Rooms were basic but just what we needed. Be aware luckily we did bring our passports but we really didn’t want to but then decided to not take the risk. When I got there they said they would refuse us without passports (different rules for eu citizens). Not a negative, just a heads up. Service was overall good. The best was soraya who was really helpful as we needed to move our booking and she sorted it out very quickly so thank you very much soraya. Amazing location. Would recommend for a few nights in Madrid if you want to keep it affordable. Didn’t use the common room or restaurant so csnt comment on that.

I want to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to the entire team at Hostel Mola, especially the wonderful person I called “Bibo the savior” because he speaks Arabic. This made me feel very comfortable from the very first moment I arrived. He explained all the rules and details clearly and helped me adapt a lot, especially since I don’t speak Spanish. Bibo was like a blessing for me in a new place, a truly respectful and understanding person, and I owe him much of the comfort and calm I felt during my stay. The rest of the team was also very kind, always smiling and ready to help. Honestly, my experience at this hostel was excellent, and I recommend everyone to stay here without hesitation. The place is wonderful and close to everything: restaurants, shops, entertainment, and even the Apple Store I love was very close. The best thing is that all services are available in this place; whatever you need, you will find it, as if they have a magic lamp. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who made my stay special and to the sponsoring companies that offered me this wonderful opportunity. I look forward to returning, and I will be one of the guests on New Year’s Eve. Love you all, see you soon. BADRI ELGERIANI 🇱🇾 (LIBYA)

We had suite #404 and spent 3 nights! There were 3 of us and I used the fold out sofa in the living room as my bed. Very comfortable. The kitchen was very functional with all of the accessories necessary. We did, however, need to have one of the staff reset the circuit breaker that controlled the electric cooktop! Bathroom was very functional for the 3of us sharing the suite. Mola staff were very friendly and helpful.|Madrid is a great city for exploring. I highly recommend the bocadillos con clamari in the Plaza Mayor at the rear exit (Horse's rear-end). The bar is called Casa Rua.👍😀

Fantastic hostel with great atmosphere.. Only issue was the rude breakfast staff :( Great place with an amazing location and very helpful, friendly staff who always greet you with a smile at the reception. The hostel clean, has a genuine communal spirit, attracting many young travelers and offering activities such as board games and pub crawls, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend staying here. The only downside was the brown haired breakfast waitress, who was quite disrespectful and rude, which slightly impacted what would otherwise have been a five-star hostel experience.

Spacious clean apartment at the top of the building, pleasant surprise after the rougher lobby and corridors and failed attempt to use lockers in the basement which wouldn't accept cards or coins (old style experience of coins falling straight through failing to be accepted). Noisy corridors at night, suggest signs to remind people to be quiet for sakes of other guests. Great location for walking the squares of Madrid in the evening, loads of cafes and bars within east reach

The temperature was 35c+ and the AC was not turned on in the room. The room was full and held eight people. I asked reception three times to turn the AC on and each time they told me it was on. They only properly checked on the third time of asking because I insisted it wasnt on and to come into the room themselves to check. An absolutely horrific night's sleep where the room temperature was in the 30s because reception staff had not done their job properly. Majority of the reception staff were very unfriendly. Check in was extremely slow. I waited about 25 minutes to check in; there were only two groups in front of me. Breakfast is extremely overpriced and of poor quality. You easily find something much cheaper and substantial around Sol.

The staff and facilities are exceptionally qualified, and the hostel meets all your expectations. Thanks for all. I'd also like to thank ''Maureen'' for her sincerity. I'd like to emphasize that everyone is friendly. It was a very good experience.

One star mainly because I lost my shoes while staying here. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but if security is not assured, no other positive aspect can make up for it. I left my room around 2 PM and returned at 6 PM, only to find my shoes missing. I initially asked the reception if we could review the security cameras outside the room to see if someone had taken them. However, the person at the desk seemed unwilling, saying the time window was too long to review. The same person also told me that I should have placed my shoes in the locker if I was leaving the room—something I’ve never been advised to do (putting your footwear in a locker) at any other hostel I’ve stayed at in Madrid. I also checked with my roommates if anyone has seen it and they were all outside during the time I left and returned to the room. Now I’ve simply been told that their superiors are aware of the situation and will update me if there’s any progress.

