Amazing place for lunch. Came by here before dropping off friends to the airport. To start this off I would say the most must order item here will be the CORNBREAD! Damn best cornbread I’ve ever had. Almost tasted like a dessert. I was very impressed. The other items I got are the pizza, green beans, garlic fries and their kale salad. All amazing tasting. Service is wonderful and atmosphere is amazing. Big restaurant with lots of friendly staff. Will for sure come by again.

TIME OF MY LIFE!! I recently went to Moko kitchen with a group of ladies. A girls night out if you will, we had such an amazing time. The food at Moku was really really good. I did, however not so much like the potstickers. I guess they’re made with a specific type of pork that wasn’t for me. However, the mushroom pizza and the pumpkin ravioli were really great. The cocktails we had a bit on the expensive side, but they were really good and also very pretty. The restaurants atmosphere is awesome. It is a little loud like the music was really loud. Maybe it was just that particular night. The overall price of the restaurant is a little on the expensive side, but not overpriced. Overall, the experience was wonderful. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you had the time.

We came here last night for a date night for hubby's bday. The place has live music going and aesthetically this is a beautiful modern venue. There were a lot of people so we did have to wait a bit for seating. I gave my name and cell # to the host inside the restaurant and it took less than 20 minutes to get seated. I received a text message to confirm I was on the wait list and another text when my table was ready. Once we sat down the manger, who was helping with all of the duties out on the restaurant floor greeted us and poured out our waters. Our waitress Briana came and introduced herself and asked if we needed more time. During our entire time Briana was patient and attentive. She was kind and super responsive. She answered our questions and made a delightful recommendation for dessert. When our drinks took a while to arrive she checked on them for us and later the manager was kind enough to comp us because we waited longer than 25 minutes for them to arrive. We got the truffle fries which were delicious. The pork sliders were flavorful and also delicious. The saimin noodles had a salty broth but everything else was good. We also had the strawberry cream pie and that had a thin buttery crust. It was yummy. I highly recommend coming here and enjoying the live music, the ambience and the food. We had such a great time.

Came here on a weekday for lunch. There are many choices for beers (and local makers) which is nice when you are a visitor to the islands. We ordered 2 beers, 2 small plates and halved a sandwich, and shared a dessert. The small plates (spicy green beans, Caesar salad) were tasty but given the size not great value for money. The ono fish sandwich was a good choice and would recommend it. (4 stars) The Kauai Strawberry pie featured possibly a single strawberry layered thinly on creamy pie filling and thin crispy crust. Service was friendly and the team of servers were welcoming and worked well together. The outdoor seating area was large, wrapping around the building and the sunbrellas provided the desired shade. Indoor seating looked very nice.

Google
A great spot to dine and have a few drinks in the Kakaako area... I love that fact they got Shiner Bock beer on draft (from Dallas, TX)... Food is terrific and fresh...Their happy hour is between 2pm-530pm and they do have Live band for entertainment...Highly recommend Moku Kitchen for some quality food and service.

I recommend trying Moku’s Kitchen for their burgers. I ordered the double with bacon which comes with pickles, lettuce, and tomato. Good size meat portion and it also comes with fries. Delicious, juicy, and flavorful. Budget-friendly price.

Google
Moku Kitchen has shown good service, but the food quality was lacking on both visits. While the portions are generous, the burger meat was of low quality and the fresh fish fillet of the day was notably small for the price charged. The restaurant seems to have potential but needs to improve the quality of ingredients used, especially the burger meat and the size of the fish portions served. I would recommend investing in higher quality ingredients and more adequate portion sizes to ensure a more satisfying dining experience for customers.

