Modica Beach Resort

There are no services here. They ruined pizza and their shuttle service only takes cash. Cannot use a card. This place is pretty but isolated. Better being all of your own stuff or just move on

Thanks to the Modica Beach resort and all it's staff for their support in organising our beach wedding. It was a fabulous day and we loved every moment. We especially want to thank the directors, the chefs, the maître d', the bartender and everyone else involved behind the scenes. We could not have had such a special day without them and can't wait to see them all again soon.

Amazing hotel at the beach front of Modica with stunning views on the turquoise sea. Staff very friendly and welcoming, special thanks to Leonardo at the reception and Adriano at the bar who both made me feel really welcomed and explained a lot about the local culture etc. Will certainly be back.

+ Hotel is very practical, new and comfortable: comfy beds, good shower, furniture in good condition. Friendly staff and good cleaning. Wonderful clean beach with transparent shallow water. - the hotel lacks soul. No good coffee at the bar, no cannoli for breakfast, no local foods, no watermelon at the breakfast buffet, not even for extra charge. Croissants are very bad. If you go to any bar around the corner, the coffee, croissants and cannoli are fantastic. The hotel is a chain and priority is “the same taste” vs “good taste”, sadly. When asked at the reception about cannoli for breakfast, the manager lied that it’s not breakfast food for locals. Which is not true. This lie left a sour feeling. Eat outside for half price and much tastier food.

A nice resort to stay. Free public parking just a stone throw outside the hotel. Covered private parking was €18 per day. Spacious room, spacious green, spacious relaxing area with benches and umbrella (~€30). Attentive and helpful reception and restaurant staff. However the air-con system was centralised and was not easily adjustable. We had a hot bedtime. Sand was found covering on the lounge bench in my room and was still there after the cleaning service. Quality for their breakfast buffet needs to be improved.

Rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. Spot clean. The beach was brilliant and quiet. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff always helpful and smiling ready to make your stay perfect. We most definetly recommend it and will come back here if ever around in Sicily. It was great to have a car to visit the towns and historical heritage around, but the resort could organize visits and/or car for you if requires. Excellent holidays! Thank you so much!

Wonderful time had with our friends who were married on the private beach. Hotel, food, drinks available, service and management all very good. If i can highlight Antonio as the best barman and Nico as an excellent Front of House manager. Would i go back? Already booked.
