Moe's Southwest Grill

This is fast food texmex type food, with a fresh twist. It's not somewhere you'd go for atmosphere or ambiance. I love the fresh ingredients. You can go mild to spicy depending on your taste and portions are generous. Their tortilla chips that come with every order are consistently fresh and tasty. All in all it's fresher food and less salt and fat than most other fat food and better and less expensive than their main competitor. I've not had a bad order there so I'll keep going back.

My wife and I visited Moe’s around 8:38 PM, and from the moment we walked in, the experience was disappointing. The entire staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming—there was no greeting, no acknowledgment, just a cold interaction. The team member who took our order showed no effort to be personable or provide even basic customer service. While we understand this may be a broader issue and not reflective of the true culture of this location, it was enough to leave a lasting negative impression. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won’t be returning.

The food is always good at Moes but Andrew had great service behind the counter. Gave me a free drink when I just asked about how much the prices were. Will be making this my go to moes

Catering order review We had catering for a high school graduate open house. The kids loved it and so did the adults. The line to eat was never empty. The food quality was just as great as in the restaurant and the equipment they give you to keep it warm with all the serving spoons is absolutely perfect. This is turn key catering. You don’t need to do a thing. The guy brings it all in and sets everything up, gives you instructions on what to do with the burners and then asks you if you have any questions or concerns and if you need anything. Brilliant service!!! They give you a ton of food. We ordered for 150. Probably had only a hundred come through. Ate about half the food. The only thing we ran out of was grilled chicken. I wish we had ordered drinks. It would have been so nice to have you handle all of that too.

The service was superb! I was greated with two smiles...🙂 The young man making my food even asked me questions because he can tell I wasn't sure what I wanted and he helped me make up my mind! Its definitely one of my fav restaurants anyways...

Very quiet, i was there 30 minutes and never heard 1 staff member actually say Welcome to Moe's. Which I thought they said it every time someone walked in. Several people came in and nothing was said. Did not seem like a friendly place..I will stick with Blue Coast Burrito. It has been a while so I thought I would give it another go. And it was not worth my $15.00.

They are very consistent they have changed a couple of things, but the food remains the same. Everything is fresh. Everything is real. So no complaints the customer service was okay the atmosphere is more so family oriented it can be a lunch Vibe as well if it's around that time.

we ate there for the first time. They acknowledge you when you walk in. Very friendly and explain the menu. It was more then I could eat chip come with every order...GREAT place i would recommend it..!!!

I'm an Atlanta native, which means that I am pro Moe's over all the others...so Moe and his burritos are my homies! This particular Moe's is located in the plaza that sits on the corner of Cool Springs Boulevard and Aspen Grove Drive, and sits alongside McAlisters, Burger Up, CoreLife and a few other local service spots. Parking can be tough around lunch time, as can traffic...so be careful coming around those corners! This location recently underwent a small renovation/refresh, and is always clean, upkept and well stocked on all the goods! Staff is usually pretty solid with the day shift staff being friendlier and more helpful than the evening staff. My evening trips in I prefer to order ahead. Our office is nearby so we order catering for pick up and delivery from time to time. Each order is always on point and hits the spot of our staff. Food wise, this Moe's does what I need them to do and it never disappoints! The only thing, which I know it is a brand decision, but why y'all got to play with the corn salsa, mushrooms and sauteed onions? Overall, this location is a solid Moe's. I will say I only hear "Welcome to Moe's" about 30% of my visits to this location...they need to step that up!

My first time, and found it a great place. It has good food and a simple menu. It was informal with is perfect for meeting friends and enjoying time together. The staff was great and very helpful. I'm looking forward to going again.

Stay away from this place! I went on a Friday at lunchtime and we were the only people in the restaurant when we arrived. I got a bowl and it was inedible. The lettuce was wilted and brown and the flavors of the food and sauce were repulsive. I honestly couldn't eat 2 bites of the food. The chips were undercooked and left a film on my mouth. The workers were nice which is why I am giving 2 stars, but I will not be returning to this place!

