Modjo Restaurant & Bar

A hidden gem, truly. We wanted to eat only local food during our stay, after our great experience with local cuisine in Hanoi. However, after many attempts, we were deeply disappointed - this area is very touristy, and the seafood is rather tasteless compared to Mediterranean seafood. So, we decided to break the pattern and try Western food one evening and ended up at Modjo. The quality of the food is outstanding, meeting high European standards. The Swiss managers’ influence is clear in the food quality, the cleanliness of the kitchen, and the professionalism of the staff. Our children had pasta, we had a burger (super juicy), and for dessert, the white chocolate cream in coconut - outstanding. We’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

The atmosphere here is excellent, and the owners and staff are incredibly attentive and kind. We’ve visited three times in just two weeks, even though I usually prefer trying new places, which really says a lot. The food is exceptional - we’ve tried several starters, the Caesar salad, and the burgers, and everything has been consistently delicious. The highlight for me is the Chocolate Fontaine, truly the best I’ve ever had in my life. Thank you to the whole team for such a wonderful experience every time. Highly recommend!

An amazing team that works hard to serve you a high quality mix of European and Vietnamese cuisine. You will have to reserve a table in advance. The fish dishes are highly recommendable.

Goat cheese and mango salad to die for…the walnuts sprinkled on top was absolutely decadent to add to the flavours..absolutely must do in Mui Ne…I’m going back tomorrow.. a bit on the expensive side, compared to Vietnamese food but I have being here for over a month and looking for something a bit different, and I definitely got that. Thanks Modjo cafe staff are awesome

Everything good, must try when you travel in Phan Thiet, special than local seafood nearby , quality dinners with good prices ! Total just 2 mil with all food and wines like 4-5 stars

The food and the drinks was amazing! The waiters were super nice and understood everything. Recommend you book a table (only had to wait 5 minutes for a table so no big). I ordered spaghetti, it was good but could use some more sauce.

Casual and exceptional food. We see a lot of dishes here even ho chi minh city don’t have. Very rare such as fondu or raclette. Highly recommend for change of the scenery. Ps the photos are shit because I’m too busy eating 🤣 Service are fast and the owner are super nice