Had a great lunch with a Local Brew [2 people]. Food was fantastic but the menu is very limited. Pizza, taco, burger fries. Main focus is on drinks and great list of Wines and Brews. Local beers and IPAs. Fast friendly service and great location that comes at an increased price. Also a great place to relax with friends and enjoying a few drinks

Yelp
Moku is Monkeypod's sister restaurant at SALT Kakaako, so you'll find some similar dishes from both menus. We frequent Monkeypod often, so we wanted to try some dishes that are exclusive to Moku. The go to dish here is the SQUASH RAVIOLI. It is the BEST ever, that Monkeypod sadly removed. So we always go to Moku when we're up for some ravioli again. We had two orders, but I took 0 photos of it cause it just goes straight to my mouth, no time to wait for a photoshoot. We also tried the double smash burger and added avocado to it. This was a little lackluster, but if you're craving a burger, go right ahead. Another dish that we actually really loved was the roasted veggie plate. I'm trying to be in my fit girl era so this was actually really tasty and surprisingly filled us up without making us feel groggy. We added bacon to it, which didn't add too much wham to the dish. We'll probably skip the bacon next time, or try it with another protein. It does get a little busy, since they're a great place to grab some craft cocktails while in the hustle and bustle of Kaka'ako. The night we went, there was a live DJ spinning some reggae music. Pro tip, the bar is open seating and there's typically always a few seats available whenever we go. So if you don't want to wait for a table and don't mind sitting at the bar, just head straight there to start your night right away.

Yelp
Great place for happy hour in town! For the table, we ordered the poke tacos, pork potstickers, garlic truffle oil fries, and Tikka Masala pizza and a hamakua mushroom & truffle oil pizza. The drinks we got were a spicy Bloody Mary, a Monkeypod Mai Tai and the No Ka Oi. We liked that they included the pizzas on the happy hour menu. Since they were at a discounted price, we were more adventurous and tried the Tikka Masala pizza as that isn't one we would have gone for to try. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service we got was fantastic. We had Miya as our waitress and she really made the experience a good one. She would regularly come back and check to make sure we were good or if we needed anything. They validate parking!

Edmon S.

Yelp
We had a great time. The food was delicious and the staff was fast and friendly. The place has a chill yet trendy and fun vibe. I recommend making reservations because the place was packed.

Yelp
Moku Kitchen is one of my go to spots when I'm in Hawaii. The service is great and the food is always on point. They have a great happy hour with discounts on food and drinks. There is live music in the dining room which is nice to listen to while dining. The place is always packed so you know it's good. Kalani was our server and she provided excellent service to our table. We ordered a spread for the table to share. We had the green beans, potstickers, kale salad, squash ravioli, a pork and pineapple pizza, and kids burger. The green beans are one of my favorite dishes I've ordered at any restaurant. They are full of flavor and the macadamia topping adds a nice sweet crunch to the dish. The kale salad is tasty and full of flavors. The potstickers are served over a spicy sauce that add nice heat to the crunchy dish. The pork and pineapple pizza is unique with the flavors of shredded pork, pineapple, and jalapeño slices. The kids burger was a great portion size. Moku Kitchen is a really good spot for happy hour, after work drinks at the bar, or a family dinner. Add it to your list if you haven't been.

Yelp
Had a chance to visit Moku Kitchen when in the area - and this was a really awesome experience. I would highly recommend to come during the happy hour time as the deal is amazing and the food was delicious for what you get! This is a cute upscale restaurant with different types of food. The service overall was quick. Now going on to the food we ordered: *Monkeypod Mai Tai - This was really delicious and enjoyed the lilikoi foam on top. The drink is strong but has all the yummy flavors you would want! I would highly recommend - this drink was recommended by many friends *Kalua pork and pineapple pizza - this was delicious and every bite was a nice savory and sweet. We loved every bite and came with 6 slices which was plenty * Truffle fries - these were super yummy and well crispy with both garlic aioli and ketchup. Plentiful and perfect item to munch on! * pork bulgogi sliders - these were very yummy and came in a set of three. Very flavorful with kimchi and veggies and plenty of meat. We enjoyed this a lot Overall, food and experience was delicious - I left there full and tipsy!