The most important takeaway from this review is that the food was VERY good. It's a chain and very similar to Qdoba and Chipotle. Walk through the line - Subway style - and pick your ingredients. I had the nachos and really liked the adobo chicken over the white meat chicken sold elsewhere. The chips were fresh and not overly thick (like stadium nachos - ugh!) and I liked the cheese. Also, they offered pickled jalapeños which did I don't think are an option at Qdoba. The serving was huge and I couldn't finish it - and I'm not a little guy! Due to the pandemic, they had to close their "salsa" bar so there were only 4 choices and I had to pick one. #3 and it was just "OK" so I'd have liked to sample more choices. Hopefully soon... Complaints: 1st complaint: The place was trashed! It was 7:00 on a Tuesday night so not sure how busy they were but tables, floors, and overflowing trash abounded. Never saw anyone come out to address any cleanliness issues in the 30 minutes we were there. In fact, I had to clean my own table before we could use it! 2nd complaint: Those thin, cheap, and next-to useless napkins! Many chains have gone to these as a cost saving measure but try to eat Mexican food - burritos, tacos, and nachos and not have to wipe your face and hands after every bite! These were only one degree better than setting out Kleenex tissues! Come on corporate bean counters - give us some napkins with substance. I DARE any of you from the home office to eat at your own restaurants with only 4 of these napkins! We went back to the napkin station so many times, it probably cost you MORE than if you would've given us thicker ones to start with!

Went for the first time, only because we had a gift card. Was hoping for better food and a little cleaner inside. $20 for a kids brand cheese burrito, build your own, chips and one drink. We ended up only eating 1/4 of our burritos, bland and not very warm. When I went to throw away our food, the trash cans were over flowing with trash and the floor was filthy. I could not help but notice a lot of the trash was partially eaten food...

This Moes is a let down. My friend and I both got burritos and it was Wayyyy too salty! We figured out the rice or beans have tons of salt. We could both only eat a few bites before we tossed them in the trash. I've never been sensitive to salt or not been able to eat something because of it but this was terrible! If I didn't have high cholesterol before I ate here I definitely do now

Delicious place! I sure wish we had one close in Louisiana. I ate here as part of a training class lunch and I enjoyed it so much.

Clean restaurant and courteous staff! Lots of options from meat to vegetarian--free side toppings. Beer and soda.

Normally I enjoy eating at Moe's but it just isn't as good as it used to be.....got home to enjoy my pork burrito and thought it tasted a little different. No pork. Last order they forgot the cup of queso....shouldn't have to return to the store to get what I ordered online.

Welcome to Moe's? Maybe no. I came to this location with my girlfriend to get some Cinco Moe's. It was 7:53, and thank God they close at 8 right? Nope. We had the top down in our Mini, and noticed a couple walking away from the Moe's door. Defeated and downtrodden. Why? They close at 8. It says it in bold on the window. We sat in disbelief as more people, hundreds of dollars in profit, walked away in anguish. I called hoping for an answer. The employee who answered said they were out of food. I guess I would rather walk in as customers and be told that. Even a note on the door would have been more acceptable. Instead, we weren't welcomed at all. Welcome to inconsolability.

Moe's is waaayyyyy better than chipotle. Stop going there and give Moe's a chance. Chips are free and they have delicious salsa options also. They also don't charge you 3$ for quac. Something to think about. Moe's Monday is the best day to go. You can't beat a $5 burrito/bowl.

Wanna be Chipolte, 3.99 for a small queso. Are you kidding me? I don't complain about prices, but my gosh that is ridiculous to charge that much for that little. The meal was horrible to. Pay the extra few dollars and eat at a real Mexican restaurant I won't be back and I urge others to check their receipts where it isn't a surprise when you leave. I

I'm usually a fan of this place. I was looking forward to dinner, but it seems they decided to close early tonight. The sign and website say they're open until 9 pm on Saturday, but the sign is out lights are dimmed and they're cleaning up for the day. Pretty disappointing.

