Servatii Cincinnati Christkindlmarkt Is an Ohio Tradition With German Roots

"Perched above the Ohio River with views of the Roebling Suspension Bridge, this lager house anchors the market’s setting and produces much of its food and drink. Rooted in a brewery founded in 1853 by a German immigrant, revived in the 1980s, and brought back home in 2004 under local owner Greg Hardman, it channels Cincinnati’s beer heritage while serving crowd‑pleasers like hand‑cut, breaded schnitzel paired with house‑made apple kraut (apples, bacon, onions, juniper, coriander, and house‑brewed beer). Its west lawn even helped launch the Christkindlmarkt, a natural extension of the tradition‑forward, local‑twist ethos it champions." - Wendy Pramik

The vibe and views were nice. Parking in garage and took elevator to first floor. The waiter was attentive. I ordered short rib pot roast, was super tender and the mashed potatoes were good. I didn't care for the crunchy carrots and celery. Coworkers didn't like their food either. Salmon Oscar, and some type of shrimp Cajun Alfredo .. steak fries were good... Dessert was a bust. The cobbler crust tasted like corn bread. Lemon poppy cake was hard. Cinnamon roll was okay. Atmosphere was pretty, but Not somewhere I would return.

Dined on a Saturday night during Christkindlmarkt season. The evening view from the upstairs seating with the holiday lights and river view was lovely. Our service was good and the sausage platter and Cincinnati style mettwurst did not disappoint. Very pleasant experience and looking forward to stopping in when we are back in town.

A Complete Miss – Bland Food & Slow Service Came in on Labor Day weekend with my girlfriend and another couple. We were walk-ins and waited about 40 minutes for a table, which was fine and expected. The real problems started once we sat down. It took 15 minutes before our server even greeted us. She immediately brought water with ice (would’ve preferred to be asked first since I don’t like ice, but not a big deal). What was disappointing was that every interaction after that was painfully slow — we waited at least 10 minutes each time we needed something. When we finally ordered drinks, I went with the Core 4 beer flight, while the rest of my party ordered a cocktail, a lager, and a soft drink. The beers were underwhelming — flat flavors, no distinction — and not worth the 20 minutes it took for drinks to arrive. At that point, we decided to keep it simple and just order appetizers before leaving. We ordered the Mexican corn dip with chips and the BBQ nachos. The first appetizer took 15 minutes to arrive, and the second came out 10 minutes later after the server explained that the kitchen had “dropped them” and had to remake them. Not exactly reassuring. To make matters worse, the food didn’t redeem the experience. The corn dip was bland, soulless, and unpleasant. The nachos were forgettable and lacked any real flavor. The server tried to make small talk, but given how slow and unprepared everything felt, it only made the lack of urgency more frustrating. The only positive here is the location and views which are beautiful. Unfortunately, they’re completely overshadowed by the terrible service, lack of preparation, and food that fails to impress. We were there for 90 minutes, but only spent about 20 of that actually eating. That says everything you need to know about the pace of service. I understand it was a holiday weekend, but by 8:15 pm the crowd was slowing down, and the delays continued. That shows poor management and preparation, not just being “busy.” Overall, this place was a letdown in every aspect. Gave it a try, but won’t be coming back and cannot recommend it

Google
The Orange Cream beer is 🔥!!!! Ate on a Thur. Night and it wasn't crowded at all, but made reservations online just in case. (Visiting from out of town.) Seated right away, waiter came over then.disappeared and we had to flag him down. But I think he may have had 3 tables come in around the same time. Everyone liked their meals --- Cheeseburger, Short Ribs, Chicken Salad, and Wings. I hope they always have the Orange Cream on tap. So Good!!!

Google
This place has some great views of the water and right next to the stadium. They have a great beer selection. There are two floors and both have a bar. Food was good no pics as I was there for a group dinner served buffet style it was good and would go back to sit outside when back in town.