Yelp
Clean and nice hostel. Comfy beds, lots of storage space. Friendly front desk people. Interesting fashion theme. Bedding was clean. Bathroom attached to room (only 8 people), pretty clean as well. Chill vibe. My only grievance is that the storage lockers for holding bags after check out were broken. They had a partnership discount with a nearby storage locker company but it ended costing about €10 instead of €2 which was a bummer. Overall, great experience. I would for sure come back and recommend to a friend.

Yelp
Friendly 'Staff and good food for dinner. I loved going out with the hostel group which made me feel safer and easier to make friends to enjoy going to bars and clubs with. Great lounge downstairs as well. Follow me on Instagram @willeatfood

Yelp
My friend and I had a great experience staying in this hostel while visiting. Our friend lived in a building across the street, so it was very convenient for us. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a gentlemen (can't remember his name) but he was so friendly, helpful, and put up with our nonsense! Lol We got a females only dorm with 6 beds and it was just the two of us the first two days. We were super hung over the first morning so we took advantage of the buffet/vending machines and the peace and quiet lol. The two girls who stayed later in the week were quiet, never noticed them. Our items were always safe in the room, locked underneath the bed. Beds are super comfortable ! A week later we got stuck in a females only 8 person dorm with loud ass people. They were fully booked that night, we had no reservation and they made it work. Even after we told them we wanted to stay in the same room lol. At some point during that trip we stayed in a male and female 4 person dorm. At first we were hesitant to stay with a male but we only needed it for one night since we were heading south the next day for a couple of days. It wasn't as bad as we thought, but the room was definitely small! Each time that we'd come in and out in that month of us staying in Puerta del sol, was really fun. The staff was always friendly and it wasn't expensive. We always got a good price. The hostel is clean, big, and you can meet a lot of people hanging around there. The buffet isn't the best but it is what it is. There's a great spot down the street passed the movie theater "el turkito". Sooooo good. Grocery store is down the street and there's a subway directly across from the hostel. Bars all around. (They do a bar hopping tour).

Yelp
The bed they gave me had bed bugs in it!! I have bites all over my body and it was horrible. I asked the front desk to move me to other bed but they turned me down. They only had the cleaning lady to change the bed sheets for me and still, I got bitten at that night. I ended up going to the hospital and got a shot. I would not recommend this hostel at all!

Yelp
Traveling from the U.S. Hostel was so clean and welcoming. Many activities provided for people staying to take part in. Breakfast in Hostel at a cost. Great way to make people. Right in the center of all of the fun!

Yelp
Clean enough but the common area closes at midnight, you have to pay for luggage storage, and there's no sleeping in the common area. We were denied a late check out and ended up having to pay 15 euro to store our bags from check out at 11am until we left for the airport at 7pm. We were yelled at when my brother tried to take a short nap in the common area despite the fact that it was empty. It wasn't terrible but the Generator Hostel is much more accommodating and a better deal for your money.

Yelp
Friendly and upbeat environment. Perfect location and offers plenty of activities with others in the hostel. Common area is inviting. Rooms are super clean and tidy. Would HIGHLY recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Madrid.

Yelp
Clean enough, but the staff seemed unorganized. There were deals advertised from days before that hadn't been changed. In the common area, there was a sign for a 24 hour airport shuttle, but the desk staff said it only runs once a week. Very long lines during check in, and when we were given our first room keys, we realized the beds had not been changed, and there was trash in the beds. We told the desk staff, and they moved us to another room. However, they didn't give us the correct key cards for the new room. We were told by one staff member that we would be refunded, but when we asked at check out about the refund, we were told that would be unlikely. You need to pay to store luggage, which was inconvenient, and once when we waited to check in, we were told the room was ready, but it wasn't until about an hour later. It was difficult to plan our day around Mola on check in/check out days, and the information in general was inconsistent and unreliable.
