The food and the atmosphere are amazing. The restaurant has a cozy setting and fulfilling food. The service is amazing and the servers show great effort in making you feel appreciated. Like speaking words in your language for example. The restaurant is in a great spot, right below the Castle. One of its sections is even directly carved in the hill and the exposed rock works as the wall. We had the duck leg and the pork chop. The meat was cooked to perfection and the food on the side was flavourful and added to the dish. Overall we had a great experience, the only thing to keep in mind is that the restaurant is on the more expensive side :).

Visited for lunch and ordered the chefs special venison loin paired with the recommended Cabernet Sauvignon. Possibly one of the best meals I have had. The meat was beautifully cooked and the dumplings and caramel sauce was delicious. Very traditional Slovakian food in an authentic cosy atmosphere. The service was also fabulous, my waiter was very friendly, gave me recommendations and helped me select my choices. I would love to come here again and would recommend to everyone !!

Best food in Bratislava! After a long day visiting the castle, my wife and I had a great dinner at the Blue Star. The inside of the restaurant was very cozy and the staff were very polite. We both ordered the struddel stuffed with beetroot and the Bryndzové halušky. The meals tasted amazing and we really enjoyed our time here 😊

Walk-ins will likely be disappointed, as every table is in high demand—and for good reason. Every single bite seemed like bliss. I ordered two dishes that were absolute top-notch: 1. The Rabbit Leg with Red Wine Sauce and Forest Mushrooms was perfection. The rabbit was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the red wine sauce was rich and earthy, perfectly complementing the fresh forest mushrooms. 2. The Duck Liver Pâté with Almonds and Cranberries was a masterful starter. The pâté was smooth and decadent, with the almonds adding a satisfying crunch and the cranberries cutting through the richness with a beautiful tartness. Blue star is an amazing restaurant. The food is great, tbeir goulash is amazing. Medieval atmosphere, super pleasant staff, a little bit more expensive than the average but you cant leave Bratislava without having eaten there !

We absolutely loved this place! The food is delicious, the atmosphere very picturesque and the manager was so kind! The whole staff was lovely, especially Martino! Martino went above and beyond: he is fully bilingual in Italian, he was extremely helpful and kind, he remembered all of our names (table of five!) and made us feel so taken care of. He also seemed such a genuinely nice person! Bottom line, we loved it so much we came back the following evening!

An absolutely delicious meal ! The staff is very accommodating, and the service was great. Martin, our host was gracious and was constantly checking in to ensure we liked our meals. The dishes were complex, and full of local flavors. The tavern can get a bit dark and noisy but all is forgotten once you start eating. I highly recommend!

We came here on a recommendation. We loved it. It's made inside the mountain on the way to the castle in a medieval style. We ordered soup as a starter, then rabbit and venison . The sweet and sour venison sauce was finger-licking good. As dessert Poppy seed dumplings it s delicious The staff was warm and friendly and thpical soft eelaxing music These place is not cheap but it s not expensive You have to go!!! Recomendation : for dinner you have to do a reservation