Google
2nd time visiting here and this one was just for dinner only. Made reservations for 7:30 and was seated right on time. Less busy than usual but prom couples were there and made it festive. Those girls must've been freezing! i digress. Ok so back to dinner looked like a pretty expansive menu online but wasn't really. So after looking at everything I opted for the Fish n Chips. Sounded good. Bad idea. So instead of in house battered cod with Moerlein lager beer in the batter they opted for frozen battered cod and pre-fried it first and then just double dropped it. Wasn't bad tasting but it was soggy and grease soaked. Attention Mr.Beer Baron - don't cheap out and use your own batter ! Our waitress Sierra did swap out the fish for the dry rubbed sriracha wings and they were Awesome! Should've picked them first! Plus most places usually have wilted nasty looking celery sticks but not here they were just cut up.Bonus ! Mrs. got the Moerlein house salad with peppercorn ranch and house made croutons. And her entree was the Mediterranean pasta with blackened shrimp or was supposed to be. Had a good flavor however the dish was definitely lacking more of other items that weren't pasta. Not a big fan of the garlic parmesan fries either but the plain fries were good. The place is big and the people were nice and all but next time I'll start with the wings, burger ,cheesesteak or short ribs pot roast! Great views by the river! Dining hack 101 - Try to go there when the Reds aren't in town or if you're into that thing wait until they are and enjoy the excitement!

Google
Good downtown stop. I had a beer flight, a delicious burger, and a pretzel that was just okay. It felt like a typical but enjoyable bar experience with a nice location by the river.

Google
A nice option for a family meal, with great beer selections. The restaurant has a lovely view of the John A. Roebling Bridge, and the staff is friendly. There was a German band playing, which added to the lively atmosphere. The place looks clean and somewhat cozy. Prices are average, but keep in mind that parking in the area isn't free

Yelp
A must see if you are downtown Cincinnati. Stop in for a great meal or just a refreshing beverage. There is a great history of Moerlein with the city of Cincinnati, combined with awesome views of downtown, the river, and the stadiums. And the staff is friendly & helpful, making you feel like you are visiting family.

Yelp
We visited the Moerlein Lager House restaurant while spending the day at the Christkindl Market in Cincinnati--it's conveniently located right next to the restaurant. What a fantastic find! The décor is stunning--rustic yet contemporary--and the whole place is spotless. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the soup and salad, and both were absolutely delicious. My grandkids ordered from the kids' menu (cheeseburger and chicken tenders), and they loved their meals. My husband had a BLT and was raving about it for hours--and even days--afterward! This spot is a must-visit when you're in Cincinnati. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and very accommodating staff. Highly recommend!

Yelp
My wife and I were in Cincinnati for a long weekend and we decided to hit up a Reds game. Afterwards, we decided to try this brewpub, since I love craft beer. It is a large place with lots of tables and we were seated on the outside patio on a perfect day. I ordered a 22 oz IPA and it was great and came in a really cool mug. Our server was great and we actually chatted with her for about 5 minutes and she was super nice. I ordered a creamsicle beer that was really tasty as well and I got the Greek salad for some food, which was huge and was just fantastic. Lots of feta and olives and one of the best I have had. Most of the dishes we saw could easily be shared and all looked good, I should have ordered the fried pickles, looking back. A total must try and walking distance to the stadium.

Yelp
Stopped by before going to the Reds game. SOLID big chain-vibe restaurant. Service was actually really quick with how busy they were on game day to be honest so kudos to the manager for making sure they were adequately staffed. I would compare it to like a BJ's Brewhouse. Lots of items on the menu and everything we got was solid. Even the kids menu was a hit.

Yelp
Great place for Beer and food. Lots of seating with big tables and a bar area. Service was very friendly. Also happy hour 3-6 Monday thru Friday

Yelp
Located next to Great American Ballpark in the Banks area on the Ohio river. This location has a really good kitchen. The staff is very attentive. We attended a bourbon food pairing event hosted by Cincinnati's own ambassador of fine spirits and local history, Molly Wellmann. Her events are known for being very informative and very well presented by Molly. The food was well prepared and well matched with selected bourbons. A great event as are all of Molly's' events. Lager house is a great place to bring out of town guests and look out on the river. Stop in their new bourbon bar located just off the lobby.....and look for the spot in the lobby where 1st base was located in old Riverfront stadium. Parking on the street or nearby garages.

Yelp
First of all they say 5 ounce tasting sample but the cups are 5 ounce they are not filling up to top so they were really only 4 ounce. Second they say you get a water or Pepsi between tastings. That means we could have 9 "in between" we asked the guy giving out water soda if we could take them home and he said yes. They called the police on us and they threatened to arrest us because we had unopened drinks.