My experience with Moe's today at the Cool Springs location was terrible. Food was average and the place was a mess. All trash cans were overflowing and most tables were disgustingly dirty. Management either needs to be fired or step up service.

At home recouping from neck surgery for months and really dependent on delivery services for a while to have decent meals. Have ordered from you guys on numerous occasions and just really tired of the CoolSprings restaurant consistently getting my orders wrong! I've noticed on multiple occasions that the sauce within my main dish was missing. Kinda let it slide, but these last two incidents were the straws that have broken this camels back. Two of my most recent orders, cookies were missing from the order that was placed. Made a note about it in the special instructions section of this current order. Sure, they gave me the cookies I paid for last time and for what was ordered this time. But the order itself, is a whole different ballgame. There was no avocado crema in both of my burrito bowls, and none of the extra tomatillo or el guapo that was ordered for each bowl. As for the chips, asked for two extra tomatillo, and yet again, none....not even the one that is supposed to come with the chips! Question? Would any of you like to choke down a gritty burrito bowl and tortilla chips bone dry??? Tried to be patient, but this is it! I'm so done with this business!! Wish I could give you guys 0 stars because your kitchen clearly needs to learn how to properly pay attention to customer orders. Will NEVER be ordering anything from your business again.

Good Moes. Fast and clean. Burrito and quesadilla were made well. Salsa bar was full. That's all you can ask for.

For people from other regions of the country, the food is similar to Chipotle's. The prices are decent and the wifi works.

What in the world? Who puts cinnamon in carnitas? The spice over powered the pork and ruined the whole experience. My first and last one to Mo's. Would not recommend to anyone. The beans were not seasoned, and the black olives and cilantro taste as if they'd been sitting a while in the refrigerator. I was expecting tradition flavors and fresh food... I did note get it at Mo's!

Being a crazy-taco-obsessed soul who frequents mom & pop shops, I feel as though I shouldn't love a chain much, but customizing a Mexican dish (tacos, salads, burritos) to my exact tastes without any of the cooking labor is amazing. Service is always friendly & they build giaaaant burritos & will add more of any ingredient if you ask nicely. Free chips with every meal & access to their salsa bar adds a cherry on top. Try the green salsa, but be prepared for a new addiction.

Wish I was kidding... 2 plain ground beef tacos, 2 chicken/cheese quesadillas, 2 drinks = $27. Each crappy taco was $4. FOUR DOLLARS! Give me the lowest grade of ground beef and an Old El Paso seasoning packet and I'll make a Taco twice as good with twice the meat for 14 cents, and I'll still double my money. The quesadillas were gristle-filled salt bombs, but if you slather enough sour cream on them you can choke them down and at least stop your stomach from growling. Free chips and salsa are worth about what you pay for them. I swear to all that is Mexican that Taco Bell is better in every way imaginable. Enjoy!

Moes has several locations in the area and the service and product are consistent with them all, I love to hear "Welcome to Moes'". We have two teenagers and everyone always leaves full, which is rare for "fast food". You can order any item with out the shell and to be honest it is still just as good in the bowl as the shell and that makes it easy to eat clean in a hurry. I would also recommend there call ahead feature. We do this a lot on our way home if it's late and it is always a big hit. My favorite is a Close Talker In a Bowl and then add everything!

I wish I could give Moe's a 5 star rating. My husband and I love the food, the service is friendly, the prices are good and the location is great. Two improvements I would recommend are: 1) A cleaner dining room. Most if not all of the employees are behind the counter providing the food and checking you out. If an employee could be posted to keep the tables cleared off, sanitized and the salsa/drink station clean - that would be great. 2)More attention to keeping the bathrooms clean would be welcomed. I hope this is helpful. Your food is great!

