Booked Sun lunch and 6-8 people waiting when we arrived so booking recommended. Service polite, efficient and friendly. Edamame arrived after mains but otherwise everything was as ordered. Friend had Thai Red Fish Curry which came with a side of rice, and I had the Miso Baked Cauliflower which is just cauliflower so ordered some rice as well. Both dishes were delicious - my friend said the curry was quite spicy, the cauliflower wasn't and had wonderful lemongrass notes coming through. Followed with a shared Japanese Cheesecake (no biscuit base), which was light and not too sweet. Would have liked more yuzu curd and less cream (personal preference) but the freeze dried and fresh raspberries were a perfect counterpoint. For an open space in a gallery it worked well. Some tables have only an internal view. Some tables noted outside but not sure if they were available for dining.

Chefs Kiss 💋 literally 11/10. Neatly tucked away, amongst the wonder and delights of the Art 🎨 Gallery beholds a beautiful restaurant. The food was amazing 👏 🤩. We chose the banquet and there was an array of delights. Pickled Veg, Tempura Eggplant (gummed more!), Fish/Prawn cakes, Fish curry 🍛 so good and the Master Stock Chicken 🐔 so so so moist. I am not a huge lover of desserts, however the palette cleanser granita was lovely and the Japanese cake oh so fluffy. Make a booking, and head on down there - will not be disappointed. Cocktails 🍸 🍹 are pretty good

We visited this museum for the first time during our trip to Sydney, and I was so surprised to find such a great restaurant inside. It has an amazing view and serves clean, delicious Asian-fusion dishes, with simple options that even our baby could enjoy. I’m not too sure about the friendliness of the staff, but being able to enjoy beautiful artworks before and after a meal made the whole experience really special. Even if you’re not there for a full meal, it’s a great spot to relax with a coffee. Definitely worth a visit! ❤️

I think they have revamped the menu … today we had fried eggplant with a sticky sauce, spicy edamame, prawn fishcakes and steamed buns (can’t remember the filling). We started with a cocktail (delicious and well balanced flavours) and finished with an intriguing green granita (matcha) with whipped coconut cream and jewels of pineapple and lychee. We also had the ‘Japanese cheesecake’ which was actually a beautiful sponge dessert with lemon curd, cream, strawberries and a dusting of dried raspberries. This was delicious but both desserts were generous, and one would have actually been enough for 2. The staff were really lovely. I loved that I could actually talk to my friend without yelling! Only note: we were well fed but $100 each for lunch seemed a little much for what were just sharing plates (no mains) but I guess that’s the price these days…

Awesome lovely food, location and staff. Exactly the right combination of taste, class and casual mix. Attentive staff yet casual. One of the nicest I’ve been too. Crying Tiger beef salad and Thai red fish curry. Thank you. Both Delicious. 😀😀😀

The open expanse of the gallery creates a very chilled, calm & quite space for eating. This venue is definitely an experience & one which you should be in the right mind for. The food is a mash of many styles without any (apparent) unifying theme. However everything we had (& it was a banquet) was excellent. Staff are top too and attentive. Cost = huge… this is not the place to bring your kids for a quick bite…

A very nice dining experience after watching Ron Mueck Encounter Exhibition. The Vegan Claypot Rice and Iced Chai are highly recommended here.

I can’t help but post a comment while I’m still sitting in the restaurant! The theme of this time's menu is Asian food. We ordered a set meal for 69 per person. Fish cakes and satay skewers are very good Southeast Asian flavors. This is my most recommended dish, Crispy eggplant is more Chinese style. What surprised me was that it used Lao Gan Ma sauce 😂. The last main course is a bit like barbecued pork and is also delicious. Maybe the only flaw is that the meat is a little bit old, but I'd give it five stars.
