go to the art museum, we saw this flashy building and decided to check it out.....which lead to us checking out the whole thing. This museum is (I think) 4 stories and a basement full of art from modern day titans such as Banksy, Takashi Murakami, Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and even some Keith Haring pieces. We spent a good 30-40 minutes exploring this main floors of this museum before heading down to the gift shop area where we were able to get another Magnet, check out the immerse rooms that was mostly just some lights and whatnot, and finally end the tour with the art outside including a giant rocking horse my overweight butt managed to hop onto for a pretty fun picture. Overall, the Moco Museum is a charming museum showcasing some of the best artists of the last 20 years or so with some of their best work on display. I'm not the biggest art guy, but this place had special charm to it that I think everyone should experience, so come look at some incredible art

We visited the Moco Museum with our I AMsterdam cards. It's super close to the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum, so if you have the card, it's worth visiting while you're there. While it is a small museum, it is very upbeat and was a fun way to end the day. A lot of the exhibits are great for posing for Instagram photos or making reels if you're into that. Personally, I loved reading the quotes and also taking pictures of the Banksy street art. Outside, you can climb on the giant rocking horse (at your own risk) and take a picture. This museum has stairs and is not a good fit if you cannot climb stairs (no elevator). You must also keep your coat/umbrella/belongings with you, as there are no lockers. It's a rather small museum but packs a lot of exhibits, so if you plan for an hour here, that should be enough.

Very cool museum with banksy, Andy Warhol, etc. many famous pieces are in this small museum. There is also immersive art which is a cool experience. You can buy a ticket online for cheaper than at the door. I recommend purchasing before as they do sell out on the weekends and during busy seasons. You get a timed ticket and it is quite snug in the museum. They don't let you in until a few minutes before your timed ticket. There is a free audio guide, though we did not do it.

This museum came recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. I really like that there are town houses and that you can find pretty good discount online. Make sure you check that first. Regardless of the discount, it's pretty affordable one. It's also incredibly centrally located with all the other museums. Very easy to purchase tickets and enter. I do feel like the time option was necessary, but not 100% effective. Many of the rooms still felt very overwhelmingly crowded. There was the ability to shift based on how many people were in a room. Highly recommended the audio as it pretty cool stories. Downloading the app Felt like a complete waste as only one photo was really engaging. Great to get a ton of cool photos if you don't mind waiting for the crowds to pass. I really like the stories and the art that was chosen as it pretty cool stories. And the way they shared about the artist. I also love that it was in an old house, which felt very cozy and intimate.

Instagramable Museum with the most random things to see? Yep! I didn't buy the ticket as a standalone, but rather I used the GoCity Pass for several days to get a cheaper admission. If you're young and love to take photos this place is absolutely for you. I could see that if you bought just the ticket the price does seem to be high for how small it is. This isn't like the Rijksmuseum or Maritime Museum. This is a tiny building with a few Banksys and photo ops, so expect just that. Overall it's fine for what it is.

SMALL FUN MODERN ART MUSEUM Featuring original Banksys and other well know activist type modern art. There is an audio tour you can access from your own phone. Also an app which brings some art to life! Movies, EFTs, and fun interactive sculpture garden outside which you may enjoy without paying for admission. My fans know I almost always award 5 stars to museum if for no other reason that art deserves as much attention as possible. And this museum is no exception. It's fun, and engaging. Really cool place to visit. The museum was a bit smaller than expected and it could get a bit cramped at times. Despite that it was nice getting to see all the artwork and interactive areas. There's a lot of great spots to take photos at.

This was a small museum, but filled with a LOT of character and features from different artists. I was still on East Coast time, so woke up same day and bought a ticket for the opening time, 9 AM online. Booking online was incredibly easy and the earlier ticket times limit the amount of people who can come in, so if you're jet-lagged and looking for a more intimate experience, I DEFINITELY recommend online booking one of the early ticket times because there was not a single point that I felt crowded. They recommend that you start at the top and work your way down, which is exactly what I did. There were pieces throughout the museum by Basquiat, Murakami, Kaws, a small Kusama exhibit, as well as an entire Banksy exhibit featuring a ton of their work. There were also some incredible immersive experiences as well and coming that early, there were rooms I got entirely to myself, which definitely enhanced the experience. The building was also beautiful and had a lot of gorgeous architectural features. It was pouring when I went so I didn't spend much time in the outdoor space, but there were some pieces out there as well on the grounds. I'm really glad I went to Moco and would definitely recommend and return the next time I go to Amsterdam.