Yelp
Visited Moerlien for a birthday brunch and I was quite impressed. It's not typically the first place you hear mentioned when it comes to brunch but they should definitely be on the list! We had a party of almost 20 people which I know can be chaos at times but our server Justin executed flawlessly! He was playful, attentive, and even offered to be our DJ lol! Now to the food, it was all so delicious and not a single person had a complaint. I tried the buffalo chicken wrap which I loved however I've had way better Brussel sprouts at other locations in the city. My friend got the chorizo omelette and said it was very good. The bison eggrolls are no longer on the menu but they were able to make them and wow I'm glad I got the chance to try it because they were phenomenal and should be added back!! Lastly, they have mimosa flights and pitchers if you are looking for those options. This place is great for large parties, families, or friend outings. I will return!

Yelp
Our family stopped here while in town for a baseball game. Very convenient as it's right by the ball diamond. We ordered the cheese steak sandwich, buffalo chicken wrap (minus the buffalo sauce), BLT and chicken salad sandwich. We were all very happy with our choices, we all finished our meals!! My son and I subbed the French fries for brussel sprouts, these were not our favorite we've had, you can tell they'd been sitting awhile, soggy and not hot. My husband really liked the garlic Parmesan fries. The only negative about our meal was that we sat in the 4 seasons room and it was very hot and stuffy in there. Made for a long meal.

Yelp
It's a girls night out downtown Cinci before the 4 Divas concert. 6 of us. We made a reservation for 5:30 and got seated right away. My friend had a scooter land I stayed with her to go on the elevator for the second floor where we sat with a gorgeous view of the bridge. Drinks were prompt, One friend got a lemon drop and said it was good. I ordered fried pickles for an appetizer and they were the bomb! I got a Reuben with fries and it was delicious. Exactly how you would expect a Reuben to taste. We all loved our food. The blackened .chicken Southwest salad looked delicious as well as the Greek salad. Another friend got the chicken caprese pesto sandwich. She said it was a little dry but our waiter was so attentive he brought out a couple things for her: mayo and a pesto type sauce. That sauce was so good and she loved her sandwhich. I will be back with my hubby. This place is a gem on the river.

Yelp
We went to Moerlein Lager House for a princess themed brunch to celebrate our little princess! This was my first time here and I really loved the experience. The building is beautiful and the seating is comfortable. The food was delicious, I got the salmon and it was cooked beautifully! The service was nice and hospitable and overall I have no complaints. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
We stubbled up to this place while walking around the OH river, and so glad we did. Spacious restaurant with comfortable large windows all around. Bright ambiance and friendly service. Truly enjoyed the beer flight, Moerlein beer tasted great, and I got to try local brews. We have a full slab of ribs with fries, the ribs were easily taken off bones and supper yummy; fries were very well seasoned and delicious. We also tried the onion rings after recommended by the waitress, it was not bad, but compared to fries, we definitely preferred fries. From front staff to waitress, services were attentive and considerate. Convenient parking garages near by. Parking fee goes between $5 - $13 depending on how many hours you need. Game time parking fees are charged whenever the stadiums hosting games and events. And when that happens, the area does get crowded. Highly recommend @WindDinenVacay

Yelp
We have about an hour drive to Cincinnati, so when we wanted to go for Cincy Burger Week, I did my research and decided Moerlein Lager House had the tastiest sounding choices. Most of the participating restaurants had one, or maybe two choices of burgers, but Moerlein had three and they all sounded delicious! My husband and I met our daughter and her boyfriend on a Saturday around 1pm. We got right in, it wasn't as full as we expected. We started with drinks and the chili cheese fries appetizer, which was very good. A few of us also got wedge salads, which was a nice contrast to the heavier part of our meals. Finally, we ordered what we came for, the burgers! We got one of each of their specialty burgers and asked for steak knives so we could split them 4 ways. Our server suggested a few additions to them, a fried egg on the bacon glazed donut burger, and guac on the nacho burger and she was spot on--they were fantastic additions! We had been to Moerlein several times in the past and have always had good service and a great meal, but this might have been the best so far! Absolutely worth the drive!

