I used to come here once a week for a few months to get coffee when going to the vet to drop off my kitten who was ill at the time. It was always SUCH a pleasant experience; however, i went yesterday & there was a barista who was so rude, unpleasant, and rushing us to grab our drinks. I've been a barista for six years so i gave her some leeway with the thought of it maybe being a hard far for her, you never know. But she was snarky, when i asked if they have their frozen beverages right now she said "um yes we have blenders year-round" - hence this is obvious but sometimes I've been to spaces where they don't work. I could've worded the question better. Also, she finishes our order and lets us know, i noted it, but still having the 45 second convo with my partner, she cuts me off to tell me again abruptly that my order is waiting for me there. I've never understood the need to rush customers to their order when they're waiting in a cafe. They can get it when they're ready to. Plus it was a few SECONDS. Her demeanor, body language, energy, all that early in the morning was too horrendous for me not to mention. I can have empathy, but she was flat-out rude for no reason. Consider compassion for others. Thank u.i know the service industry is stressful, but don't act like that. (Also this was the first time the beverage quality was bad.) I'm leaving five stars bc the guy that worked here every day before her has always been wonderful. I'm not going to let her ignorance outshine that
Edit: All of the hot beverages were terrible. Basically 75% of our order was bad. (and again, this was our only bad time here. We never saw her before. The guy that's usually behind the counter is a sweetheart,)