We came on a Monday and it was quite crowded. It's also a really small museum. My bf and I finished within 30 mins. They did have some cool stuff in there tho but I wish it was bigger to make it worth it. It was about 44 euros for the both of us and there wasn't a line to get in.

This museum was terribly crowded and boring. Nothing worth seeing that you haven't seen online. Most boring contemporary museum I've been to.

Yelp Review 2023 #25: I bought my museum ticket at the last minute online. There are plenty of museums in this area. I've been to Rijksmuseum on my first visit to Amsterdam years ago but I forgot to bring my phone or a camera - in other words, I had no proof I was there. But since I've already been there, Moco was at the top of my list. I love modern/ contemporary art. I checked online which artists they have. And seeing that they have Banksy and Yayoi Kusama was enough for me to buy a ticket. When I got there, I got to see works by Banksy, Jeff Koons, The Kid, Yayoi Kusama, Basquiat, Warhol, Kaws, Julian Opie, Keith Haring, Takashi Murakami, JR, Stik, etc. As soon as you enter, you'll immediately see Banksy, Marina Abramovic, Julian Opie, and Kaws. From there, I felt like I was just floating around the museum. I may or may not have been to the same parts of the museum a few times. Each floor has a restroom. The bottom floor has installations, gift shop where I bought a crappy umbrella that costs 9euros and only lasted 1 minute in the rain before snapping and the metal parts poked a hole on the umbrella! You exit through the garden which has a few more sculptures. When you buy a ticket, you have to pick a time slot. And you have to be there at the time that you picked. If you're early, you have to be in the waiting area outside. If you're late, you have to be in the waiting area if you're less than 15 minutes late. If you're really late, sorry, you missed your chance and you have to buy a new ticket.

I'm glad I went, but I wouldn't go again. We decided to stop after visiting the Rijksmuseum. Moco has some fun art, but the layout is difficult to maneuver with how many people they let in. It was really warm inside, even though outside wasn't very cold, so it felt stuffy in a lot of rooms.

One of the best museums in Amsterdam. The line isn't ever too long and the whole museum can be seen in under an hour. Also lots of cute stuff in the gift shop!

Absolutely loved this gallery, so many fun and interesting pieces from amazing artists like Banksy and Tracey Emin. The immersive experience was so mesmerising and great photo opportunities as well as the garden with its giant gummy bear and a beautiful bed surrounded by golden palm trees to lounge on. The gift shop is great for banksy posters, jumpers, badges, stickers, books but quite expensive as you can imagine but otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and highly recommend.

This was the worst museum I have ever visited. There was a very limited number of artworks on display and the ones that were on display were underwhelming. My family and I thought MOCO had a similar vibe as the Glasgow Wonka World disaster. My daughter told me that she felt like she was in a "Nathan For You" segment. Three thumbs down!

Some great artists, some terrible. It's extremely small but that's not the main issue, I found myself to be really underwhelmed with certain aspects of the curation and arrangement of the museum in general. It's not a completely terrible museum but for the price you would be much much better off going to any other museum in the area. If you want to visit a museum for the sake of Instagram photos this is great I assume but if you are interested in art as an artist and critical thought on it then this is not the one. I regret paying for and going here.

I really enjoyed my time at the Moco Museum. I'm already a fan of modern art and this museum didn't disappoint. I booked my tickets the day off my visit for 19.95 Euros and I also selected a timeslot for my visit. It took me about an hour to explore the entire museum and the museum is a bit on the smaller side. I enjoyed looking at artworks by Banksy, Kaws, Keith Haring, Yayoi Kusama, and etc. I really enjoyed the last section of the museum which was the "Digital Immersive Art" and there were about four rooms to explore in. After that section, you can visit the gift shop and then exit the museum to explore the outdoor section of the museum (i.e. Moco Garden).