Moe's is a very high quality urban Mexican food restaurant. Itis almost a mix between Chipolte and Baja Fresh... Moe's does not have the value of Chipoltle though. Its very high priced for the amount of food they give you. Baja Fresh is more of the food portions that they give you. I payed almost $9 for a steak burrito with guacamole... I was expecting to get a Chipoltle size burrito for that price... No... I received a very small one. I did taste very good, and was very quality ingredients. Although its very hard to enjoy it when it cost me as much as some people make working an hour... If you have money to burn, or just dont care about your finances. Then MOE'S is the place for you!!! Me on the other hand... I will not be choosing it as my lunch hour burrito joint. I think I will stick with the low priced Chipoltle burrito that is just down the street on Cool Springs Blvd. Overall, the food was good, not great. The service was ok, and the environment was not all that wonderful. I'm sorry, but it just does not measure up for what it is at that price they are charging... If they lower the prices, they would see me in there for sure...

I've been to Moe's Southwest Grill a few times. I've always gotten the burrito which is huge. On all of my visits, I enjoyed the food, but it is a little pricey. I like that you can buy beer here because I see it as a fast food joint and most of those do not carry any alcohol. I also enjoy the salsa bar. They have a nice variety to choose from. The store seems clean and the service is okay. It's setup like a cafeteria where you walk along and tell them what you want until you get to the end where you pay. Because of this, there is very little interaction with any staff once you receive your food. At this particular location, they have posters of famous icons. I quite like how they have it decorated.

Moe's is my "Go to delicious fast food cheap" option. We always get the Overachiever Taco, which comes with Guacamole, sour cream and all the delicious options on their "taco item bar". It ends up being plenty of food when combined with the chips, salsa and a little side of queso. We love it. If you get two, they give you a price break. And I love small, easy crunch ice, which they have. This Moe's also has the new Coke machine where you can choose your own options for your soda. Easy in with the cafeteria style service and comfortable dining room. They also have outdoor seating for the nice days.

This is one of the restaurants we always look for when on the road with the family. I'm not even a fan of Mexican food, but it's always a treat. On this particular visit, right as we sat down a drink was spilled on a Billy Barou. The manager replaced it for us free of charge, no questions asked. Nice service!

My husband and I had lunch at moes yesterday. There was no ice and the food was super greasy. Since last night both my husband and myself have been sick as a dog.

This is one of the worst meals of my life. Food was served ice cold from a team of kids that didn't even know how give a to go bag. The place was filthy and disgusting. The food had been laying around for hours. Very Disappointing since this place has gone way down from a year ago.

My coworker and I decided to order from Moe's for lunch. I love it when restaurants have online ordering. It's so easy to customize my order and it's fast! My coworker found a promo code which was buy a large drink and get the burrito for free. SO... basically the cheapest lunch ever. And completely yummy. Fast service as well! Will definitely be going back.

Owner replied to my post, I respect that and have adjusted my score. Bad days happen. Otherwise usually great food.

Meh. Knockoff Chipotle in my humble opinion. Not a huge fan. Everything tastes like it was canned, not fresh.

I think I just made my last trip to Moe's in Cool Springs. Three of my last four trips to this location were disappointing. If you're going to have fish on the menu, have it prepared well. Usually I have to wait on it to be cooked, which I don't mind. I get it. It's not a high demand item. But don't make me wait for fish that's over cooked or under cooked. I give up and that's too bad as I have frequented this location since 2007.

They ran out of ice and every table was dirty. Floors were also dirty. Food was good. Service was quick. Wasn't busy at all.

I really want to like Moe's but we have been about 4 times in the past 3 months and this place is disgustingly dirty. The food is good, but after seeing the tables and floors and salsa bar I really question the cleanliness. The staff was nice, but the guy serving the tomatoes and such was sweaty and that's just really kind of gross when he's leaning over the vegetables that are going on my taco. No thanks

This Moe's is my favorite in the area. They seem to have fresher meats because they do such volume. My 5 star review is based on what they are, a quick order taco/burrito place, and they do it better than the other chains. Don't expect fine dining, just good, made to order burritos.

Food was ok but they were in need of good management. Staff was disengaged from the customers. Very inattentive. They would ask what you wanted and then not listen. Sloppy table cleaning. Just took an old wet rag and smeared everything around and on the chairs and floor.

