Probably the best Korean food you can find in UWS. Although their food is not as good as what you would find in Ktown, it's good enough to satisfy the cravings.
The Kimchi fries are especially good, very crispy with layers of cheese and diced kimchi. The kimchi gives a sting of spiciness balanced by the cheese, and the two flavors mix well but don't overpower each other. The portion's pretty generous too--enough to be shared between 2-3 people. The friend chicken in my opinion is also better than Koko Wings a few blocks away. The Budaejjigae (army stew) is another one of my favourites, with generous portions of kimchi, ramen, tofu, and meat. It's not too spicy but you start to feel the heat later on, so ask for less spicy if you're not used to the Korean spiciness! The seafood pajeon was fried perfectly, but it was a little lacking in the seafood and felt very carb-heavy. Lastly, the grilled meat platters tend to be a little oily but the meat are of pretty good quality and are well marinated.
The space is not too big and the tables are pretty small too, but the servers are all very friendly. Ideal for casual meals when you want some good Korean food but don't want to travel to Ktown.