The first time we went to Amsterdam, we visited the incredible Van Gogh Museum (which I highly recommend). Upon leaving, we walked down the courtyard a little ways and stumbled upon the Moco - complete with extremely recognizable Banksy artworks out in the courtyard outside the building. I LOVE Banksy stuff. I follow him rabidly on social. And I was SO disappointed that I didn't know about the Moco and more importantly that there was no way for me to visit it because it was closed and that was our last day in town. So this time, I vowed not to make the same mistake. Note to all: Buy your tickets in advance online. The museum does get quite busy. And when we walked up at 10:15 for our 10:15 slot, we were ushered right in the door while others were being told the museum was quite full and they'd have to wait or buy tickets for a later date/time. Once you walk up the front stairs of what really looks like a large house, you are greeted warmly, handed a map and interactive guide and told that it's best to start at the top and work your way down. There are three floors and you climb the steps. I will say that I think they do this partially for crowd control because it makes more sense from a traffic pattern standpoint. The other reason is much more practical. The Banksy stuff is on the bottom so they want you to wait till the end and also they don't want people to just come see the Banksy stuff and leave. I will say the exhibits on the top two floors were super cool and we enjoyed walking around them immensely. I took a ton of pictures. It was some really cool stuff. The first floor is where Banksy is housed and as a big fan, I really enjoyed wandering through and being able to look at some of his works that I've only seen in pictures until now. There are some really famous ones like the girl with the heart balloon and the smiley face soldiers. There are also some of his works outside the building in the courtyard (and you are encouraged to touch, ride, jump on them). Then we went down to the basement which houses the gift shop and also a really cool and unexpected exhibit using a lot of lights and infinity mirrors. It creates an awesome visual effect and is a great place to take a selfie. In all it took us like an hour to do the whole museum. It's not big. But it was really fun and a very different museum experience than most, even most modern art museums. I totally encourage you to check it out. Pro tip: When you buy your tickets online you get an email Print it out and you get a discount at the gift shop and a free Banksy postcard.

It's a modern museum and you get to see some Banksy pieces, but overall it was fairly small and very crowded despite having timeslot tickets. There's no real direction through the museum and you had to rely on the audioguide for more descriptions as the ones on the wall were very sparse. The museum is multiple stories, but the coolest exhibits were primarily on the first two floors. Overall, it was enjoyable (there's a few pieces outside in the courtyard area too) but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, it was pretty pricey for a small amount of art and overly crowded. If you like modern art, then check them out, but be prepared for crowds.

What a great experience! Purchased our tickets outside, using the QR code and within minutes, we were inside. It is a small space of 3 levels, but each inch is utilized. It did get quite crowded, which made it louder and more difficult to navigate than expected. Definately a must see when in Amsterdam. Located very close to the Van Gogh and Rikjsmuseum. We spent about an hour here, so it is not an all day thing.

I loved Moco Museum, I love modern art so of course I loved the museum. Is it small & crowded yes but that's not the reason for my rate. My rating is because of an altercation that happened & how they handled it. There was a certain patron that started an altercation with us where it escalated. Instead of believing us & the witnesses, they decided to let the person roam around the museum finishing his experience until they reviewed the tape. (This might've been a policy of theirs so i was ƙ with this andwerWhile they reviewed the tape, the security escorted us out of a room that he wanted to view. And then allowed us to go back in once he was done. (That's the part that got me upset). Once the tape was reviewed is when they decided to take action & said he would be removed. By that time we had had it & requested a refund & left. I don't quite know if he was ever removed but I feel it could've been handled better.

We showed up on a Friday afternoon, bought tickets there (you can buy tickets online via a posted link by the entrance and save a tiny bit. I read the reviews about it being crowded, but that wasn't our experience. I found the small museum to be well planned, visually appealing, and easy to move through, and it was one of my favorite experiences in Amsterdam.