Yelp
We stopped in close to closing the kitchen to get a late dinner bite with our close friend, the hostess made sure we knew the kitchen was closing soon so prepare to have your orders ready. So we ordered a Poki Bowl a Cheese Smash burger with fries and a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. With music in the air And the scent of food being prepared, our meals arrived the Poke bowl had made a slight departure from traditional bowls by adding radish, jalapeno to name a few modifications. The burger and fries were ok couldn't define the special sauce other than different. The Caesar Salad was nothing to rave about just plain ole good nothing to Rave about but good the entire meal was good....

Yelp
Great restaurant in Kakaako! I love all the outdoor seating and curb appeal. We went for lunch with our dog and sat outside. We only waited about 15-20 mins. The wait staff and our server were very friendly and attentive. I liked the variety of food and drink options. We both got a beer on tap and a sandwich. Burger was juicy and cooked perfectly. The buns for the sandwiches were fresh and fluffy! Added great texture and flavor. Really loved the dipping by sauces and how well all the ingredients went together. Worth checking out!

Angel S.

Yelp
My party and I went at 3:45pm for their happy hour. We were seated promptly and requested indoors. Live music is everyday from 4:00-6:00pm so it was perfect timing! The food came out all at once and everything was delicious. Similar to monkeypod, I got their $12 pizza and half off appetizers. Service was quick. We got checked up on very frequently. Place was clean and beautiful. There were birds inside that got in and were scarring me a little but thats okay!

Angela H.

Yelp
Not a bad place to stop by for lunch or dinner. This is a restaurant in the SALT At Our Kaka'ako complex, and you can park in the adjacent garage and get your parking ticket validated. The restaurant has an industrial and modern feel, and there's plenty of seating inside and outside (it wasn't super busy on Wednesday afternoon). Our server was super attentive and friendly as well, which made for a good experience. There were great deals during happy hour, and we ordered the margherita pizza, which was $12. It came out promptly, and it was tasty! The crust was thin and crispy, and it was interesting that it had fresh tomatoes on top. The only thing is I wish the portion sizes were bigger, as it was the size of a personal pizza, but for happy hour pricing, it's not bad. Would definitely come back to grab some drinks and chill with friends.

Yelp
We love anything created by Chef Peter Merriman. A true farm to table experience! I have patroned Merrimans Kamuela, Merrimans Ward, Monkeypod Wailea, Monkeypod Ko'olina, Monkeypod Waikiki and Moku Kitchen. Each has a unique twist while still providing the same excellent experience and service. Moku Kitchen has some of the best pupus/tapas. The potstickers are spicyy! And I love the raviolis! This time we had their loaded potato tacos which I would have never thought to order (my friend suggested it) but it ended up being my favorite item of the night. I wouldn't expect mashed potatoes with loaded potato toppings in a taco shell to taste as good as they did!

Brie S.

Yelp
Moku has such a special place in my heart as my family and I have enjoyed countless dinners and celebrations here over the years. Moku is Merriman's little sister restaurant that has that similar and more approachable farm to table feel and is home to one of the best pau hanas in town. This spot was specifically designed by Hawaii's own Chef Peter Merriman to share his upcountry inspired fare with for his local downtown Honolulu crowd. This open air space lives in the heart of Salt Kakaako and has live music daily. The dishes are so consistent with each visit and there's definitely something for everyone to enjoy on the menu. The service is wonderful and we love coming to see our regular bartenders and snagging seats at the bar. This is an awesome spot to bring visiting loved ones and their mai tai's with their homemade lilikoi foam are a must!