Yelp
We made reservations for Friday night, prior to FC Cincy game. As usual with reservations, we were taken right back to a table right away. Moerlein is bright and with ceiling to floor windows- you enjoy the river view from most any table. We ordered some appetizers- the fried pickles and the triple dip (guac, roasted corn salsa and pimento dip). Both were great. The batter on the fried pickles was crunchy. The triple dip honestly doesn't need the soft pita unless one of the dips was hummus. It really doesn't go with the other three. The chips were good. For dinner we had the bison meatloaf, squash Wellington with a side of garlic mash and a German sausage platter. The good: The German sausage platter was very flavorful. The garlic mash & the kraut were so good together. The not so good: The meatloaf slices were so dry. You will be able to see it in the picture. 100% sliced pieces left into the fridge then reheated. The garlic mash was good, the wilted spinach tasted sour. The bad: The squash Wellington. I love and I mean love Brussel sprouts. These were sour like the spinach- was so odd. The presentation was very nice but the HUGE let down was the "flakey crust". It was anything but. This tasted like it had been made, refrigerated & then reheated in the microwave. I cannot be convinced otherwise. The color was there, as if it had been at one time crisp, but it was gummy and tasted like leftovers in an open fridge. The highlight was the squash inside. Dessert: We decided to try the raspberry tiramisu. The look of it was sloppy and off putting- favor was tart and good. Dessert drinks: Two martinis. One Espresso and one grasshopper. The grasshopper was as expected- chocolate mint. The Espresso wasn't the typical strong, bold rich flavored type you expect. It was like a heavily sugared Starbucks drink and alcohol. Not bad but not what a typical espresso martini is. Service: She was amazing, very nice and she was super busy. We did see another a worker hurt herself- she went to clean a table and prior, a male server had placed a wet floor sign (after a spill was cleaned up) a little bit hidden by a chair. When she rounded the corner, it caused her to step on it which it slid and I think she turned her ankle or hurt her knee. We hope she is ok!

Yelp
Reached Moerlein Lager House at the midpoint of a really good long walk one recent weeknight. Arrived in time to sit at the bar and enjoy the last 30 minutes of happy hour. My husband and I split a generous plate of BBQ chicken nachos that satisfied our munchies and we each enjoyed a good Moerlein draft for $5. Our server was very attentive, and the bar was nice and buzzy.
google avatar

Yelp
After our tour of Great American Ballpark, we walked to the Moerlein Lager House for lunch. We had the bison meatloaf, the sausage platter and the smothered chicken. Very nice and roomy interior. There were very busy, maybe also a little understaffed. It took a while for our drinks to arrive and have our order taken. Once those two items were complete, our dinners came quickly. Everything was tasty.

Yelp
Fun spot! Pretty good food and service. Pretty loud for a Wednesday night but otherwise no major complaints.
google avatar

Christine Y.

Yelp
The views cannot be beat and the service was great. The food is pretty standard pub fare. I got the beer batter fried fish. The coating is delicious but it wasn't hot and crisp when it came. It had sat for a while. The part fries, ditto. Not hot and fresh. Portions are large. Wish my husband and I had split a dinner. We enjoyed the Christkindlmarkt.

Yelp
Loved the outdoor patio. It was a great night for it!! Service was great! Our food came out pretty quick. The food was incredible. Best fried pickles I've ever had!

Yelp

Yelp
The wings and fries were good. The drink menu was sparse. They only sell crane lake which is the one least expensive wines available for a huge amount of money. They had another wine menu online but it wasn't active.
google avatar

Justina H.

Yelp
Came with a bunch of people (16?). Servers were friendly and willing to split the check. Five stars for them. Food? Three stars. The watermelon drink was sour, the short rib tasteless with a weird soggy texture. The fries were amazing and the highlight of my meal.
google avatar

Kristie E.

Yelp
We had a large group of 19 for a double bday party! The server was fantastic- attentive, kind and personable. Made everything easy and enjoyable. Food came out almost all at once with 19 peeps! Especially since we all are polite and wait for everyone to have their meal!
google avatar

Yelp
Spacious restaurant overlooking the Ohio River. Great location downtown across from the Reds stadium. Service was fast. I got the fish and chips and huge portions for the price. Really great prices overall. I've spent at least $25 on meals like that and here it was only $17ish. Tried the red bull mocktail. Tart but I expected it to be. Fried pickles were amazing.
google avatar

Julie T.

Yelp
Great happy hour and wonderful service. Split the Reuben and it was delicious and the fries were crispy and hot! We had the try rub wings they were very good. Friends had the short rib grilled cheese the liked it.
google avatar

Renae D.

Yelp
Fast & friendly service. It had a great view & vibe but We were very underwhelmed with the food.
google avatar

Yelp
The work crew decided to get together and try the Moerlin. It's in an excellent location near the water and ballpark. The service was pretty good but the food was just ok. I ordered the BBQ pork butt and sausage sandwich. The sauce was great as was the pulled pork, but the sausage felt and tasted like a hot dog. Not exactly what I expected. The rest of the crew had various meals and had a similar experience. Everybody raced about the beer though. Probably would only come here for drinks. The decor inside was awesome and made it feel unique.

