Modern Art Museum Barranquilla

One of the few remaining museums in Barranquilla, the museum is small but cozy, has constant exhibits that feature local artists, and a couple of weekly events. The place is underfunded but still manages yo serve as a cultural space that promotes diversity in the art medium. Has almost to no parking spots, air conditioning, and is located in a quiet neighborhood.

As of October 2018 they are in the midst of constructing a new building for the Modern Art Museum. In its current state I do not recommend it as there is almost nothing to see Hopefully the new building will be filled with beautiful Modern Art but the current space just isn't really worth the visit. Sorry.

It’s not currently open to the public, and they don’t mention it on their social media or website

I give it 5 starts, when I visit for the first time after 5 years of not being in Colombia, it amaze me...it really did..so much culture in one place! totally worth it to visit and bring friends out of town. not so many hands on things. but a lot of culture!

The museum doesn’t exist anymore. I tried to go today as per their google maps, but there was nothing there. Not sure if it was moved some place else, but they forgot to update this page..

Unfortunately, the museum is no longer open. I was told that it will reopen in another location, but hasn't yet.

This place is very small and doesn't have much art. They are looking to change locations, but until they do it isn't worth going to the current place.