MOCO is probably one of my favorite museums I've ever visited! I was referred by a friend and when I arrived to my surprise I found out they were featuring Banksy. Not only did I get to see amazing Banksy pieces in person but also pieces by Invader, Warhol, Basquiat, and many more. It was awesome and I'm so glad I visited! Best €20 I spent all trip. Great gift store there as well. Don't forget to check out the lower level... they have a simulation light show installation down there to walk through that is killer for getting neat pictures! Enjoy, and thanks again, MOCO Museum! The staff was very pleasant there as well -overall it a perfect experience! I really loved the architecture of the building as well. Important to know it's surrounded by many other museums as well so bring your walking shoes and get inspired by Art for days! Great cigar shop around the corner called "Cigaragua" for a quick smoke and walk! Cheers~

Absolutely amazing! I can't recommend this museum enough! It's not huge and in my opinion it's a little pricey, but it's worth it!! The art collection is amazing both inside and out.

Honestly not too much of a huge fan... love modern art don't get me wrong but was very crowded (way too many tickets were sold for the time slot) hot and cramped. Some exhibits were cool but overall definitely disappointed in the selection. After all advertisements were full of highlighting Andy Warhol and Keith haring but only had one piece from each. Also big section of NFTS, not one for that but if you are interested in that would recommend then. If you are going for the cocktail just know it will be prepackaged & lukewarm.

So disappointing. This is the opposite of a representation of street art. Crammed, crowded, commercial, conformed, confusing and could not wait to exit. Maybe I should have thought about the concept more. Street art in a gallery has such potential of done just right and this more than misses the mark. Yes - Banksy, Warhol, Hirst and Basquiat but at a price to cheapen their work. Both through the lens of a commercial operation and by way of bastardizing placement and poise. Just do not go here unless you have to have a pretentious selfie or want to cram yourself into visual art that was rejected from Coachella.

The museum itself is very small and the reason I gave only two stars is because of the overcrowding. You could barely move and you'd have to wait your turn to almost view a piece or get a photo. The art though is amazing and I really enjoyed the banksy exhibition

It was very crowded. You know the museum isn't very engaging when more people are taking selfies in the mirrors rather than absorbing the art. They had Keith Haring in the gift store but only one piece on display. Overall the experience was very mid The art wasn't very engaging and the info they had on them were very bland. I think taking Banksy and putting their art on display in a museum should've been a red flag given that diminishes the point of their art in general. Very disappointed and I wish there would've been more engaging modern art. The downstairs was cool but it seemed like everyone else's favorite part since they were all taking mirror selfies or instagram photos. Overall, if you're a "hypebeast" then this museum would be perfect for u. I would say to save your money for any other museum besides this one.

Small, but interesting curated collection of modern art. Lots of Banksy portraits here when we visited. Would recommend coming to visit at least once, but there are more impressive museums in the city than this one IMHO.

Had a fantastic time visiting the Moco Museum. There's a wide variety of art from some of the most prolific modern artists. Despite the large collection, the museum is still pretty small, making it easy to navigate and see all the art without going over your culture quota. It really keeps your attention with traditional gallery areas, immersive experiences, and an outdoor sculpture garden. Definitely recommend visiting when you're in Amsterdam! Tip: buy your tickets online in advance to skip the line and get a discount!

It was cool to get to see some Banksy work, but my overall experience here was mediocre. As many others have mentioned, it's too small a space for how many people they admit. Because they don't have any particular route for guests to follow, people are constantly crossing each other's paths and getting in each other's way. I also found the write-ups on the wall (as well as the audio guide) to be pretty simplistic. I think if I were to go back, I'd go either very early or very late to avoid crowding. The museum would really benefit from a suggested direction for guests - I know, it's a modern art museum and doesn't need to follow the rules, but with such a small space this could make a huge difference.