Yelp
Great atmosphere, fast service, considerable pricing to the location. We enjoyed a nice dinner with my wife's work colleagues last night. Unfortunately, none of her peeps made a reservation ahead of time, but my wife and I showed up 30 mins early (to 6:00pm when we were told to meet), so we took the initiative to add ourselves to the waitlist. To our dismay, our party of 12 had a 1.5 hr wait - YIKES. Luckily, we were seated slightly before that. Our server was very prompt and attentive. The food was delicious. No complaints! Just one thing to note is that the entree portions are on the "conservative" side haha..... we had a few in the party who had their $22-25 entree, then ordered another because they were still hungry. For me, I'm very familiar with the menu and portions, so I guided my wife through a successful meal that was a blend of apps and entrees. We were also the only ones to have dessert! What we enjoyed: Monkeypod Maitai - strong and sweet Roasted Squash Ravioli - must have for me Ribeye Steak Tacos - wife loved this; needed spice Hamakua Mushroom & Truffle Pizza - rich & flavorful Fish & Chips sub Garlic Truffle Fries - crispy perfection, fresh fish, garlic fries are also a must have for me! For dessert, we had the banana cream pie which I didn't get a picture of. Our server kindly delivered this on the house since a friend of mine shared that it was my birthday. Thanks Brandon!! Overall, we had a great time. The place is busy and lively - quite loud, in my opinion, but a great place to enjoy a casual meal with friends and family.

Wakaba S.

Yelp
It'd been a while since my last visit, but I was glad that I made it back, specifically for the happy hour. This place was perfect - wonderful service, tasty food, and great happy hour price. I had my favorite Mai Tai, which was excellent and consistent. Then Pork Sliders that had a generous amount of meat and perfect tanginess. Also Garlic Truffle Fries were cooked just right. No wonder this place is so popular. I'll definitely be back again.

Jasmine J.

Yelp
Overall taste and quality of food could improve. I don't mind paying ridiculous prices for ridiculously amazing tasting food. Atmosphere was good. Had to wait about 20-30 minutes to be seated. Overall, way over rated. Typical food you would eat at a bar.

Russ L.

Yelp
I recommend trying Moku's Kitchen for their burgers. I ordered the double with bacon which comes with pickles, lettuce, and tomato. Good size meat portion and it also comes with fries. Delicious, juicy, and flavorful. Budget-friendly price. Chill and relaxing vibe.

Keiko W.

Yelp
Saturday is date night. We were debating where to eat dinner and I told hubby I was craving fish and chips. I looked on Yelp and found that Moku's had fish and chips. I used to come here a lot but haven't been recently. I looked on their website and found they still offer Happy Hour. We found parking easily and found seats at the bar. The first bartender to approach us was very friendly. Their draft beers were limited due to some issue with the taps. He suggested a few and gave me a sample which I liked and ordered. My favorite appetizers are the pumpkin raviolis and Szechuan green beans. I also ordered the fish and chips and the mushroom pizza. Through our dinner the four bartenders all came over to us and offered service. My hubby and I were very happy with the excellent service. Great choice! We left full and happy

T A.

Yelp
Pros: great service, lots of seating, validated parking Cons: Food is lacking especially for the price. I got the fish tacos and there wasn't much seasoning or flavor. They were about $23 for small lackluster tacos.

Antoine D.

Yelp
I was nervous coming in here at first because they were supposed to close in about 50 minutes but we kept it light and tried to grab something quick. I got 4 prime rib tacos which was delicious and at scarfed them down. Our waiter was great never made us feel like they were in a rush to get us out of there. We didn't eat inside cause it was a nice night but it was pretty quiet and we had a great meal

Steve S.

Yelp
Huge improvement since Covid. Ordered pizza, burger, a couple drinks. Everything was perfect. Absolutely no complaints.. pizza was thin and very crispy with a nice crunch. The sliders were tasty with the right amount of spice. So happy Moku's was able to correct whatever was happening there. This was our third time back since Covid and each time it seems to have gotten better. Highly recommend the happy hour menu. $2.00 off drinks and big discounts on small plates and pizzas.

Shay F.