Yelp
Our experience at the moerlein lager house was after our experience at the reds stadium. The Brussels sprouts and fried pickles were an awesome treat after the reds win. For dinner we got the MOERS BURGER and MLH CLUB. Was just right with a cold beer soaking in the night life of the city of Cincinnati! Yelp
My wife and I visited Cincinnati Ohio. They've got a beautiful waterfront and we noticed a really nice looking restaurant on our journey. The restaurant is large, has wonderful views of the river, and it's just clean and very beautiful. The menu is full of different foods. Mostly Americana. I ordered the BLT because it sounded good. It was. I'm not exactly sure what the bread was... But it tasted like a really fresh sourdough. There is sort of an overall salty flavor to the sandwich which made it extra delicious. My wife got the barbecue stack sandwich. It had a bunch of different meats in it... Some looked like regular pulled pork and some of it looked just like hotdog. She thought it was good... Maybe the sauce was a bit too sweet. But all in all good food. My only complaint... And it's a small one. The service was just OK. It's a very busy restaurant and it was a very busy night. But, we were sat and never given silverware. We finally had to flag somebody down to find some. I ordered a Coke and had to flag somebody down to get a refill. And any interaction with any server whether they were dropping off food or taking an order they sprinted away from you like you were on fire. It just felt very rushed and impersonal.
google avatar

Jennifer K.

Yelp
The food wasn't that great. The Mac n' cheese was dry. We were told to go upstairs to be seated and were questioned if we had a reservation. Felt very disorganized and uninviting. like we were a burden. The tables were also on top of each other. Could reach out and touch the person next to me if I wanted.
google avatar

Rachel G.

Yelp
Went for dinner with a group of 9. We were seated at a weirdly large table/booth, which made it difficult to talk as a whole group. It was also quite loud, which contributed to the challenge of talking, too. The service was fine; we had some trouble with drinks getting mixed up, but eventually we got the food and drinks we ordered. The fried pickles were a good app, but the wings were lackluster--fine but nothing to write home about. I ordered a Mediterranean salad and added grilled chicken, plus a side of fries. The salad was over dressed, but the chicken was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. The fries came out lukewarm but they were seasoned nicely. Overall, this was a middling dining experience for me. It was fine but it's probably not a place I'll have to try again. That said, if you're in the area, it's a decent stop for dinner.

Yelp
we started with the fried pickles and they were sooo delicious!! i loved the crispyness and it wasn't too greasy at all! 10/10. for my meal i had the california chicken club and it was also very tasty! the chicken was juicy and delicious and the fries were to die for! soo yummy also! 10/10. everything was so delicious and i highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Met a friend for lunch on a weekday. She is local and had eaten here a few times and liked the food. We started with the big pretzel which was delicious! So soft inside. Perfect for sharing too! I got the chicken salad but without chicken- I substituted Salmon. It was also very good and a big portion. Salmon was perfectly cooked and the greens were fresh. Service was great. Would eat here again.

Yelp
We stopped in for burger week. Great service and enjoyed all three of their offerings. We had the doughnut bun burger and added the fried egg, get it with the fried egg tasted like brunch on a plate. The Southwest we added the guacamole and it was a great burger. I loved the tortilla chips added a nice crunch to the burger. The final burger was my favorite Italian beef on a burger with a very spicy gardinera ( a bit too hot for my daughter) everyone else loved it. They had a flight of Bullet Bourbons which was fun.

Yelp
Delicious food! Amazing service! Always my go to when family and friends come into town. Always playing sports games on the televisions! Two levels! I love the short rib grilled cheese and the filet mignon is divine. Perfect for a big group too as they have an appetizer platter with wings ribs calamari and more!! Right by the river park and bridges and reds stadium! I have had exceptional service experiences with Sierra, Bri, Tyler, and Chloe! I'm a regular here lol

Yelp
This is my second review and I have to say that this experience was very pleasant. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. We ate on the patio with a great view of the riverfront. The food was good. Glad we tried it again.