Moco Museum is for those who love modern art. While touring around the Museum Quarter, we decided to check out Moco Museum, as we learned that it had pieces from Banksy, Lichtenstein and Warhol. What I like most about Moco Museum is that compared to the surrounding museums in the neighborhood, Moco is located in an old house, so you really get a feel that you're in someone's house with a collection of artwork! It was inviting and welcoming, and much more interactive than the other museums we visited. Also, unlike the other museums, we were able to purchase admission right there and then instead of having to reserve tickets ahead of time. It may not be as popular as the others, but the artwork featured is wonderful. If you like Banksy, then this is the museum you'll want to check out. Moco had a lot of Banksy pieces to view, including sculptures and his famous, controversial pieces. There were other various modern artists spread throughout the museum, as there are three levels to this house. Don't forget to visit the more interactive rooms where you can be a part of the artwork. The visit ends with an outdoor area, of life size sculptures. I enjoyed visiting the Moco Museum, which differed from style, architecture and ambiance to the other museums around. If you enjoy modern artwork, then this is the museum you'll want to visit in Amsterdam.

The very idea of a museum that charges admission for visitors to view works by famously anonymous street artist Banksy is ridiculous, but I'm guilty of supporting this craziness by paying my admission fee (and renting an audio guide to boot) to go in the Moco. The museum is located on several floors of an old house in Amsterdam, and it's the perfect setting for a non-traditional art gallery. I realize paying for this exhibit goes against just about everything Banksy stands for, but I had to do it. It offers a rare chance to get up close and intimate with some of his more famous works, most literally hacked out of everyday objects from elsewhere -- a fence in the Bronx, a large portion of drywall from an abandoned hotel on the outskirts of Paris, a manhole cover from a bustling Chicago street, or a chunk of asphalt from a London suburb --and slapped on the wall in a museum in Amsterdam. It. Makes. No. Sense! The gift shop is filled with likely unauthorized prints of Banksy's work which is something I'd never choose to buy, but I suppose if you do decide to part with some cash for a reprint of the girl with the balloon on a cheap baseball hat, then that's one of the most consumerism-based expressions of anarchy I've ever seen. Anyhow, I really loved the exhibit and the audio narration is a must-get if you'd like to learn more about the pieces on display. Photography is allowed and encouraged, and it's a great place to visit once you get over the irony of it all.

This museum is a must if you are a Banksy fan! I'm not sure how he would feel about it himself, considering you have to pay to see his artwork at this museum, and the whole point of street art is that it can be viewed by anyone... But putting that aside, I absolutely enjoyed the pieces. Some of his famous work such as the girl with the balloon were here and other pieces as well I had never seen before. You start the museum on the top floor (3rd floor) and make your way down to the bottom. The museum exhibit is in an old house so not your standard museum. All in all I think it was definitely worth going, as my boyfriend who didn't even know much about art enjoyed it himself!

I really enjoyed the Moco Museum and recommend it to everyone. Especially if your visiting the Rijksmuseum (its right by it) This museum had about 4 stories and so much artwork to enjoyed. All the artwork was very modern. They had some amazing art pieces outside as well. If you in Amsterdam, be sure to visit the Moco Museum.

On a trip to Amsterdam (and a couple cities in Belgium), I visited quiet a few museums. And to be honest, this was one of my favorites! My pro tip would be to buy the early bird (or late bird?) tickets. The museum is a few floors, but it is not super big, so going early saved us a few dollars AND allowed us to have more space to explore. I am not pro when it comes to explaining or understanding art, so I won't even try to get into that. However, I do love modern art, street art, and art with a statement behind it, and you can find all of that here. (It's nothing like the Rijksmuseum, which is just a short walk away.) You'll find Banksy (an exhibit), Lichtenstein, ICY AND SOT, and many others. There are really some cool pieces in here. I only dock it one star, because part of me did feel a little weird about this... a lot of this art was intended to be public art. The majority of the art just seems so.... anti-museum. So... while I paid to see it, and I really enjoyed it, it also didn't seem right. Nonetheless, if you like stuff like that, it is really well curated and a lot of fun to visit!

Our visit was ruined by the DJ event that was going on in the BANKSY room. Couldn't enjoy any of the exhibits because of how loud, Crowded, smelly, and rude the guests were. If you are going to have a loud private event then close the damn museum to not ruin the experience for the people who came to enjoy the art. I will never be back nor will I ever recommend this museum to anyone.

A fairly small museum, but I loved the exhibit. Saw Banksy, Warhol, Basquiat, Abramović, and a few more conceptual artists, including a few light installations. Worth going since it's right across the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh.