Yelp
Mom of toddler twins here. Win 1. Kids under 3 get pasta for FREE! Win 2. 50% off small plates before 5:30 pm. Win 3. Veggie options! The high chairs have belts and we were seated away from the live music which was super helpful! Spacious enough for double stroller! Loved it. The food was good. The service was good. They even knew to put down the food AWAY from toddlers reach. I must go back soon.

Drew W.

Yelp
Service was awesome and the vibe is very nice. Our server Vica was wonderful. The bartender Gabriel was engaging and very helpful. Food was awesome, prices very reasonable (especially at happy hour), and we'll be back to visit again...and again.

Myning C.

Yelp
Happy Hour?? YES Please! Went for colleagues celebration- had all the Happy Hour appetizers so ono and the jalepeno pizza witg the carnitas was bomb ! Bartender made Bees Knees cocktails as requested - so good!

David L.

Yelp
It was my first time eating here. Had a 8:30 reservation. Got seated at 8:45. There were a bunch of open tables in the section we were in so maybe not enough staff? The decor was nice, casual slam poetry feel. Very loud which made conversation difficult. We ordered a smashed burger and a fish sandwich. Both were tasty and juicy. I loved the aioli that came with the fries. I was disappointed that I had to ask for my water to be refilled. Another issue I had was that both meals were on the small size. My burger was a little bigger than a slider. Overall, not a great experience and I'll probably not come again.

Megan P.

Yelp
Moku Kitchen offers an outstanding happy hour experience that left me thoroughly impressed. Their commitment to using local ingredients shines through in every dish, and their farm-to-barn ethos adds a unique charm to the dining experience. The happy hour deals are unbeatable, with $12 pizzas, 50% off small plates, and $2 off beverages. Whether you choose indoor or outdoor seating, the ambiance is delightful, especially with live music from 4-6 and 6:30-8. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was simply delicious. Now, let me delve into the mouthwatering details of the dishes. The hand-tossed pizzas are a highlight. The sausage and broccolini pizza features sausage from the butcher and bird establishment upstairs, roasted broccolini, garlic confit, and Calabrian chili. The combination of savory sausage, charred broccolini, and subtle heat from the chili makes every bite a delight. The Kalua pork and pineapple pizza is another standout, with tender Kalua pork, mac nut pesto, jalapeño, pineapple, and green onion creating a harmonious fusion of flavors. For something a bit lighter, try the roasted squash ravioli filled with creamy chèvre cheese, spinach, and walnut pesto. The delicate flavors and textures are a testament to the restaurant's commitment to fresh, local ingredients. And don't miss the garlic truffle fries, elevated to gourmet status with garlic truffle oil, Parmesan cheese, whole grain mustard, and house-made ketchup. Wash it all down with the refreshing Mahina Refresher, made with cucumber, lemon, pineapple, ginger soda, and agave. It's the perfect accompaniment to your meal, providing a burst of tropical flavors. Overall, Moku Kitchen exceeded all expectations, and I can't wait to return for another incredible dining experience.

Yelp
One of the things that deterred us from dining at Moku Kitchen was when full service stopped a couple of years ago. Luckily, it's a thing of the past as full service resumed last month. As soon as we heard, we made a reservation for a family dinner celebrating my father's birthday. We love Moku's for several reasons. The casual atmosphere is nice and makes a perfect place for large groups and families. The menu has a great variety with something for everyone...especially kids! It's also ideal for pau hana, girls night, date night and more. We love their live music, ample parking, and friendly service! Do not leave without ordering one of their pies!! Since we were celebrating a special occasion, they gifted us one slice of pie and we ordered two more slices. We got the strawberry cream (which was like a cheesecake), chocolate mac nut, and banana cream. The banana was my favorite of the three. If in doubt of what to order, get the truffle fries and duck tacos and end with a slice of pie! You cannot go wrong.

Mishya J.