Very comparable to other Moes restaurants. You can get a Joey Junior burrito and a cup of water with complementary chips and salsa for $6.50. From 2-4pm, you can get a burrito and drink for $5 daily. On Mondays, you can get any size burrito and a drink for $6.50 all day.

Nothing to write home about but the food is pretty good. The line moves quickly and the prices are good. Seating can be really tight at lunch time which is typical in Franklin. On mondays you can get a drink for free FYI.

We absolutely love Moes! However this location was dirty. The bathroom was dirty, the drink area was dirty and the salsa area. Not the kind of dirty where they just had a rush and hadn't been able to freshen things up. I'd much rather post a good review, however I hope this causes the management to do something about it. In my opinion, If the restaurant and the bathrooms are dirty, the kitchen is probably worse.

Okay, I love this place. It's pretty pricey, but you get a good amount of food for your money. Unfortunately I just went to their website and pulled up the nutritional information for their menu and realized that my meal contained the caloric and fat intake for 2 days worth of food. So I guess its a good thing I don't go there often, and probably won't go there as long as I am on a quest to get off this baby weight, but just I'll be back, it just may be a while.

It's fine, moderately (not cheap) priced Chipotle-esque food. Good hot salsa with a nice garlic kick in addition to heat kick. Funny movie references in the food nicknames. Website offers deals and discounts and such. I would come back to Moe's.

Yummy! Being from texas, its hard to find texmex food.. this was is as close as you can get. Made a custom dish.. Taco Salad with Fajitas! Yummy!

Moe's is a great spot for lunch during the work week. I love the nachos - you go down the line and tell them exactly what you want on it. Prices are good and it's a step above regular fast food. I do get annoyed that they make their employees scream "Welcome to Moe's" every time someone steps through the door, but whatever. The nachos are still good.

I have eaten at his restaurant many times. For lunch during the week it is quite good. Maribel and Ana are excellent. It's hot, clean, and they keep the line moving. On Sundays it's a different story. Poorly managed and the restaurant is always dirty. As in trash lying around. The Sunday evening staff in particular seems not to care about service at all. I have ordered online on Sunday evening only to arrive and find that they didn't make the order. They never checked to see if an online order came in. Instead of apologizing the guy lied and said sometimes the orders don't go through. I could see the order sitting over there and could tell by their reaction that they just didn't bother to check. I still go for lunch sometimes but never on Sundays. The service is too poor.

Quality Mexican fast food place - better ingredients, things cooked fresh daily, quality you can taste.

Went to Moe's today for lunch. I have severe allergies, and they were over the top helpful and accommodating to me. Awesome bunch of people who work there! And lunch was delicious.

gah! i should buy stock in this place. the service is always super friendly, even during the super busy lunch rush hours you are greeted with, "HI!!!! welcome to moe's!". the food is delicious, and fresh, and tasty, and prepared by the hands of angels. i used to go here on my lunch break at least 2-3 times a week, then i got engaged and had to start saving money, but it's still my number 1 lunch preference. this place fills my dreams, and everyday cravings--it's all i ever think about :) go to moe's, be loved, eat tasty food. also, splurge and pay for the guacamole to be added to your burrito, it'll change your life.

I have gone to this Moes location several times, not long after opening each day and everytime, it is so dirty. Especially around the salsa and drink area. The carpeted area was so dirty each visit. It doesnt look like they ever vacuum. Should be clean each day they open. I noticed a lot of dust around the counters as well. On may last visit about 3 weeks ago, I started choosing my toppings for my tacos and this worker comes out with a metal bin of lettuce, that was so brown throughout the entire pan. I looked at him and as he put the pan down, I couldnt believe he was going to use it. It was BROWN lettuce. A normal person with a brain, would not use that lettuce on customers. I skipped the lettuce and I guarantee everyone after me did too. It was pretty bad looking. When I got to the register, the girl I paid was so dirty. The shirt she had on, looked like she wore it for at least a week without washing. I was disgusted. This was arounf 11:15, so they hadn't been open too long. Moes needs to get it together.
