Modern Motel

The room I rented had no heat. On a 30 degree night. They brought 2 space heaters which did not work. Finally found a small space heater for the room. The room was lukewarm at best. The room was slightly dirty behind things. At 30 min prior to checkout they were banging on the door saying you gotta go. The staff is very rude and disrespectful. The noise and drug traffic there was an issue all night. It's a nice location but DEFINITELY not worth the $$$. The only decent thing about this place is the location. I WOULD NOT recommend this place at all.

Staying here has been an experience. The new management is very cooperative and patient with all my physical needs. Downtown is often an issue of safety and finding a place to stay at a reasonable price. We have chosen to be long-term residents until another opportunity arrives.

Avoid at all costs. At first glance, the property looked decent and recently renovated, but that was not the case. As soon as we stepped out of the car, the atmosphere was weird. When we walked into the lobby, it smelled heavily of smoke, not exactly a welcoming first impression. Even the woman at the front desk seemed unsure and uncomfortable, like she wasn’t confident in what she was doing. We were assigned a room, only to find squatters already inside (the doors have a keypad and open with a code, not a key). That alone should have been the end of it, but the front desk gave us a second room. The moment we walked in, we were hit with the overwhelming smell of smoke, despite the room supposedly being non-smoking. At that point, we didn’t feel safe or comfortable and made the decision to leave, and pay more somewhere else just for peace of mind. Zero concern for guest safety. Zero accountability. Not worth the risk. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Overall wasn’t exactly a bad place itself but it’s in a very bad place altogether. Sometime in the early morning there was a constant banging from the room above, probably people on drugs and it lasted literal hours. It didn’t stop even right before I left. The rooms were nice though, and spacious and clean. I didn’t dislike my stay but it’s definitely not a safe place for family’s.

Immediately upon checking in we felt unsafe. The rooms are poorly renovated. The walls are paper thin. We were blessed with listening to banging and footsteps from above ALL night. Homeless live here and surround the area. I do not recommend staying here if you are alone. The woman at the check in counter was lovely. Otherwise, we will not be back.

My son and I needed a place to stay for the night and this hotel worked out perfectly. The room was very clean and the beds are comfortable. I would stay here again.

What an affordable find! Kind and helpful staff and clean, comfortable room. It IS an older motel with modern updates --So sure, some things show their age, but then, so do I. Fantastic location. Slept great. I've noticed that some reviews take issue with the strict "no guests" policy. This policy makes total sense to me! Why would people would insist on having guests into their private room when there are SO many nearby places to meet up for coffee, a meal or just to sit and talk? That is, unless...those "guests" were not engaging in "legitimate" activities?? I personally felt safer knowing that management strictly limited the use of their property to paying guests only.

If you value your safety, do not stay here. This motel is not secure, and the thought that anyone could have my door code still makes me furious.

Have no idea, how their rooms are, had a reservation, arrived at 9:10 pm, office was closed. No one answers their phone number on the door. All hotels within 1 hour were booked. Had to drive to Denver for a room. Never received a phone call back from the manager from messages left that night or during the following week. Finally spoke to him, he offered no apology, simply repeated himself that I should have read the checking hours policy on the website and it was my fault. Did receive email confirmations from them in the booking and the did not note the limited check in hours. Never again. They did however request a review on the email.