Yelp
This is my absolute new favorite restaurant. Food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the margarita pizza, the green beans and the truffle fries to share. And then I ordered the fish sandwich with an upgrade to the truffle fries and our table got the strawberry pie to share. I'm so in love with their food. Service by our waiter was on point and he's so accommodating. The only thing that I didn't like is that if you have a short patron... don't make them sit on a high top chair. I didn't even know how I was going to get up in the chair, much less enjoy my evening. Luckily, they had a regular table for us to be seated at. The restaurant it self it a little on the loud side so you might have to talk a little bit louder than normal. There was music there, but not sure if it was some sort of DJ or just regular music. Parking for salt also sucks but make sure you get your ticket validated or else you might be paying $15 for parking vs $3 or $4.

Debbie H.

Yelp
After a long day of travel this was exactly what I needed. Beautiful evening to set outside so I was thrilled to have that option. Expansive beer and specialty drink menu. So many options. I had to drive so opted for the non-alcoholic ginger beer. It was delicious. Dinner was fish of the day (mahi) on the rotisserie veggie plate. Delicious. Nutritious. Served quickly by a nice waitress. What more could I ask for? Validated parking? Yup, they have that too.

Pete S.

Yelp
We came here for happy hour as our cousin had recommended. It did not disappoint, but the appetizers were tasty but small in size. So our bill with 2 kids came out to be about $160. We ended up ordering regular fish and chips, 2 pizzas (a wild mushroom one and a meatball one), sliders, fries, pork potstickers, taro ravioli. I'm sure there other items, but to me tell you about the drinks here. Their libations seem to pack a punch. Their monkeypod Mai Tai has that straight up rum in your face when you first sip it. Kudos to the bartender and the lilikoi foam balances it out. So we tried their No Ka Oi after. This definitely wasn't the best drink, seemed like an afterthought of the mai tai but with vodka instead. We had a couple more drinks, I do have to say they were also above average for our liking. Definitely skip the pizzas because they were soggy. Definitely skip the fries because they were burnt. Their fish and chips were crisp and delicious, again just a tad small. I thought the ravioli presentation was nice, but the taro was a miss. Our server was terrific, was able to come back and take more of our orders and have our water refilled in a timely manner. Parking at the structure with validation still required me to pay $1.50 even though I was on time. We came on a weekday around 3:30pm, it wasn't that busy. If you like this place, I would recommend Merrimans as well since it's the same owner but the food is better. Or maybe I just like more refined choices since I do feel the menu here is catered more to the younger crowed.

yongxuan L.

Yelp
Food: tastes good, the lamb tastes light and the burger is a little bit dry Service: nice, my server is really friendly and enthusiastic, but they are really busy so just need to be patient. Ambiance: The decoration looks American but is a little bit loud. Overall, the price is affordable (we have 6 people for dinner, and is 35 per person), highly recommend it!!

Sasha L.

Yelp
My parents love this spot for Happy Hour! The small apps are half off (butternut squash ravioli with goat cheese and corn chowder are the best!) and it's a couple bucks off pizza and some drinks! They have a ton of parking in the Kaka'ako building and with validation it was like $1. Definitely come here with friends for a nice relaxing Pau Hana!

Suzette Z.

Yelp
Went here to celebrate my son's bday and we had a blast! My only disappointment would be the truffle fries (which needed more truffle oil please!) but the service, other food, variety of drinks, and live music made up for it. The duck tacos are amazing and you must try the Monkeypod Mai Tai if you haven't tried these yet. (Ive also been the sister restaurant-Monkeypod-and that was great too!)

Chez T.

Yelp
This place is getting better and better. So now it's full service from start to finish. The host stand in front is no more, now u walk thru the doors and head to where you used to order. That's the new host stand and they promptly seat you. From there a server comes and attends to you from start to finish. Just the way I like it! No more food court vibes!! I came for happy hour and had the kalua pork and pineapple pizza, truffle fries and taro ravioli. Everything was delicious. We were so full we had no room for dessert but that's next on my list. Our server was excellent, validation made parking $1 and I can't wait to return!