Very cute! A little stuffy as it is essentially a large house. Would recommend leaving backpacks at home. 3 big artists and some NFTs.

I absolutely loved this gallery. Located in the Museumplein, this place is right in front of the Rijksmuseum and is also next to the Lunch Kiosk. I'm a big fan of Banksy and was 'fangirling' that I got to see the works I am so familiar with seeing on the Internet and social media in person. Had to wait about 20 minutes to get in and buy our tickets for admission, which isn't too bad except that it was about 25 degrees when we went. Also, if you are claustrophobic and/or do not like tight spaces with large crowds, this may be tough for you. The interior of this gallery is quite small and consists of 3 floors I believe. They do not seem to have a cap on the amount of people they let in so you will be shoulder to shoulder the whole time. This makes it hard to get around especially since most people are stopping for selfies and have their bags on. If you can get over the fact there are about a million people inside a matchbox sized house, then it is still an awesome place to check out. Their gift shop is loaded with awesome stuff and I just wish I had more room to bring home 1 of everything.

Bryan is a huge Banksy fan and since Moco was extending the Banksy exhibit we had to check out the Moco! We didn't purchase tickets in advance so as we were walking over from the Van Gogh museum I purchased a couple online, with a 20% discount for online purchases it came out to 31 Euro. I feel like everyone in Amsterdam is just really nice, the security provided us a speaker for our audio tour, you scan a piece and the speakers gives you a little fact. Other than Banksy, there was some Warhol and Basquiat pieces as well! Definitely a wonderful museum, really artistic and well organized.

Moco currently has an NFT exhibit right next to an exhibit called "Anti-Capitalism." Give me a break. NFTs are an artless scam that is hastening the destruction of our planet due to massive energy consumption. Its hypocritical, stupid, and spits in the face of the other artists featured. In general, it's also just shallowly curated. You'll breeze through in a half hour without seeing much of substance.

Nice museum that had Banksy exhibit along with a few Andy Warhol and Kusama to highlight a few artist. It was worth seeing. You can also walk around the grounds of the museum, they have a some interesting sculptures.

Great exhibits - small and intimate. Wouldn't want to visit if it's too crowded. They did a good job with the audio guides. Banksy exhibit was fantastic. The store also carried items that wouldn't be available to us online in the US. Must go!

I was blown away! Banksy! So much thought provoking, vibrant, contemporary art. Wasn't even on my radar and became, hands down my favorite stop of the day. The building is beautiful but again, treacherous stairs

Fantastic Banksy and Lichtenstein exhibits. Great use of building space from the top floor to basement. Banksy exhibit included lots of private collection and preserved street art including pylons and cement blocks. Lichtenstein exhibit features an interactive 3D room - very fun for photos. The gift shop selection has something for everyone. My favorite museum while on vacation to Amsterdam. Entry fee is low priced and there's no need to pre-purchase tickets online. Quite crowded with a low-moderate noise level only from bodies shifting around rooms. Only minutes away from Riks Museum and the I Am Amsterdam sign. Tons of places to eat nearby.

Visiting Amsterdam for the first time and there are a lot of museum options. The Van Gogh museum and the Anne Frank House are far more popular however, and the tickets usually need to be bought in advance. I was traveling solo and my dumbass didn't think to do this, so I settled on Moco, but honestly, Moco might've been better. The entire gallery takes about an hour and a half and includes some of the private collection of more modern artists such as Basquiat (it was only one Basquait but still), Kaws (I don't really know much about Kaws other than everything he does reminds me of Marshmello), and most notably Banksy. I'm not an art guy per se but it was cool seeing some of the newer artists. I wasn't much of a Van Gogh guy to begin with anyway . That coupled with the fact that it's closed to the central Amsterdam area and easy to access by train or walk makes it a great pit stop on your tour of Amsterdam. I recommend for all your auteurs out there. My only regret is not buying an overpriced Banksy hoodie from the souvenir shop. Sriview definitely go here PS they have one of those rooms that's like an art exhibit with glow in the dark purple balls that's perfect for your basic Instagram if that's the sort of thing you're into (I swear everyone has been to one of those infinity light exhibits)
