Modern Adventure

Cannot overstate how wonderful our recent trip with ModernAdventure was! Everything was beautiful and thoughtfully curated, from hotels to meals to activities. Guides were excellent, and the logistics team made things pretty much stress-free the whole time. I appreciated the group activities and meals (especially getting to hang out with the tastmaker), but also really loved the free afternoons and occasional morning to unwind and explore on our own: so many tours try to hard to pack it all in and you're with the same people constantly, but Modern Adventure seems to have found that perfect balance!

My experience with Modern Adventure was truly exceptional. The trip they arranged to Oaxaca, Mexico, was an amazing experience that was brilliantly executed. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for well-curated travel experiences.

I highly recommend booking a trip thru Modern Adventures. It was 5 star accommodations, food, unique and outstanding experiences with knowledgeable and friendly guides. We just spent 10 days in Japan and it was all phenomenal. And the price was reasonable!

Amazing tour of Sweden and Finland with a design theme with the owners of Heath Ceramics. First class hotels, amazing restaurants interesting tours of workshops and factories. Trip organizer and local guides were fantastic. Can’t wait for the next one!

Modern Adventure outdid themselves on the trip I just took to Naples & Sicily with Chef Elizabeth Falkner and our awesome guide Jaime Hanson. It was the most memorable, tastiest and relaxing experience. Every detail was covered with precision. The food was over-the-top. The tours were planned just right with local guides. Most importantly, the group bonded immediately and made it the "best ever" vacation I've taken. Thanks so very much to everyone who planned and participated in this experience. Oh yea, I couldn't believe how much food I could actually consume, but it was so tasty thanks to Chef Falkner and the locals!!!

Had a wonderful time with Modern Adventures. This is our second trip with them. We were able to see Lisbon, Duoro Valley and Porto with many wine and food tastings. Celia, the local guide, was amazing!

10 out of 10!! Such a wonderful trip. My husband and I are not tour group fans - but this didn’t feel like that at all. It really was a group adventure tour!! Every step was so well planned and executed. The food and wine was off the charts.

Outstanding trip from start to finish! Itinerary, Chef, guides, meals, and guests were excellent, and I can't wait to travel with Modern Adventure again. Price tag is high, but worth every penny!