Noelle Y.

Yelp
I thought I had already written a review because I love it here but better late then never! I haven't been here for awhile and was excited to come for happy hour. I made reservations online which was so easy and convenient. We were able to get seated right before happy hour ended and our server was so so sweet in making sure we got all our orders in for happy hour pricing! Li'l Ann is amazing!! We all got the mai tai, which I'm not usually a fan of but this one has a honey lilikoi foam and I was told it was good. It really is!! I'm so glad I got it, I feel like it's a must try. We also got some appetizers to share. The fries are my favorite. They are soooo good. The ravioli is amazing. We got a veggie pizza and bulgogi sliders which were so flavorful! Excellent options! And I'm so glad we got to try a little bit of all of them. We were pretty full after that. I really want to come again and try more things in the menu. They have more entrees than I remember and I really want to try the pasta. The area is very cool. It's always very crowded which shows how popular it is. I loved hanging out here and getting to try all the delicious food with my friends! Can't wait to come back.

Bernice P.

Yelp
One of the ladies invited me, and I was hesitant since my last experience wasn't too great and which was after COVID when they had a limited menu. I'm so glad I had gone because they have a full menu and nightly entertainment. I had the fish and chips, which I thought were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Not to mention, they make great margaritas, and we had a great server. This place is great for group gatherings, pow wows, dare night or a celebration. Tip: Make a reservation The place gets packed on the weejends.

Jalen T.

Yelp
Food 10/10, able to bring my dog 10/10, staff 10/10 Best happy hour spot hands down

Joy H.

Yelp
Made a reservations but couldn't seat us right away. But the head manager took good care of us. We got a seat at the bar with fun swivel chairs. We got a pizza, veggies and dessert. The ambiance was somewhat loud but fun and lively.

Erin R.

Yelp
Absolutely great service and atmosphere. The entire table loved the truffle fries and mai tai. The ahi tacos weren't great just ok habanero cream was the best part, fish and chips were decent, poke bowl was interesting but not a lot of flavor. Margherita pizza was really bland even with chili flakes - ordered a side of jalapeños to give it some heat and it was just not tasty. Would return because of the great drinks, truffle fries and service. It was pretty busy so hope it was just an off day for the food.

Enya L.

Yelp
Moku is a great spot for happy hour snacks! Every day from 2-5:30, they do $12 pizza, $2 off drinks, and 50% apps. The corn chowder was a nice spin and hit the spot. The soup was chunky, but the coconut milk made it light and refreshing! The mushroom truffle pizza was decent, flavorful, and worth it for happy hour prices. They validate parking and have live music!

Kara R.

Yelp
Please make sure to inspect your takeout order before departing. I had specifically requested truffle fries, but upon arriving home, I found that they were burned and lacked parmesan cheese topping. It was quite unpleasant, especially considering the distance I had to travel. I am disappointed to have spent $12 on fries that were overcooked. Update from initial review: I had a bad experience with the take out but they made it right without me asking. Five stars for amazing customer service. When their food is cooked properly it's amazing.

T S.

Yelp
The food was average but the service took very long. Our waiter was not attentive. We had to keep following up on things. We also ordered dessert that never came.

David W.

Yelp
We really like these folks kale salads! (And most everything else we get here). So much so, I drove in on my day off (from Waikele) to bring a kale salad to my wife who was working a 6th day today near Peir 38. I ordered 3 Kale salads ($15 each) then added chicken ($9) to each, they were billed at $24 each x 3 (+ tax) w/tip. (Planning to take the other two home for my self and my son... 2 dudes who eat kale salad!! ;0) cause it's that good!!! The kale salad has nuts, berries, and other stuff and it's quite good! (For a kale salad!!!) When I got to my wife's job, I discovered we received 3 Caesar Salads! Which is simply the lettuce and cheese. And the lettuce was turning orange!! (I delivered to my wife within 1/2 hour of receiving it). $92.41 with the 20% tip. Rarely to I feel sick and feel I wasted. $$$. To humbug to drive back through the Kakaako traffic... Guess we can't risk take out from here again!!! I would have left this feedback on their internal option, but non was shared on their receipt. Thus, went the Yelp option since nothing offered from the company.