Yelp
We made reservations early in the day and did some site seeing around Cincinnati all day. When we arrived at the restaurant at our reserved time it was just as a home baseball game ended and the restaurant was crowded and our table wasn't ready. We about 10-15 minutes and were seated. Made our way to through the large restaurant to our table which had a nice view of the river from the window. Once we sat down we all commented on how loud it was in the restaurant and realized it was going to be hard to have any table conversation. It was even difficult to hear our waitress when she came to take our drink order. We got our drinks and I didn't care for mine and asked if I could swap it for another and she graciously said sure. My second choose was much better. Our appetizers showed up in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered the Fried Dill Pickles and the Crab Dip and Nachos. The pickles were excellent. The crab dip was somewhere between chilled and slightly warm so I'm not sure if it was supposed to be a warm dip or a cold dip. Although confusing it tasted good enough that we ran out of it far before the chips. I went with a house favorite the slow roasted short rib grilled cheese sandwich with an upgrade to brussel sprouts instead of fries. My husband had the Moer Burger and onion rings. My sandwich reminded me of a French dip. If I had au jus I wouldn't have known the difference. The meat was moist and very tender. The brussel sprouts with balsamic were a great choice. My husband said his burger was perfect and the onion rings were huge. Neither of us finished our sandwiches but that just meant lunch for the next day. Knowing it was extreme circumstances with the game ending and the extra crowd we would most likely be willing to try it again if we were in the area.

Yelp

Yelp
Reviewed by an "out of towner". We picked this spot for the view. Panoramic windows allow you to see the stadium, the ballpark, the bridge and the river! It's perfect while you wait on your meal. Our server brought drinks and appetizers out quickly. The fried pickles were it! We had a group of 6 and we were served fairly quickly and everyone enjoyed their food! FYI on the rootbeer. It's a can - so order a water to go with it - no refills unless you want to $. Beer was tasty and you can sample!

Yelp
Moerlein Lager House was just what we needed upon our arrival in Cincinnati. Better-than-solid bar food and generous portions, great service. They accommodated us with a nice view and seating outside in a quietish spot. We had the fried calamari, the mediterranean pasta, and the salmon Oscar. All were lustily sauced and flavorful. We were able to take some home for the next day.

Yelp
The food is good always, atmosphere can be dead at times depending on when you go. The tvs are good on the patio but bad at the bar. The beer is expensive and not all that great. I would go back but wouldn't seek it out.

Yelp
As a group of 4 we were able to get a table without a reservation right away on a Saturday night during a Reds game, which we were super pleased about! The upstairs outdoor patio was excellent, great view & perfect weather. The beer flights were fun. The food came out rather slow, however it was tasty, our server was super sweet and did a nice job considering how busy it was. We ordered: Brisket Grilled Cheese: 3/5 Cajun Chorizo Chx Pasta: 3/5 Philly Cheesesteak: 2/5 Mac & Cheese + Garm Parm Fries: 5/5 Caesar Salad and Servatii Pretzel: 4/5 (loved the mustard dip with the pretzel)

Yelp
I've always had good food and service from here. Yesterday we were in town and decided to go for lunch. There was virtually no one in the place at the time we went in. I ordered the Moer Burger, their signature item, and it came out as requested. However; after server brought our meal and we never saw or heard from her again. It wasn't until I approached another sever did She come and say she was preoccupied with something else. That being said good food without good service makes it difficult to return.

Yelp
Great food in a perfect location! We stumbled on this place on our way to a Reds game. It is set in the PERFECT spot. We could see both the stadium and the waterfront from our table. We arrived a couple hours before the game and got a table immediately. The service was awesome, quick, and friendly. I chose the balsamic chopped salad and hubby got a burger. Everything was tasty and fresh. The salad was full of yummy things! They also have a great beer selection. Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
I love the views if you can sit facing the river! They even have rooftop seating around the second floor of the building. Food was pretty good here and we all loved the Fried Pickles. My salad wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. Their cocktails were good, but nothing special. Their service seemed slow both times I visited, even getting waters or our first drink orders in. They're known for their beer, but I really only like sour beers so I didn't find anything for me personally. This could be a great spot for more traditional beer lovers to catch a bite and a pint before a Reds game.

Yelp
We had yet another great experience at moerlein! We made early reservations before a show at heritage bank and it was very convenient to walk over after dinner. They always seem to be out of the creamsicle beer my husband wants to try but he enjoyed the raspberry Hefeweizen he got. We shared the greek salad and Mediterranean pasta. Both were very shareable and we were full after them! I loved the creamy balsamic sauce on the pasta and the noodles were a great Al dente.