Yelp
This three star rating is a middle ground between their very disappointing mushroom pizza (button mushrooms, no discernible truffle, slightly sour cheese, an overwhelming thyme cast over the whole thing) and their delicious and inventive nonalcoholic mai tai (pineapple-orange-guava juice, macadamia syrup, lilikoi foam). I had a few bites of some small plates like the fries and the squash ravioli, and neither were good or bad enough to sway me.

Yelp
Food was a bit on the salter side. Definitely recommend the pumpkin won ton thingys! Sooooo good. Can never go wrong with live music! Our waitress was very attentive and sweet.

Yelp
Tried this as it was recommended. Service was great. They have live music which was nice and not overpowering. The virgin mai tai with Iilikoi foam was really good. The food was good but not worth the price. Example. Fish sandwich was literally a piece of fish and a bun. Not even any sides. The veggie plate with protein was well done. It was a nice option to have. The banana cream pie was really good. I think maybe the pizza or burger might be a better option. Or even the fish tacos.

Yelp
Always good food, live music during happy hour, Lilikoi foam on the mai tai. Yes please.

Yelp
Been here a few times. So here goes my .02¢ Happy hour is awesome. Great deals on small plates and pizza! We've tried most of the pizza - they are all good but the Watermelon with balsamic vinegar and Kalua pork & pineapple are our go to happy hr pizza. Just the right size and not greasy. The balsamic vinegar compliments the watermelon and goat cheese well. Who would've thought this would be a great combo. But it works and it works well! Kalua pork/pineapple combo is great as well. Drinks are synonymous to Monkeypod's and Merriman's as this is a sister restaurant. One of my fav is the No Ka Oi. But the Mai Tai, which is their signature drink is also good. You order out front and seat yourself. Then the servers can bring other stuff as you order them. Service is good as well. As with any Merriman's venue, they have live music - which is awesome! One of our go to spots!

Yelp
Atmosphere 10. Service 10. Drinks 10. Appetizers (Ravoli) 10. Steak Tacos..the worst quality tacos i've ever experienced. How did they get approved to be on the menu. Basic and tasteless. Felt like they just took a cold corn tortilla from the package and loaded it with asada. when I say taste less. It was the lamest item i've ever had at this place $$$ too for them. Not worth it. hope they improve this recipe soon.

Yelp
Great newer casual dining. Related to the Merriman and Monkeypod group so you'll find similar food and drinks items at a cheaper price. Good services, modern surroundings. Definitely a cool place to go for dinner with the family or a group wanting some live music and a drink. Pork pineapple pizza, beans, truffle fries, poke tacos, fish and chips were great. Burger was pretty food, just simple as was the ravioli.

Yelp
This gem of a place never disappoints. The service is always fast and friendly. The cocktails are delish and the Small Plates are Da Best. Took our friend here to celebrate her birthday as we knew this was a sure thing. Great happy hour and ono food. Our favorite is the Szechuan Green Beans, Bulgogi Sliders, and roasted squash ravioli. We'll keep coming back

Yelp
Very noisy with music blasting both indoors and out which made conversation difficult but we were shown to a quieter spot outdoors under the shade. I ordered the coconut corn chowder and my husband ordered the roasted vegetable plate and a local beer. This is a local farm to table restaurant so all the food was fresh and delicious. The coconut corn chowder was creamy and absolutely delicious, loaded with corn, potato, tomato, and some greens., piping hot. My husband's vegetable platter had broccoli, green beans, tomatoes, carrots, onions, and corn, so much food he could not finish it. Absolutely delicious exclamation
